《Old Cultivation Record》Chapter 52 - That's Wild

When they got onto the plane, Jesse's face was still blushing, but Taylor ignored her and closed his eyes. He couldn’t help but feel that they somehow knew each other intimately, and he would become slightly aroused just from looking at her.
Taylor sighs after taking a seat and closing his eyes. I just need a moment. Taylor thinks, attempting to ignore any thoughts concerning Jesse. She's like an elf; so pretty and innocent. It really makes a dude want to defile her. Taylor thinks, making weird jumps in logic.
Eventually Taylor went to sleep. When he awoke Benson and Jesse had their eyes closed.
Taylor looks over to the seat beside him and little Johnny still had his eyes open, curiously looking back at Taylor.
Taylor smiles, and pats the kid on the head causing the child to smile and laugh.
“Why be horny when I have you, kid?” Taylor says with a chuckle. He was still awkward around his own kid. He never had any younger brothers and sisters and as he grew older he would avoid kids younger than him like the plague, especially babies. Until that day in the delivery room, Taylor had yet to hold a baby in his arms. All he could think was, that's wild.
Even now, he couldn't quite get into the habit of speaking properly to his kid, and he certainly couldn't do the baby voice. Taylor had naturally been treating his own kid as a bro. Bro, you pissed your pants? That's gross. Or something like, Man, you had airplane food the other day; why don't you try some race car food?
Sylvie thought it was weird but she didn't stop him. If that's how you want to raise your kid, then go ahead. Just don't blame me when ‘bro' becomes his first word. She said previously.

Taylor didn't care though. If he grows up weird, he grows up weird. Still my kid at the end of the day. He previously said with a hint of pride.
Taylor sighs after a quick glance at his past. Sorry bitch, I'm taken. Taylor couldn’t help but think to himself. If Jesse somehow heard this thought, she would no doubt snort in disdain. There was nothing between them, but Taylor still had to ease his natural impulses.
…
…
It wasn't long before Benson opened his eyes. He took a moment to yawn before looking at Taylor.
“So, how was the trip. I thought you’d be right back, but for some reason you stayed the night.” Benson says with an evil grin, hoping for some gossip.
“You're losing it. There's no way that would happen. Do you know this bitch put a knife to my throat?” Taylor asks, his face having a hint of his disbelief.
“Oh, shit? You guys used knives? That's wild man. I can only imagine what you do with your wife.” Benson says, unhindered by any decorum.
Taylor picks up the paper cup next to him and throws it at Benson's face. “Idiot. Nothing happened. I'm pretty sure Johan would kill me if I made a move on his precious Jesse.” Taylor says with a smirk.
“That’s true. Although I've never seen it get that far, he does tend to be overprotective of women. And anyone with a daddy kink seem drawn to him; like a bunch of flies looking for honey.” Benson says with a shake of his head.
“What's with her martial arts clothes, anyways? Is it like a sect or school thing?” Taylor asks, talking just to pass the time.
“What? Nah. She teaches martial arts to kids. That was her job.” Benson says, explaining what he knew.

“What? Why doesn't she make money like a normal cultivator? And why is she living in a shack?” Taylor asks. Now that he thought about it, this chick was pretty weird for a cultivator.
“Oh, she's planting karma seeds in those kids.” Benson explains, watching as confusion appears on Taylor's face. “You wouldn't understand. It's part of the dao that her and her late master cultivated. They're kind of like Masters of Karma. Or maybe this one is a Junior Master of Karma. But they fight their battles years before it begins. They plant karma seeds, and when they're in need, fate is always ready to give them a helping hand.” Benson explains, some amazement in his voice.
“What, so they're like master manipulators?” Taylor asks, still confused.
“What?” Benson exclaims, looking offended. “Why do you have to make everything so dark, man? It's not manipulation, it's fate. They don't manipulate anything; they only give things the opportunity to grow in certain directions. They're like gardeners.” Benson tries to say, not quite expressing what he meant.
“Oh.” Taylor responds, trying to feign understanding. “That's wild.” He says with a blank expression.
Benson could only shake his head.

QQQQ
Have you ever noticed that the letter Q is unnecessary? It doesn't provide any function to the language. Any word spelled with it could just as easily be spelled with other letters. Does that mean it shouldn't exist? Of course not. In this universe, everything has a place. Cosmic balance, Karma, God's plan, the laws of physics—they're all trying to describe the same thing. There is nothing that exists without purpose, and nothing without purpose that can exist. You can take solace in knowing that, just like the useless letter Q, you have birthright to exist in this world. Nothing can take that from you. Unless a creator God breeds technicolor angel-beasts hellbent on ripping you out of reality, of course. Naruto Retsuden: Toru
[SI/OC Third Shinobi War]Well fought and well done. All of us fight as one. It took me three years to be able to properly read the faded out kanji of the flimsy poster that I keep in my back pocket. The illustration is colourful, bright reds and yellows. Colours that would definitely catch the attention of a child. The poster was carefully placed along the walls and fences of my village, level with the height of a four year old. I thought enlisting to become a Shinobi was a heroic deed, something I needed to do to save my family from poverty and to serve my country at the cusp of war. Then I graduated early to be deployed to the front lines.I am sadly and sorely mistaken. Warnings:Slow-burnNO OP-NESSRomance? What romance?
