Episode 28 - The Royal Palace ‘Eugene’s Death.'
Meanwhile in the dreamland of Eugeneia…...
It was the same dream over and over again. Every single day when she heads to dreamland, she would end up in the same dark abyss. Although darkness was usually Eugene’s aesthetic, this place was not. Being here gave her an intense feeling like the feeling she used to feel when she was forced to be locked up in the underground cell beneath her former childhood house. The more she dreams, the more it feels like her entire being will disappear into thin air one day. And that was why Eugene thought she had arrived at the Netherworld when she first came into the abyss. This place exceeds the terror of haunted houses by 100 times! If someone else was here, no doubt they would die from a heart attack.
Signing. She walked over barefoot to her bloody self. The closer she got to her other self meant the faster it was going to be for her to wake up. This tense and dark feeling that feels like her entire being was going to vanish into thin air should be rid of. The sooner the better.
“Hello?”
Her voice echoed into the empty abyss. What better to do than to talk now when she can actually pronounce words properly. She knew no one was going to respond to her anyways.
The creepy song she heard when the abyss tore down and a white room appeared was sung the previous day by Aedelak and Aeselak. Apparently it’s a famous nursery song every child knows.
“Knock-knock
She mumbled.
“A little princess was dancing happily in the beautiful gardens in the Valley of Voiea.
The princess swayed and swirled, everywhere she danced flowers bloomed. The loveable princess everyone admires.”
She continued humming as she walked step by step to her other-self. This song reminded her greatly of Euria as it sounded like something she would do.

“But then one day, some old child got jealous of her beauty, and pushed her from behind, and then the princess fell into”
She ceased her walk as she stopped herself from finishing the song. All it would take was 2 mere words for this nursery song to turn dark. Signing again. This song reminded her of the famous nursery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't put Humpty together again.
There was also the ‘London Bridge is falling down’ song that most children know of. Even the meaning and idea behind that song was dark. London Bridge would fall down unless human sacrifices were buried in the foundations. Children's nursery rhymes and songs are dark!
As she contemplated on nursery songs and rhymes in general a chilled soft-spoken voice sounded out behind her, right by her ears. Whispering the 2 words she didn’t finish off.
“Eternal darkness”
What?
She turned back.
‘....’
Chills hit her body before she could even think. She expected to see someone behind her but what she saw right in front of her was … truly chilling. It was a scene she recognized. This was where she.. Died. The ice storage room.
But why was she here?! Didn’t she leave this world already?
‘Ha..Ha….’
Sure enough, breathing in here was difficult. That time, as well. It was as if something was constricting her lungs making her unable to breathe.
She wouldn’t normally go to such a place but because her manager told her an accident had happened with the Ice Swan sculpture she ordered to celebrate her 15th year anniversary with her fans, she unlike her usual self, came down to check on it. And an accident really did happen to the ice swan sculpture. Along with herself.
‘No. This feels wrong’
The scene here was the same. How the fridge lays is the same. Even the ice dam from the freezing temperature was the same. But, the feeling she felt here, was the same feeling she feels when she dreams of the abyss.

Will her other self also be here? Thinking of that thought, she tried to get up from her position but no matter what she did, it feels as if the body wasn’t hers to operate. Her entire being felt heavy as if she wasn’t made to stand up. It felt like when she was awake in that world…in her baby.. Self.
‘No way.’
Turning around to face that massive freezer, she stared at her reflection in shock... It really was..
Her baby self. Eugeneia.
“What.”
Why am I in this body at this moment? She tried to give reason to what was happening! But… There was no reason nor answers to anything at all! Her being reincarnated! Her sudden death! Her dreams! There was no reason!
Crack.
‘No. way.’
An ill ominous feeling crept upon her. This feeling. The familiar feeling of death.
Cra-ck.
Glancing to the figure reflected by the fridge from the corner of her eyes she felt herself freeze. She could feel her breathings intensifying as a figure crept from right behind her.
‘No.’
It was him! The same darkly dressed man whose face was covered with his hoodie holding her Ice swan sculpture. The last time, she straight up asked him what he was doing with such an important thing, thinking he was a staff member who was being careless. But now, she knows why he was holding the sculpture in such a careless way! Knowing what will transpire in a few seconds, she scrambled to get up and run.
But not only did she find out she could no longer turn around, she could not even move her eyesights away from the man steadily walking behind her with his hands holding the ice sculpture up high.
‘No!’
She sees him pausing in his action but before she could rack her brains to think of a way to escape, he already swiftly crashed the ice sculpture down onto her.
“Damn it all!”
She immediately closed her eyes after she was struck. Wait. She closed her eyes after?
She was.. Alright?
“Haa.. Haaa.”
Reopening her eyes once again, she breathed out in relief. There was no trace of the man at the corner of her eyes. He was gone?
What happened? She did get struck! She saw herself getting murdered! But why did she not feel an ounce of pain?
Trying to move her body again was also futile. She was completely paralyzed! But then suddenly, although there was no figure reflected, she felt soft breathings by her ears.
“It’s time to wake up.”
A familiar female voice whispered. A voice she heard every day, a voice she toned and honed to sound pleasing to people, a voice she spoke with every day before she died.
“Remember, and fight.”
Her voice ordered.
Fight?
“Do you know what’s worse than dyi...ng?”
Unable to hear her voice any longer, a new sensation inched upon her. It felt as if her whole entire body was being crushed in between Aernest and Euria when they take their daytime naps!
‘I can’t breathe!’
She struggled with her entire body, wanting to push the 2 awake from her.
‘Haa..’
Eugeneia felt a release. Did Aedelak and Aeselak get Euria and Aernest off me? She wondered. But before she could let her guards down, she felt a harsh breath up upon her face.
“I think she is waking up”
A deep male voice spoke out. Alarms immediately rang out in her head! She knows no one with such a voice! Shocked, she instantly opened her shut eyes open!
‘No…’

With a gaze that was hard to describe, Lark stared at his body in the mirror. Not his body as a human, but his other body. Clawed hands and feet, with a tail strong enough to crush an adult neck. 'Man. . . can I still be called a human?' In the end, with a deep sigh Lark changed his form back into a human.
