《Old Cultivation Record》Chapter 59 - Dumb Look On His Face

“There's my little bro!” Maggie says with open arms and a smile.
Taylor smiles bitterly and moves to hug Maggie at the door. Taylor held on for a moment before he felt Maggie's body looking to exit the hug. Nope. Since you're going to tease me, you might as well let me enjoy myself. Taylor thinks with a lewd grin. Fuck, these things are huge. And my god. They're so soft. Fuck, she smells so nice too. Taylor continues to think, getting lost in his arousal.
“Okay, little buddy. You've had your fun. Uh-oh, is that your wife coming?” Maggie says casually, causing Taylor to snap out of it and let go before looking around. Taylor saw that no one was there before looking at Maggie and seeing her ever-present teasing smile.
Taylor lets out a sigh. You win this time, big sis. But I don't think I lost out on that exchange either. Taylor thinks, already reminiscing about his recently acquired memories. Tonight's going to be a good night. Taylor thinks, his mind already making plans to settle these feelings with Sylvie later.
“Honey! Maggie's here!” Taylor calls out to Sylvie in the other room.
Maggie shakes her head in feigned disappointment. “No hesitation, no guilt. I never knew you were so cold-blooded, Taylor.” She says, a little unsure of how to feel about Taylor's loose expressions.
“Good thing you came by to warm me up then.” Taylor responds naturally.
Maggie's mouth opens wide, some shock on her face. “How far are you willing to go for this joke, I wonder?” She asks honestly curious.
“How far are you willing to let me?” Taylor asks back, pushing the envelope. He could feel that he was walking on dangerous territory, but he very much didn't want to back down. It was his natural response while in Maggie's presence; unfortunately she was just… irresistible.
Maggie's mouth continues to hang open, feeling a little flushed, and unsure of how this was going to move forward. “You know, Taylor, if you keep walking by the river, your feet are bound to get wet. Don't push me too far, or we'll both be forced to do something we can't take back.” Maggie says, seriousness in her voice.

Taylor immediately gulps down saliva. Fuck, she just gave me the go-ahead. At this point it's not on her if anything goes down. Fuck, I'm going to have to be the responsible one. Maybe I could push a little further… Oh shit. Taylor thinks before feeling a sudden impulse. “I have to go to the bathroom.” Taylor says, not bothering to look at Maggie and immediately turning around to find the bathroom and ‘relieve’ himself.
Maggie lets out a light chuckle, before taking a moment to breath and fan herself with her hand. Since when did he become such a charmer. She thinks, some heat still lingering in her body. I might have to use the bathroom too… She thinks before moving to find Sylvie.
…
…
“More and more people are beginning to turn. We originally thought that this would be over within the year and that the Mountain Climbers would no longer be a threat after the world turned on them. But people are beginning to switch sides. It looks like a war is coming. Hanz Riverman will likely become the first Vampire King the world has seen in several millenia.” Maggie begins to explain the news, her original intention in coming to visit.
“Fuck.” Taylor exclaims, his eyes naturally drawn to Maggie as the words left his mouth. A blush appears on his face and he clears his throat before continuing. “There are still people who are able to face him, right? It's not like he’s going to become the uncrowned king of the supernatural world, right? There must be other 8th stage opponents to keep him in check.” Taylor assumes; he refused to believe that the world would end just because someone happened to reach the 8th stage. He didn't doubt the power behind the 8th stage, but he also didn't doubt natural law and the world's ability to keep things in balance.
“There are other 8th stage supernatural beings on this world. But many of them are very old. Most of them rose to that level during the great tribulation 2000 years ago. Since then there has hardly been any stimulation to push anyone that high.” Maggie explains.

“And as for who will decide to face Hanz, that's another question. I don't think anyone of those old fogeys would be willing to take the risk. I know for sure the Matriarch is going to stay out of it.” Sylvie says, peeling a banana to snack on.
“The Matriarch? Who’s that?” Taylor asks, his hand reaching over and pinching the end of Sylvie's banana to eat.
Sylvie gives Taylor a disgruntled look before taking a big bite, so Taylor would have less time to steal more.
“She's the matriarch of our family. She also came into power 2000 years ago. She’s the reason our family has been able to grow so large in power and influence.” Maggie explains, smiling at the two's little interactions. “Speaking of which; I see you've made it to the fourth stage, Taylor. It might be time you become better acquainted with our family.” Maggie says, planning to introduce Taylor to the family business.
“Oh?” Taylor says with a smirk. “In what way?” He says, not even trying to be sneaky.
Maggie scowls at him. “What was that?” She asks aggressively. Maggie was getting pretty excited from Taylor's little taunts, and at this point, if she didn't find release she might resort to violence.
Taylor's face immediately goes blank. “I mean, there shouldn't be any need to get more involved with the family than I already am, right?” Taylor says awkwardly, chuckling in a weird manner while hoping for the moment to pass.
Sylvie looks to Taylor and gives him a suspicious look. Something's going on here… She immediately realizes before looking to Maggie. Maggie looks at her and gives her a quick nod causing Sylvie's eyes to widen. This naughty boy! Making moves behind my back! I'll have to get more details later, and also prepare his punishment… Sylvie thinks to herself, her mind wandering to other cruel but sensual possibilities.
“The family is involved in many aspects of the supernatural world. It would be good for you to get a better understanding of it, in case you ever find yourself requiring their assistance.” Maggie explains with a sigh. Unfortunately she had to prepare for a long talk with her sister. What a shame too. I was kind of hoping he would have time to push further… I was really hoping to… Make a mistake… Maggie thinks, letting out another hot breath. It's going to be another lonely night with my toys, I guess. She continues to think, wondering if it was time to get back into the dating game. Since her youth, the passion for it seems to have faded. That is until Taylor… The situation and setting for a possible encounter is exactly what would make it worth it. Unfortunately she was a responsible girl, and family had always been first for her. In another life, my sweet Taylor. Maggie thinks, her mind now lost in sweet fantasies.
Sylvie gives Maggie a weird look before looking back to Taylor with some anger. “Look what you did to my sister. You beast!” Sylvie says with honest anger. As she saw that look on Maggie's face, she realized that she might allow a few things to happen tonight that she would have never expected herself to allow. She gives Taylor one last scowl, thinking, you lucky little shit, before grabbing Maggie's hand to explain a few things in another room.
Taylor looks on blankly, oblivious to what he caused. Why do I feel like I hit the jackpot? Taylor thinks with a dumb look on his face.
