You push the button.
Ding.
You are now in a room with a…
Hmm.
Ok, so the file says “living room set”, but all I’m seeing is a bunch of cardboard boxes.
…
Oh.
Oh.
Ok. So, those boxes are from IKEA. Those letters must stand for something, because autocorrect insists on capitalizing all of them. Anyways, yeah. There is a living room set in here, but you have to put it together yourself.

You get to work! The first box claims to be a “HAVSTA coffee table - grey”.
Ok. Sure. Just a coffee table. You can do this!
You open the box and look at the instructions.
Suuuuure. This is easy.
You start off solid. There are only four legs, and they go in the corners. It’s not all that hard to mess up, really. It doesn’t take all that long to complete the table.
With that under your belt, you open up the next box. This one is a “HAVSTA nesting tables, set of 2 - grey”. A tiny bit more complicated. Ten pieces, instead of five.
You separate the pieces into “big” and “small”, and get to work. The pieces fit together the same as the coffee table, so you already know more or less where everything should go.
Even though there’s double the work, you finish in about the same amount of time.
There. You have a lovely set of nesting tables. Good job.
The third box is much bigger. It’s labeled “HAVSTA TV storage combination/glass doors - grey”.
You’re feeling pretty confident. After all, you’ve put together three tables alrea-

You know what? Three tables is enough. You don’t have to do all the work here. I mean, were you really supposed to do it? Or were you supposed to be dropped into a room with already put together furniture?

Probably the latter.
You decide you’ve done enough furniture putting-together for one day.
Yep.
You can do this!
You’re an expert at putting together furniture! Hell, I bet you get most of your furniture from ikea (wait, why didn’t autocorrect feel the need to capitalize the letters this time???), just because you’re so good at putting it together!
This will be, if not easy, an interesting challenge.
You get to work! First you take all the pieces out of the box and arrange them all on the ground, making sure everything is there. You read through the instructions once, figuring out the order everything should go in.
Having figured it all out in your mind, you spin the little hex key in your fingers and pick up the first piece.
It takes a while. There’s no denying that. Slowly but surely, though, it starts to take form.
The sliding drawers give you a bit of trouble. They’re extra complicated.
Finally, finally, you finish. You pull it up, standing it against the wall.
It’s great. You did such a good job. You truly are a master of putting together IKEA (wait, capitalized again? Make up your mind, autocorrect!!!) furniture.
You pat the coffee table, smiling at a job well done, and turn back to the button.
DO YOU PRESS THE BUTTON? Yes No

Perhaps. =====Summary Over===== Yo, if you are reading this then (like me) you like to read pretty much anything, including some guy's random rambles. Well you could read this story if you want but what's the fun in that really? I'm pretty much writing this (my first) story on a whim so it is certainly not perfect nor is it likely to be good (but what do I know maybe I'm secretly talented). It also might have tons of tons of errors beacuse I'm dumb and sometimes it's just so boring to proof read and you just wanna send a chapter out y'know. Regardless, whether this story brings you the most euphoric delight or illicits the most intense abhorrence I wanna know what you think and how I can improve, reader person, especially if you read this far! ( please reveiw or something)
