《Grandpa Sweet Fist》Part 17- Heavenly Association of Villainous Entertainment

“So, let me get this straight,” Victor began. “Villainy is now a respected profession?”
Sitting across him, on the other side of a large table, was a young woman. Dressed in a respectful brown business suit, she looked just like any other young energetic female professional. Only she works at The Heavenly Association of Villainous Entertainment.
“Not quite respected,” the perky young woman said. “But we are slowly getting there. Here is my card.”
The young woman handed Victor a business card that reads, and Victor couldn’t believe what was written on it; ‘Candice Manford, Supervillain Agent’!
“A supervillain a … agent?”
“Yes! I know I’m young, but don’t worry Mr. Fist. Over here at H.A.V.E, we work in a team, and if you sign with us, our team of agents, publicists, web designers, and media influencers will do whatever it takes to bring you to the next level of villainous exposure. Now, I know you are already a big name, but you have been out of the game for some time. Rest assured though that H.A.V.E will be able to introduce you to the new generation of kids who have never heard of either the Candy Crew, or the Candy Crisis. What do you think of The Fist who Would Not Talk!”
“The Fist who would not what?”
“The Fist who Would Not Talk! Villains need a title, or a catchphrase. Something catchy to grab the attention of the public, and our PR department believes this will do great!”
“I just walked in.”
“And what an entrance it was!” Candice exclaimed. “I have never seen anything like it.”
Neither had Victor. After getting directions from Bar, Victor decided to check out H.A.V.E. Arriving early in the morning, Victor found that the local branch of the company was a gigantic silver building that was several hundreds of meters tall. Reading on-line, it seems that H.A.V.E had the ten-floor office building in Velocity City all to themselves. ‘A Company for Villainy’; that was the company logo!

The majestic building was surrounded by greenery and appeared to be extremely busy. Victor had staked out the building and saw crowds of people moving in and out. A company that caters to villains and owns an entire building in downtown Velocity City? It was unbelievable!
After a few hours of the useless stake-out, Victor decided to take the plunge and went in. Right at the entrance was a sign that proudly proclaim the company’s logo. Victor walked pass it in amazement and entered the lobby of the building. Several gorgeous and elegant decorations dotted the center of the huge lobby, and there was a huge metal door at the end of the lobby. Victor saw more than a few guards in suits walking around and couldn’t help but murmured.
“At least they are not total idiots.”
A company that caters to villains must have enemies. Victor looked around and saw numerous escalators to his left. The escalators connect the ground floor to different higher levels and on his right was a large crowd of youths. They were crowding around several people dressed in costumes. There was a woman in a cowl with a crossbow strapped to her back; someone in a black shiny power armour; a man who looked like a werewolf; and a team of people who were dressed like bikers. Supervillains! Victor didn’t recognize any of them but that wasn’t too surprising considering how young they all …
“Holy villainy! The Sweet Fist!”
Someone in the crowd shouted and the crowd turned. Victor saw their stares and for a moment felt like a meal that was about to be devoured by a group of ravenous dinner guests. Then he saw the looks of the villains. They looked annoyed. Then their face changed. It was as if they finally registered the face. The young villains knew who Victor was, and instead of being angry that he had taken the crowd’s attention away, they had looks of admiration and respect.

The crowd surged and Victor was surrounded. Everyone was touching him. Several notepads were shoved in his face. People were shouting.
“It’s the Sweet Fist!”
“Sign this!”
“Oh my god!”
Victor was still wondering what was going on when he saw a hand grabbed someone in the crowd and pushed him back. It was the group of bikers! They surrounded Victor, pushing against the crowd to give him space. The other young villains joined in, and soon a path appeared before Victor. The young woman with the crossbow greeted Victor.
“Mr. Sweet Fist. Sir, this way please!”
The path the villains made led to the back of the lobby where the metal door was located. Victor saw that the security guards had joined in to control the crowd. Victor nodded his thanks to the cowled woman and walked hurriedly to the door. When he stepped in front of the door, a beam of red light fell down, shining upon him. It was scanning him and before long, a robotic voice was heard.
“Scan is complete. No communicator deducted. Checking public database for match. Identity verified! Victor Volkov, The Sweet Fist. Non-affiliated supervillain.”
The door opened, and Victor stepped through it, arriving at another spacious lobby. An employee of the company quickly arrived and ushered Victor to a meeting room on the third floor. Candice Manford came soon after. She was very pleased to see him, and she has been trying to get Victor to sign with H.A.V.E since. Victor shook his head at the memory. He looked at the young woman and just had to ask.
“What does a supervillain agent exactly do? In fact, how can this company even exist? This can’t be legal, right?”

The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction. Just a Rock
There was once a writer that felt like creating a story about a rock. A rock so amazing that its story just needed to be told. How amazing? Not amazing at all, on the contrary, quite ordinary. Don't believe me? Then read on. Edit: Resumed the story. Can’t do any more audio versions for now. I plan on editing some of the now non-applicable author notes and maybe rearranging the two side stories or combining them with the deleted chapters.
