Episode 30- The Royal Palace 9 END ‘Want to marry my son?'

“You have grey eyes like your father”

Empress Lilithesia pointed out. What she didn’t point out was how deep Eugene’s eyes looked. As if there was a story behind those eyes.

“How cute” (Adele Graeme)

“They remind me of when Levis was young.” (The Emperor)

“Strong...!” (Earnest Marleigh)

“Hee?”

A soft confused voice called out in the midst of people reminiscing about Levis.

“Hee?” ‘That familiar use of expression!That familiar voice!’

Eugene could already feel chills creeping up her spinal cord. If she remembers from history, the next action Euria will take will be… World war.

Who could blame this harmless creature for her next set of actions? Can you blame her for not having Eugene insight? Could you really blame a baby for starting world war 3? If someone has to point the fault in someone they should then blame themselves for being loud during her peaceful nappy time and for taking her sister away from her…. Also…. Who is holding her?

Euria looked up towards the strange man who didn't seem to realize she was awake.

“Huh?”

Amos Rodriguez heard a soft voice coming from nearby him. After seconds did he realize that the voice actually came from his lap. Looking down, he saw the small sleeping baby he was holding staring straight into his eyes.

“....” (Euria)

“....” (Amos Rodriguez)

“Oh no.”

Moniqua froze for a good second before dashing towards Euria.

“You’re awake”

Amos Rodriguez spoke out, not realizing his rough deep voice would sound dangerously terrifying to Euria.

“....hee?”

Only now did Amos Rodriguez realize that the little twin he was carrying was most likely afraid of him. Not only did he first see disgust flash through her eyes before he even spoke, after he spoke, her eyes started watering up like a water fountain. To the point where even her blood veins surfaced up into her clear white Sclera.

‘... I might have made a mis.. Mistake..’

Amos Rodriguex silently cursed himself. Is this the future of his offspring as well! Will the first thing his future offspring do is cry as soon as they see him!

The 2nd step into world war 3 started with hiccups. A typical symptom of severely upset infants! However! Before the 3rd step of bursting people’s eardrums could occur, Euria was forcefully taken away by familiar hold.

Moniqua prevented World War 3 and Euria magically took back her upcoming 3rd step of crying, and 2nd step of hiccuping. But her 1st step still remains. Her whole face wrinkled as she pouted making her face look like a 95-year-old man.

“Hee…?” ‘I feel wronged!’

Emperor Zen watched as Moniqua quickly walked towards him with the other twin whose facial expression showed that she lost her whole world. His confusion only increases when Moniqua dangles the red-eyed twin in front of him.

‘What… you want me to hold her?’ (Emperor Zen)

There! Her sister was there!... But.. Who is that man holding her!!!

Her face that showed a split second of joy, once again crumbled in baby wrinkles. Not only did it wrinkle, she was about to start crying in anger!

“Oh no…”

The forgotten Levis was all along beside the Emperor and could see all of Euria’s facial expressions that flashed within splits of seconds. He quickly wanted to grab Eugene out of the Emperor’s hold, but before he could, Eugeneia’s body twisted back towards Euria, directly staring straight into her little sister’s eyes. And then as if it was a natural thing to do, her index finger pointed towards Euria’s forehead. Warning her.

“...He..”

Euria, on the verge of bursting her unlimited tears from who knows where came from, stopped in her tracks. Eugeneia’s ‘don’t you dare hands’ was out. The signal Euria knows, if she continues crying, she will be completely ignored. After 3 months of continuously staying with Eugeneia, she instinctively understood that her sister hated her crying more than anything. Hanging her head down low she ceased her anger and sniffled.

Euria understood that correctly! Eugene has been training Euria to stop her from having her outbursts. Of course, her signal won’t work if a situation is severe and Euria truly feels wronged but most of the time it will work! Although Euria's face will still wrinkle up like an old man, she will not cry.

“......”

Everyone stared at the pair of sisters in shock… The Veria family always manages to produce precedents that some way or another be called geniuses. But at 3 months old? That was unheard of! What intelligent creatures they both were!

“Oh my”

Adele Graeme felt her heart pumping in excitement!

“Those 2 are really special”

Clyde Aker muttered in shock.

Can a newborn really know how to stop her sister from crying? And can newborns hold themselves from crying? That alone is impossible.

The shocked atmosphere was quickly dispersed by Lilithesia's next words.

“Oh my, Euria! Your eyes are beautiful like your mother’s!”

The empress as always didn’t get the point and changed the flow of the atmosphere.

“Want to marry my son?”

She quickly added.

Ramon very quickly denied the Empress statement as he got up from his place and rushed towards the twins. Making motions towards his mother, to hand Euria over to him.

“Eugeneia and Euria can’t get married”

He spoke out in his childish voice as he held Euria close to his chest. Only then did he realize that he behaved very improperly.

‘That's right!’

Eugene silently agreed with Ramon. She will never get married!

“Haha! You are really protective!”

Emperor Zen laughed at Ramon whose facial expression showed confusion and also refusion.

“What about my son?”

Irvin Graeme also added his two cents. No doubt, his son was also a very good candidate for the two twins.

“What do you think, Louis?”

He shifted the question to Louis who was peacefully sipping his tea, looking as though the marriages of the twins did not matter to him

“It is up to my parents to decide the twins' marriages.”

Louis replied to Duke Graeme.

Irvin Graeme laughed. He did not expect Louis to shift his question to Louis’ parents. He thought Louis would deny his son like how Ramon denied the Crown Prince.

Moniqua defended both of her daughters. She gave birth 3 months ago, there was no way she was going to give up on the both of them this soon!

“Not only that, We will give the freedom of choosing their future spouses to them.”

Levis did not like the marriage topic. But just like how he himself chose Moniqua, he wanted his children to be able to choose their future partners for themselves. This society where nobles marry without love is something he does not agree to.

“Do you think it’s really possible?”

Earnest Marleigh spoke out. His meaning was very clear. To find someone who would love each other like how Levis and Moniqua, Lilithesia and Zen, Adele and Irvin, love each other was not possible. Nobles born to this world, do not uphold the emotions of love like this group did.

Ramon loudly exhaled as he carried Aernest back with him to the waiting room. Many things happened, which made everyone ignore the 3rd child of the Veria family. Thinking about Eugeneia who slapped the Emperor’s face he turned towards his Elder brother who was walking beside him with the 2 twins.

“Brother, will Eugeneia be executed?”

He carefully asked Louis. Forgetting that he, himself, should also be executed for behaving improperly to the Empress.

‘Executed……’

As soon as Eugene heard Ramon, she looked up towards Louis, also wanting to know the answer.

“Hmm… Most likely not”

Louis vaguely answered Ramon.

‘Ha...’

Eugene regretfully exhaled. How can she lose her cool and slap The Emperor? Why did the Emperor's deep blue eyes scare her so? Moreover..

Everyone she met today was unexpectedly in shape and had sophisticated western looks. Sharp V-line, tall nose bridge, and peerless skin. She thought Emperor’s were normally old and crinkly like those actors in her modern-day drama’s but unexpectedly, she found out, the Emperor was the same age as Levis. The emperor had a set of deep blue eyes that lightens when the sun hits and soft-looking blonde hair that sways with the wind.

Opposite of the Emperor, the Empress overall aura was like Euria. Innocent yet childish looking. The two things different from Euria was that the Empress has brunette wavy dense hair and light brown gem-like eyes.

Amos Rodriguez, who was frightened silly by Euria, was tan, unlike his peers. He looks like the typical typhoon military men in the modern days. A gigantic man with red-ish brown hair and eyes.

The quiet man, Earnest Marleigh, who only intercepts when he is interested has jet black hair and eyes. He looked like a modern-day medical personnel. Neat in appearance and not overly talkative.

Beside Earnest, Marleigh was a weird looking man with hair color and eyes that seemed to be a hint of black yet depending on his movements, a hue of green will show. Beside him was whom Eugeneia presumes is his wife, Adele. She had Maroon straight hair coupled with a grey pair of eyes. Both the couple seemed to be in sync with themselves as they each both carried a cheeky posture while holding an oriental folding fan. The typical rich vibe is what Eugene feels from them, even though Adele fell off the chair laughing at one point.

In conclusion, they all were different from what she thought olden days people would look like. The saying where fat people were rich because they could afford food did not apply here. They all looked pretty fit even though their constitutions still were bigger than Eugene's previous body. Without a doubt, if her management company saw them, they would a hundred percent beg on their knees to sign these groups of nobles and royals.

Breaking Eugene’s wandering mind, Ramon once again hesitatingly asked his brother.

“...Do you really think Eugenia and Euria will be married to the Crown Prince and Brother Ron Graeme?”

“Hmm...”

Louis hummed. He looked at his two sisters and his brother walking in front of him before replying.

“I don't know”

“Then do you want them to get married to the Crown Prince and brother Ron?.”

Ramon seriously asked his Brother.

“... I don’t know about those 2, but there is a possibility of Eugeneia and Euria marrying once they turn 16 due to the customs of nobles.”

“But didn’t father just say that he will let them both choose for themselves?” (Ramon)

“Yes, he did. But, there is also the problem of them being too old to marry if they can’t find their future husband in time.”

Louis looked at Ramon as he answered and continued to break Ramon’s heart by adding.

Louis' eyes momentarily turned dark as he looked at Eugene. Pulling back he quietly scoffed.

“Haha!”

Louis softly laughed as he saw Eugene’s complexion turned pale and eyes staring back at him with looks that can kill.

“!!” ‘This guy was definitely making fun of me!’ (Eugene)

Ramon felt as if someone had splashed him with a bucket of cold water, not understanding why his stoic brother would just suddenly laugh….
