Yikes, I really made a mess back there. While I managed to make a stronger staff as a result of it, I feel like everyone may see me as a monster or troublemaker after what I did back at the . But, at least Hayate gave me a pass and just scolded me for my reckless action, which for once, I am glad to take after what just happened earlier.

But still, it was shocking to see the magical pentagram release fire and lightning bolts all because I tried to enchant my [Prototype Plasma Staff] as a final touch. Was it because I made a mistake in my incantation? I did come up with it on the fly t and I just imagined having fire and electricity merge as one spell during the process. I guess casting a spell was a bit more complicated than I thought. You may never know what could happen next and what kind of effects can occur not only to your weapon and gears but also to your surroundings as well.

In any case, I'm glad everything worked out in the end. But I have a feeling Hayate won’t trust me on improvising more on my crafts alone in the near future...
