《Old Cultivation Record》Chapter 59 - Convince My Dad

“What the fuck are you doing, Taylor? Teaching the kids to cultivate? Are you trying to incite a rebellion?” Hanz asks, his face resting on his hand. He was not amused, but he was bored and curious.
Taylor chuckles. “The waves will continue to push forward no matter what we do, Hanz. There's no way they'll escape their contract but I might as well give them a little gift for their participation.” He says, unconcerned for the consequences.
Hanz sighs. The reason isn't bad, I guess. He thinks, a little amused. “Taylor, that's 30 or so people you're teaching to cultivate. Have you considered the cultivation association? There’s not enough space for them in the cultivation world. You should have at least sent out a request to start taking in disciples.” Hanz says, stating the situation.
Taylor’s eyes widen. Fuck, I forgot about that. He thinks, forgetting to consider the matter. “Ah, fuck. Well, what can you do. The deed is done. What’s a few loose cultivators?” He says, trying to sound nonchalant, but anxiety was slowly creeping up on him.
Hanz chuckles, seeing Taylor’s discomfort. “That’s more than a few, Taylor. Once they’re discovered, they’ll be traced to you. You might as well stop what you’re doing. Or you could come clean to the association. It’s up to you.” Hanz says, curious what Taylor would decide to do.
“Fuck.” Taylor exclaims. “I’ll give them a call.” He says in defeat.
…
…
“This is the cultivation association. How may I help you today?” A cheerful voice asks over the phone.
“Ugh…” Taylor hums, not quite sure how to explain it. “I, ugh… Well, I messed up. I was hoping for the association to offer some guidance.” He says, intending to be honest about the situation.

“What exactly is the issue, sir?” The lady asks, trying to sound helpful.
“I introduced like 30 people to cultivation and they intend to continue cultivating. I have a territory in Oceanview city, and I guess my previous territory in Violet Hill is still technically assigned to me, but that could fit like 10 people max, and I’m not sure how it will work out when they all begin to advance.” He says, explaining his predicament.
“I see.” The lady says, not quite sure how to handle the situation. “I’m going to transfer you to my supervisor. Please hold.” She finally says.
“Okay.” He says, waiting as music starts to play.
“Hello, this is Fred, customer service supervisor for the cultivation association. How can I assist you today?” He asks over the phone.
“Ugh… I recently introduced a bunch of people to cultivation…” Taylor says, continuing to explain his situation.
“Hmm… I’ll have to transfer you to the Director of Energy Management. Please hold…” He says before music begins to play once more.
Taylor sighs. Hopefully this gets resolved… He thinks, looking for a way out. I really want to get this over with… He thinks before beginning to hum along to the music.
“This is Gregory, Director of Energy Management. Mr. Taylor Murphy, I presume?” A man says over the phone.
“Yes.” Taylor says.
“Your situation has been explained to me. There isn’t really much we can do about it. Your disciples have to stop their cultivation. Although the war has cleared up a lot of room with loses of cultivators on both sides of the war, your disciples in particular are not currently high enough on the cultivation association’s list of eligible cultivators. As a fifth stage cultivator you are allotted 5 disciples who are eligible to cultivate under you. The situation is a little different currently and we’re willing to bend the rules considering the situation but we could only allow 10 max, let alone 30 some-odd disciples.” Gregory says, explaining what the association was willing to do.

“Damn.” Taylor says, his mind processing for possible solutions. “What if I was a sixth stage cultivator?” He asks, probing for information.
“A sixth stage cultivator would allow you 8 disciples. But we’re willing to bend it to 15.” He responds.
“Okay. Hmm…” Taylor says, mulling over what he could do. Should I dump them on, Johan? Taylor asks himself before shaking his head. Don’t be a bitch, Taylor. Stop running to daddy Johan for everything. He thinks before pausing in realization. Daddy? Does my dad have a territory assigned to him? As far as I know, he has been living under the radar in Johan’s territory with no intention to continue cultivating. Taylor wonders to himself.
“I’m not sure if you know my father? I was wondering if he had a territory assigned to him? Or how many disciples is allotted to a seventh stage cultivator?” He asks.
“A seventh stage cultivator would be allotted 15 disciples, but in this case we would allow 20. As for whether he has a territory, let me have a look…” He says before the sound of typing is heard in the background. “Your father has a territory assigned in the mother continent. It is quite sizeable and the energy seems sufficient enough for 20 disciples.” Gregory says, reading out the information. “If your father is willing to accept the rest of the disciples, the association is willing to allow it with his consent.” He says, hoping to conclude the matter.
“Awesome.” Taylor says with a smile. Now to convince my dad. He thinks with a chuckle.

Mana World - Convergence
The story is complete it was a prototype and it is BAD.I do not recommend reading it, I will not edit it in any form, it is still here as a personal remained of how bad I was at the start. Mages are soo cool but without mana you can't become a mage. Well let's see how we can get mana to this world. I'm sure it would be a perfectly safe and excellent idea. First try at writing something like this. Dunno if I will update constantly or not, dunno what will happen with the story and the characters. Recipe: 3 cubic meters of science, 5 shit tons of pseudo science, 2 dantians of mistycism,1/2 cup of stupid references, 1 package of sarcasm, 1/400 tolkien epicness, 1 tea spoon of stupid commentaries, a pinch of craziness and dressed with randomness, uppps, too much randomness. Accepting all kinds of constructive criticism. Well prologue is finished.
