《History of the Orcs According to, The Beginning: Breath Of War》History of the Orcs - The Darker Races

In the records and annals of history, it is recorded that any creature that breathes beneath the four suns, and does not worship the Lightbearer is of the darker race and is considered to be their foremost enemy in their struggle against the dark. However, in reality the dark races is an actual reference to those who see the demons as gods of their world.
Goblins - While mostly populating the regions of Caldasher, have been known to make their homes throughout the many realms with a variety of different species among them such as the mountain goblin, forest goblin, desert goblin, snow goblin, and water goblin. In most cases the name is derived from the environment they live within and the way they have adapted to their surroundings. E.g. It’s said that mountain goblins have substantially a great deal more hair and are much sturdier.
Orcs - At the peak of their civilization, did their best to guide the world, and end the needless wars that broke out between the many races. However due to their faith in primordial demons, they were seen as heretics and therefore shunned by the lighter races. (In the case of Lord Sezarath, his prominence to power emerged at a much later date, when the orcish people were in desperate straits.)
Ogrekans - Not much is truly known about the recluse ogrekans, besides the fact that a great tragedy occurred to them once long ago and turned them into warring tribes that battled each for food and land. It is due in part to these battles, that the dark mages are able to enslave so many of their kind and turn them to the darkness. They are in some ways are a looser definition of a darker race, since they are involuntarily forced to worship the same gods as the dark mages.

Vampires - Another race deemed unworthy due to their faith in demonic deities are the vanclorens, a race of vampires who despite being well renowned scholars, poets, and the most technology advanced among all the races, are seen as the lowest of the low due to the cursed blood. As such, they are usually regarded as nothing more than animals.
Dark mages - Dark mages as a given, while notoriously known for attaching themselves to demons to gain both power and knowledge, can not wholly be seen on the spectrum as a member of the darker races, since the dark energies they wield have neither light nor darkness within them. Most who come to Island of Bloodtides simply wish to learn magic and can choose not to take part in the satanic rituals that govern most daily life. However due to their need for slaves and willingness to feed souls to demons to help further their ambitions, most dark mages are considered amongst the most prominent evils of the world.
***There are considerable many more races that have yet to be identified, but these by far are the most pronounced. Hopefully in time additional races will be added to the study. Let me know if you come with any that should be included.***

8 61Sustaining the King's Life
On a secluded mountain situated upon a kingdom known as Feuersturm, resides a seemingly trifling cabin with an unlikely duo as its inhabitant—a witch, and her apprentice who presumably comes from a clan sought after by slave traders. Faustina is a sixteen-year-old girl who fled the slave market with the help of a sickly witch named Eula, who later on trained her as an apprentice for the span of seven years. Plagued with a mysterious disease for several years, Eula died despite the efforts Faustina had exerted to cure her; in her last breath, she left an odd request behind. "Sustain the king's life. This is your duty. Do not adhere to the prophecy." To which the odd plea shadowed a bizarre series of events, a consequential sentence, similar to that of a premonition. The same night the phrase was muttered, the chain of events followed: A warlock's intrusion to their home, with a peculiar yearning to resurrect Eula from the dead... and the king himself, asking for Faustina’s aid. ** 1-2 chapters a day (GMT+8) ** (The artwork belongs to me.
