In a shadowy, small, closet-like room somewhere hidden from easy view, a secret operative spoke into a computer laptop jacked not into a wall plate, but instead into a box-like transmission device. The device looked like a black brick except for the glowing words on top.

On the laptop’s screen was a picture of a black monolith slab with a caption under it.

Order of One Justice Justice01

The secret operative hid in the shadows. His identity unseen. He lowered his voice to a whisper and spoke to the monolith slab on the screen.

“Your Honor, the spy we implanted in the Office of Administration at Renard University was unmasked and captured by the UEN’s STS forces.”

The black slab labeled Justice01 responded with a scrambled voice. “It is of little consequence. Have we been able to penetrate the University’s network security systems?”

“All is going according to plan,” said the shadowy secret operative.

“Excellent.”
