“They're all there.” Raz announces, gesturing to the house.
“How many?” Taylor asks.
“Just five. You go ahead. I'll stay here with Jesse.” He says with a smile, hoping Taylor would take the hint.
Jesse shrugs when Taylor looks, intending to follow the flow.
“Ugh. Fine. But don't wander too far; you're my ride home.” He says before walking to the house.
“No promises!” Raz calls out with a laugh.
Jesse smirks. Boys. They're all the some. She thinks, unimpressed.
…
…
Taylor kicks the door in and walks into the living room. Two dudes look up from the couch. “Who the fuck are you?” The dude closer to Taylor asks.
“You guys are cultivating in restricted territory. I’m here to clear out the vagrants, or the bums; whatever.” He says without a care.
The other dude smirks. “Says who? You better fuck off, my friend. My master is upstairs and he’s on the fifth stage. You better scram before it’s too late.” He says with confidence.
Taylor smirks. “Call him down. I guess we can talk it out.” Taylor says with a smile.
The dude sighs. “You asked for it. Master! Some random dude wants to kick us out!” He calls out.
Steps were heard and a voice calls out, “Stop yelling. I’m not deaf.” A voice says casually.
A man appears at the top of the stairs; walking down, in no hurry.
“Who’s this?” He asks as he approaches the ground floor.
“Taylor. I’m reclaiming the territory assigned by the cultivation association.” He says, also unhurried.
“Damn. So you guys finally came. How many are you moving in? I’m sure we can share.” He says, hoping to talk it out. If the association was behind it, there wasn’t really much they could do, but he wasn’t one to back down from a fight. I’d rather not have to look for a new place to stay… He thinks, determined to make a stand.

“Unfortunately there’s a shit ton of them. I’d avoid it if I could but unfortunately I’m a little responsible for them.” He says with a shrug.
The other man also shrugs. “Sorry friend. You’re going to have to fight me for it.” He says, preparing to scrap.
Taylor sighs. “Alright, man. Whatever you say.” He says as he relaxes his shoulders. “Let’s dance, bitch.” He says before lunging forward.
Suddenly Taylor’s legs lock and he collapses onto the ground on his face. “Fuck.” He exclaims. What happened? He wonders as he gets up. The other man gives him a weird look and Taylor ignores it before lunging again and throwing a fist. But his arm and body once again locked into place, hovering before the other man’s face. “What the fuck?” He exclaims again, wondering why his body was messing with him before looking to the man and a thought crosses his mind. “Fuck.” He exclaims, getting the gist. “Don’t tell me you guys are good people.” He says with a deadpan expression.

Summary A new baby is born into a fantasy world, and that baby is named Lakshman Chand, whose nickname is Lucky. The story follows as the boy encounters many different things along his growth and embarks on a journey to uncover the mysteries of his past and discover his destiny. Note from Author Hello, readers. This is a rewrite of the original Phoenix Rising that I had started way back in 2014 and am still going with over 500 chapters. I am rewriting from scratch on this one because, when I looked back at the earlier chapters, I found out that I had made a lot of mistakes, plot holes that went unexplained, and links missing between events. That's why, I've decided to write from the beginning with a new vision of improving the story, bridging the missing links, and change our certain events happened to make a much better story than the original. So, I thank each and every one of you for giving this story a chance, and I hope that you will come to like it. Please do leave comments down in each chapter to give me possible feedback or any suggestions for me to improve my story on. I gladly accept all advices from my readers and promise I will adapt to the best I possible could with the vision I have for this story. Phoenix Rising: Wikia

Lord of cauldrons
A man reincarnated to a world where cultivation ruled supreme. One were even practices like human cauldrons and dual cultivation was commonplace and a part of the culture. What was not commonplace was treating these cauldrons with any ounce of respect or affection. These cauldrons were like pills or potions to be used and consumed or thrown away. They were often just a stepping stone in one's immortal path. One man thought, "What if they were my immortal path." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My chinese knowledge is limited to wuxia/xianxia books and cultivator games and I will only follow it loosely, I have my own cultivation system which will be basis for this story The reason I am writing this is because I have yet to find a dual cultivation story that has something I really wanted to read. Using the 'cauldrons' like Pokémon and the 'cauldrons' being the main source of power. I will update this at a minimum of once per week.
