Monsters
Silvertooth wolf: a very common type of monster that is usually found in forests. It is sometimes seen roaming the plains in very numerous packs, this happens when the inhabitants of the land either cut down too much forest or relentlessly hunt the wolves. It also happens when a creature strong enough to jeopardize the safety of the pack decides to inhabit their habitat.
This monster is just slightly different from it’s animal counterpart. The biggest difference can be found in the teeth and claws of it. Those teeth and claws are of a brilliant silver-like colour, that’s where the name comes from, and are both sturdier and sharper than normal ones. Both teeth and claws are collected and turned into either beauty objects or trophies like amulets and jewels, or they are used in alchemy and for some magic wands crafting.
Two more characteristics differentiate those monsters from the normal wolves. First it’s the fact that they are slightly bigger than normal wolves, their average height would be around the meter while their size could go from a meter and a half to a meter and eighty. The last difference it’s the colour of their fur. For the vast majority of those monsters it’s colour comes in some tonalities of black but there are some exceptions like variants and alphas. Their fur is used to make clothes, especially capes or pants, since their resistance to cold comes in handy.
Alphas and variants are Silvertooth wolves who underwent modifications or slight evolutions. In the case of alphas it’s evolutions. Those usually happen when a wolf lives for a long span of time while eating stronger monsters and, possibly, humans. The monster’s body undergoes some changes that increases its size, height and adds to the black colored fur a shade of crimson. On the other hand variants are monsters born “defective”. There is no rule applying to variants since their defectiveness could be shown in their size, strength, fur colour, ecc. In general, variants should be considered slightly stronger than their counterparts.
While a single Silvertooth wolf is considered to be a stone tier monster, a pack of them rises to the level of iron tier due to their high level of coordination. If in the pack is also present an alpha and/or one or more variants the level could be raised to bronze tier.
Nomad bears: a bear-like monster that inhabits forests, especially deep and cold ones. It’s appearance is that of a normal bear but what makes him deadly is the thick fur that covers its body. Other than being extremely thick and granting protection against cold temperatures, it’s fur has defensive properties against both magic and physical attacks. The protection is indeed on the low tier but it’s nonetheless troublesome for inexperienced adventurers. Because of those qualities it’s fur is highly requested from merchants and tailors in order to make robes, capes and other pieces of clothing.
The nomad bear, as the name suggests, likes to roam between places. Because of that it’s very unlikely to find more than two bears hunting together. It has a strong sense of family and when the female is about to give birth and right after, is when the nomad bear is most dangerous.
Nomad bears can be differentiated from their animal counterparts by their glimmering red eyes and their aggressive behaviour towards any other creature. The nomad bear is considered an iron tier monster. There have been no recorded cases of a variant.
Chameleon red lizard: a widely spread monster across all the continents. It’s only preference regarding habitats is the presence of shade and places to hide. The most common places that those monsters are found are deep forests, large caves, sewers and canyons. It’s appearance is that of a big lizard with a two meter size (from head to tail), four short legs with three fingers equipped with suckers, protruding eyes and a long forked tongue. It’s skin is of a red and yellow colour (with red as the prevalent colour) without any scales or any means of protection. The way this monster fights is extremely dangerous for both experienced and inexperienced adventurers without a proper scout. The chameleon red lizard is able to turn invisible thanks to its innate magic. While being unnoticed it is able to sneak up on its prey and kill it with it’s deadly poison contained in it’s sharp teeth.

The only valuable thing obtained from killing a chameleon red lizard is it’s skin, which is used to tailor precious pieces of clothing such as hats, gloves, shoes and so on. Unfortunately it is not possible to harness the invisibility of the monster so those pieces of clothing are just for aesthetic purposes.
The chameleon red lizard is a lone hunter and it’s rank is that of an iron tier monster.
Tree turtle: a monster that vaguely resembles a turtle. It has a height of two and a half meters and a size of roughly three meters, four chubby legs, a long neck, a short tail and a sturdy shell. This monster’s main feature is that it's completely made of roots. On top of the shell grows a tree that is where this monster takes its height from. From this tree everything else is generated: legs, head, neck, basically the animal itself. But be warned, do not mistake the tree for an external “being”. Tree, shell and turtle are parts of the same creature. Because the tree turtle is completely made by roots it’s colour is that of a brown and green mixture, perfectly belding in within the forest, their natural habitat.
This monster is particularly tricky to fight. It focuses mainly on defence without paying much regard to attacking. This stimulates it’s attackers to switch into a more aggressive form of super close quarters type of strategy. This is where the monster attacks. Being able to manipulate its roots to a certain extent it is able to create spikes strong enough to penetrate through chain armors and low-grade iron armors. This monster isn’t able to use any kind of magic, except for some recorded cases of variants who were able to manipulate the terrain close to them in a way similar to earth magic.
The only harvestable material from the tree turtle’s corpse is the so-called “tree’s soul”. A gem that has many utilities in alchemy.
While it has happened, even though only rare cases have been recorded, that the tree turtle hunts in pairs, this monster normally roams alone. The tree turtle is classified as an iron tier monster. Though it’s variant counterpart is considered a bronze tier monster.
Razorsharp croco: A monster that resembles a crocodile. It’s size is about two meters from head to tail. It has four short legs and a long tail, all its body is covered in sturdy green scales. The particularity about this monster is that his tail has special scales that are harder than iron and as sharp as a sword. It uses his tail as his main weapon, defendinding himself with its scales in other parts of the body. One hit can be enough to injure a well trained hunter and kill an inexperienced one.
The scales on the tail are very requested from armorsmiths since they can be used as parts of armor, shields and other weapons. It’s other scales can be used too but are less requested than the tail ones.
The razorsharp croco usually lives near bodies of water like lakes and rivers, especially if it's humid. It usually hunts alone but it's not rare to find entire groups of them in lakes. If alone this monster is considered an iron tier but in groups he raises to the level of a bronze tier.
Firestep tiger: it looks just like a normal tiger except for it’s height of two meters and the longer fangs. It usually lives in forests and mountains but there have also been sightings of it roaming the plains between the kingdoms. The name firestep tiger comes from the fact that this monster is able to create shockwaves of fire from its feet. The range of those shockwaves depends solely on the ability and age of the monster. It has been stated that younger tigers are unable to use fire so they fight relying only on physical strength. Fur, fangs and claws are all harvested and sold to create pieces of clothing, jewelry and are also used in alchemy.

The alpha is way bigger than the normal monster, far stronger and has two tails. Other than being able to spread fire with it’s steps it is also able to breathe fire. Another difference is that the colour of the fur changes from orange and black to red and black. Also, this applies to both types of monsters, the fur is able to defend against some physical attacks and magic ones. This defence increases when the monster becomes an alpha.
The normal firestep tiger is a silver tier monster while it’s alpha counterpart is a gold one.
Black Ogre Demigod: ??????
Cities
Migur west/Migur est: a pair of twin cities built near the seacoast in the south side of the War Lands (or Blank Lands). Their main means of prosperity is related to the sea, thanks to it they were able to become one of the main centers related to fishing. There have been some hints of commerce in recent times, but it’s still too difficult for them to make an appearance in the scene of commerce, except for the trade of fish and sea products. Both cities are also productive in regards to agriculture thanks to the shared wheat fields, unfortunately the quantity is only enough for self-sustaining so trade is impossible. Both cities have their own ruler and their own military but it’s not a rare occurrence for a joint military operation if it is about the subjugation of monsters in the “Red forest”. The majority of the population is composed of humans but other species such as elves and beastman are well welcomed, even though in recent times it’s becoming rare to see one of those two races.
Fortenova: a city many times wealthier and bigger than Migur. This is due to it’s vicinity to the border of the Kingdom of Hadoc and the island of Marin where Fort Marin is located. Because of the vicinity with those two, the city has developed a great trading route and became one of the main actors on the commerce scene. Many nobles from the Kingdom of Hadoc come to this city to establish a secondary source of income or to amplify one already existent. Also, again because of its vicinity, Fortenova has developed an advanced military, since the possibility of being the target of expansion from Hadoc is fairly high. Agriculture and fishing are practiced for the self-sustaining of the city. Fortenova is also a renewed tourist destination thanks to it’s wide and rich market.
Alamaria: one of the biggest cities of the War Lands as well as it’s pulsing heart. If this territory was united and had a capital, that role would be taken by Alamaria. The city is more on the north-west side of the War Lands, it’s both close to the mountains at north and one of the biggest lakes, the “Halfmoon Lake”, south. The city itself is relatively safe due to the fact that the closest country, the Belza Kingdom, would have to climb over or go around a whole mountain range called “Small Giant’s belt”. The main sources of income of Almaria is trading, agriculture (even though in the three winter months it becomes non-existent) and mining. Thanks to the Halfmoon lake the city also does some self-sustaining fishing. The city hosts the only magic academy in the whole War Lands and a fairly renowned dojo of the North Sword style. In Alamaria there is an abundance of humans but is also the place where the majority of other races gather, since it’s considered one of the safest cities.
Author’s Notes
Hey, it's Ketsu here! First of all I wanna thank each and every one of you who keep reading my chapters. Some of you have been here since the very beginning while others just started recently but that’s not what matters to me, just the fact that some of you take the time to drop a comment, correct my (painfully) wrong grammar, ask questions or criticize something...that is enough for me. As I have already stated, I’m not here searching for success (if it naturally comes, then it’s more than welcome though), I’m here mostly to challenge myself. I’ve had soooo many ideas of character, places, adventures, villains and everything since I was little and I’ve finally decided to put some order to those ideas and try to put them on paper. Doing so I hope to make you pass some nice and interesting twenty minutes or so a week and maayybe spark curiosity in your hearts in regards to what's to come in the story. So basically now that we’ve reached the end of the first (of many) volumes it feels like I've just overcome the first milestone, and honestly I’m very satisfied with my results. Of course I don’t intend to slack off now! I still have to improve my writing style and all but it feels really good to see the number of stars and readers slowly increasing.
And now SERVICE COMMUNICATION: I’m not really sure how it goes in other countries but twitter here in Italy is not used very much, nonetheless I’ve made a twitter account some time ago so if you feel like asking question directly without having to comment here or just to read some news about Unwillingly Reborn then you are more than welcome to follow! (link in my bio)
Fun fact: I tried to add drawings to the encyclopedia but it turns out that I have the same ability as a three years old in terms of drawing. I’m ashamed to say this but my representation of the “Firestep tiger” seemed more like a mixture between an elephant and a cat. Even though I was so pumped up since I had the full map of the world already laid down and drawn(poorly) I forced myself not to add it since I’ve seen others who post maps or drawing and, well….mine sucked. SO PLEASE FORGIVE THIS FOOLISH ME!
I hope that you all will keep on supporting me like you’ve done until now and have fun reading my chapters from here on. Also, I hope you are ready for the next volume “Mage among mages”, because new characters will be introduced and with them will come new friends, new allies, new enemies and, who knows, maybe new loves! Until next saturday!

Extract from the histories of Hogenbach, written by the grand historian and self-proclaimed drunkard Gregor Meinzt. "Ah Hogenbach, a crumbling shithole of a kingdom situated in the arse end of nowhere. A land of rolling hills, cold winters and home to a population of short and bitter people. A terrible land. Yet it is here that the greatest calamity of the modern realm took place. It was here that the writhing dungeon was born. Some call Viktor Grieswald a hero, others curse the name. And yet fewer still know him for what he truly was. His was a sad existence, made to shoulder the burdens of an entire realm. He helped, he harmed and he left a trail of destruction in his wake, he will always be my friend. But know this, whatever your opinion on the man, nay the monster is, one thing is true. The world will never be the same after his presence, we made sure of that." AN: Alright, this is a dark fantasy dungeon story without the use of reincarnated characters or a system. Yes, I tagged it litRPG as it uses game elements, no these do not include a status screen. Read onwards if you dare.

Guerdon
The sheer vastness of the planes of reality meant that if a combination of laws is stable enough, then it probably exists. The protagonist encounters one such stranger than fiction world that he has a hard time wrapping his head around. He is left alone in an Alien Reality. To him survival isn't the most important after all that he had been through, but he refuses defeat in his pursuit to understand the strange reality he finds himself in. Join this journey of his new story in finding out the answers and secrets of this world. I like this Genre to put it bluntly but I've always found that illogical 'Science' and flawed laws of the world, typical in these stories. So, I've decided to fix that. I have tried my best to make weirdness make sense in this World filled with Magic. Short of simulating them to verify, the laws of this new world should make some reasonable sense and will be consistent (As much as I humanely can keep it that way). This might mean my story might vary in it's progression speed but as a compensation, I promise to have a lot more sensible Cliffhangers if I must put them in. Also, I'm not a big fan of over using vocabulary when telling a story. So, My Language will be very unsophisticated. Hope that's not a putoff. So, Enjoy your reading!
