With the combined might of the orcish warhordes and the power of the dark mages, Lord Sezrath’s armies were unstoppable in the field. Every victory, spread their influence and brought new slaves to fill their armies. Their power the envy of the world over as faction after dark mage faction decided it would be in their best interests to join this grand conquest. Adding additional forces and towers at Warlord Magorbark’s disposal who began to see their true potential and utilised them to ferry his troops across the field. Bring in supplies to keep his army well fed and shatter enemy strongholds that had proven impregnable by force of arms.
It was with the towers, that Magorbark crushed the goblin rebellion, and put an end to any chance of the Red Lands, Open Plains, and Kahloon from ever rising again. Their power was undefeatable in the field. Every time the minotaur commanders with the aid of the fae’lon and werewolves attempted to hold back their armies, Magorbark would squash them all with overwhelming force which he slammed together around them. Not only surrounding them from all sides simultaneously, but striking them at the heart of their army with mages and shamans that could shred their armies apart.
This eventually led to a new type of warfare that relied solely upon the fae’lon, their werewolf allies and the guardians. Unable to face them directly in the field anymore, they took to the same guerilla tactics that were employed on Earth and found a way to harass orc strongholds and patrols that had been setup to begin laying out the foundations for their vast empire.
Their cities turned to rubble, their towns and villages ripped apart, the fae’lon were like rabbits, scurrying from one hole to the next in search of a place to hide, before striking forth like adders at their most vulnerable points. Still, even with their unique ability to hide themselves away using magic and fight from the shadows, this type of war of attrition did not favour them, for every orc that was lost in battle, a hundred more were sent to take their place, whereas the werewolves and fae’lon with much lower birth rates were unable to sustain such a prolonged war.

Which was why the fae’lon broached the idea of convincing the leaders of Gilgathan, Vanclar and Cryopia to join in the fight, after all, they would be next on the chopping block. However for the few minotaur lords that were still alive and fighting as best they could under the new conditions, this was unacceptable, they would not sully their greatswords by helping such foul servants of darkness.
This in turn caused a split amongst the fae’lon with some desiring to proceed without the minotaurs who were but demolished into the dust, while some refused to lose their most noble allies.
In the end it was decided that would try to formulate new strategies that would best suit the Honor Blades in battle, and find a way to eliminate Warlord Magorbark who had proven himself time and time again to be a most able commander.
Still their reticence to at least see if they could receive the help they needed to achieve victory and save their people from certain annihilation had caused irrevocable fractures among the guardians.
Months later after attempting to complete those two objectives, Magorbark was badly wounded in an assasination attempt but survived and most of the guardians had either been enslaved or wiped out.
With nothing left to lose, but their pride, they finally reached out to the three kingdoms. The response from Gilgathan was swift, their messenger torn apart and thrown into the sea. Cyropia, content to remain out of the war, declared they would not ally themselves with such weakness, while much to their surprise, the Primes of Vanclar were willing to listen, so long as they were willing to offer something in exchange.

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
