The Primes of Vancalar are what the red landers would consider to be the princes of their realm. Brought here to the world of Coroleya by their demonic overlords, they had created a small kingdom for themselves to the far west where they could worship their demonic deities in peace. Though their predilection for blood meant that they had to often trade with outsiders to help feed their growing population. Which was why they were at a loss when the dwarves with whom they had been long standing trade partners with, had stopped providing the feral dwarves they needed to sustain their isolation from the world.
Born with unusual gifts that allowed them to smell out their prey, they were able to withstand the harsh sunlight unlike their brethren on Earth and still retain their strength, speed and dexterity. Combined with this was their ability to spread their gift to thousands within a mere matter of seconds, simply by biting them and draining them past the point of death and into new life.
However due to their transformation their memories were wiped clean and they were like babes who had to relearn everything. Fortunately if a master vampire was on hand, they could be able to impart some of their own memories directly into them and turn them into the perfect warriors with only the required memories for battle instilled in their minds.
They also if they wished, could be stripped of their link to their masters, turning them into rabid, ravenous wolves that hungered for blood and flesh. Mere animals that could be basically used to act like battle fodder for wars they were certain to lose.
But even more remarkable was their ability to wield the same kind of dark magic the dark mages used and twist it to favour them.

It was due in part to the imbalance of their feeding grounds and the orcs desire to conquer every land, that they were concerned that without the other races to sell them slaves that they would be forced into a constant battle amongst themselves as they fought for the little food that was left. Especially when taking into account that due to the orc’s strange blood that had become more coagulated with Sezarath’s blessing they would no longer be able to feed once the other races had disappeared from the world. Added to which they would need to compete with the much larger orcish warhordes for the remaining survivors once this war of theirs was over. That’s if they were not destroyed first.
While they may worship some of the same gods, they too realised that the orcs had begun something that should not have been possible without the aid of something far more powerful. And feared the repercussions that this would cause, once the other demon lords realised what was happening on the surface of the world.
All of this pointed to one certain outcome. Decimation. Not only for them, but for all life on Coroleya. Which was why after the fae’lon offered them terms for alliance, the Primes of Vanclar decided it would be in their best interests to intercede while they still had a chance of ending this war.
