Hayate Palmer [Wind]
Kazuki Palmer [Kazu]
Player Type: Normal (Invited)
Report:
It has been several weeks since Mr. Palmer's children joined the game during launch. During our investigations, we saw that one of them managed to discover a guideless system to [Magecrafting], something that the beta testers failed to do so. Additionally, he managed to unlock an event slated to come in a future update as well as master the game mechanics of this world and many spells despite using a race that doesn't possess any skills that can give them advantages based on their real-life skills and talents in the virtual world of .
But one thing that shocked us the most is the first completion of main quest. Seeing them subjugating a difficult boss on their first try was one thing, but we were also surprised with them befriending the forest's guardian so easily. What's more, it took them a few hours to take care of all other threats thrown at them. I must say, they really have inherited Mr. Palmer's ability to adapt to their virtual environment with quick thinking and unorthodox strategies.
However, their battling skills in the game aren't the only aspects we observed. Our original intention for our boss NPC, was to serve as the players' first challenge in the game, in order to observe how they can use what they learned and mastered during their first few hours of playing after facing off several monsters and lesser guardians of the forest. But to bring him to life in the world of , we also added special lore related to him as well a secret event that can only be activated by a [Insignis] player. Unfortunately, with most of the player base preferring other races than [Insignis], nobody seemed to be able to find the secret event as they have only focused on the public boss event we announced during the launch. To tell you the truth, I originally had planned for that race to be cut in our first update due to its lack of popularity. However, it wasn't until our observance of Kazuki Palmer that we have changed everything we knew about the [Insignis] race.

We already expected that he would learn about his abilities during their first encounter, but we didn't expect that he and his brother wouldn’t just choose any given multiple choice question prompts at random whenever they talked to an NPC. Rather, they strayed off the script and managed to open up Bai Hu's trust with nothing but genuine words and kindness towards the A.I. It was in this very encounter that we detected signs of the NPC’s divergence from the A.I.’s usual programming and showing a bit of awareness by offering his friendship to Kazuki and Hayate. This is truly an astounding feat and the first step of truly bringing this virtual world to life.
Following this event, we haven't seen Hayate and Kazuki's avatars in the game as of this writing. I can deduce that they are taking a break from the game for a while, which is understandable due to their real-life obligations and the near-traumatic events of their [Quest]. Regardless, I can assure you that Mr. Palmer had the right judgment call on inviting his children to play this experimental game. For now, we will continue our observations once they return to while continuing to help the development team complete the aforementioned surprise event for the near future.

First RE:Guards
Status: Never to return again in this form (But the characters shall appear in a rewrite) I used to be a fire fighter. The requirements were easy enough with today's technology. Machines did the heavy lifting. Artificial intelligences put together action plans with the greatest resolution possible. Most days were simple jobs, first aid on minor fires, cats stuck in pipes too fine for machines, or when alarms went off that normal security scans couldn't eliminate. Most of the time our only skill was being willing to go into dangerous areas and follow orders, only I died running into the latest in biological terror. A beast that spawned fire. I remember the pain, it overwhelmed everything. Now I've woken in a new sort of existence. One where the only creature to view is a little girl, and she needs my help. Isabella Brand. Izzy, my one light in world of darkness and pain. She has the makings of a mage in her world and I'm going to be her spirit animal.

A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.

Oh Arceus, I'm a Pokemon! Now What?
Pokeballs have rules, and everybody, human and pokemon alike, know them; Pokeballs come in many types and colours. Some are good for using at night, others in the water, others are for bigger pokemon. Some catch pokemon better than others, or catch certain types of pokemon better than others. In every case though, there are things that pokeballs do and do not do. They're cheap, they're everywhere. Pokeballs can be resisted. They're never 100% successful. And they don't work on humans. Right? Right? Lux the eevee is in a bit of a pickle. She came into contact with a strange pokeball, and... that's where things started to go wrong. Now she's not quite sure who she is, what she is or where she's going. Oh Arceus, I'm a pokemon! But... now what? Updates weekly (so far). A not-so serious fun jaunt through the pokemon world.

Blue Mage Strives for the Level Cap! Adapt!
After being invited to participate in the Beta run of a new Full-Immersion Virtual Reality RPG, Ardacen Winters and 1999 others learn that it is also a race to reach the level cap of one hundred. The prizes are grand, but the chance to be the first players in this new game might be worth more than the prizes themselves. This is a Lit-RPG, a humble homage to all the others who precede it and hopefully an inspiration to anyone with a story in their own head that needs to be shared.
