Though it pains me to offer this statement instead of the weekly chapter, this is something I can’t put off anymore. Briefly, juggling my personal obligations and writing on the side has been a challenge of late, and I’ve been feeling the strain from attempting to maintain a consistent level of quality on a weekly basis. To be completely candid, I’m very far from my eventual goal of being a full time writer, usually allocating only one or two days of the week to each release. Many times I end up writing up a chapter all at once before a deadline, resulting in typos and uneven prose from chapter to chapter.

These difficulties shouldn’t be blown out of proportions and for the moment I don’t envision making a change to my weekly release rate; however, it appears that I’m overdue for a break to recharge and ensure that this book gets the finale it deserves, and also to give my secondary fiction more attention as well. Accordingly, I’ll be taking a week off and changing the Thursday release day to Saturday, meaning that Chapter 59 will release on August 28th, nine days from now.

My apologies to those who were looking forward to a chapter tonight, and for this easily preventable failure. Despite this setback I hope you’ll continue to anticipate the conclusion to this book as much as I look forward to writing it.
