《I indeed don't know how to cultivate》chapter 13 The First Impressions

Zhang Jian didn't know the danger behind him at all. He just put these fish into his fish basket.
No more hesitation!
Lin Xi knew that coming here was a poor solution, but she had no other better stratagems. She wanted a quick-fire battle.
The qi in her hand grew to condense. She stared at Zhang Jian, who was turning his back to her. Just before she was about to pierce his heart ...
"Stop!"
Lin Xi heard it, but she wasn't an indecisive succuba.
However, her movements got stiff then froze at a particular move in the end.
She, a mighty at the Synthesis Stage, unexpectedly was stuck on the spot by the unknown spell.
A powerful and strange qi went straight at her body. Her scalp was tingled, and her natural perception of danger aroused.
A peerless power loomed behind her.
Zhang Jian seemed to recognize something and turned his head.
"Why are you here?" Asked he, thunderstruck.
At this moment, Lin Xi found that her body's control and qi came back. Panting heavily, she dared not look back.
Zhang Jian packed his things and carried his fishing rod behind him, then he pushed back the rattan chair at the place where he had stored it before.
At this time, Lin Xi happened to see a dog strolling by.
Dog?
Cerberus waggled past Lin Xi with a glancing at her gently, then she felt the oppressive feeling like entering the icehouse.
"This yellow dog is actually at the Ascension Stage!"
It's impossible!
With the tingle in her ears for alarm, Lin Xi intended to back off. She wiped the sweat all over the head and controlled the body to relieve fear.
The little yellow dog trotted subservient to Zhang Jian's side and tugged his trousers. It seemed to be very interested in the fish in Zhang Jian's basket.

Zhang Jian got its thoughts and smoothed its head, "Don't worry, I'll make fish soup for you at home."
When Cerberus heard the fish soup for itself, its eyes' light suddenly faded with even its tail wagged unhappily. It would be a remarkable decline in vigour if in that event. Perfect for raw!
Lin Xi couldn't feel any warmth from the vernal sunlight. Just a dog had arrived at the Ascension Stage, not to mention the man in front of her.
Moments later she finally could use her energy but the corner of the Cerberus' eyes warned her better not try anything.
The oppression of death made Lin Xi helpless. Her grief seemed to be beyond tears. "I'm not playing any more ... let me go..."
After Zhang Jian cleaned up, he naturally noticed the abnormality of Lin Xi.
He whispered to himself, "How can the girls in this world cramp so easily?" Taking a step, he surveyed the woman who appeared suddenly in the wilderness. Her skin was as white as snow and as smooth as pretty jade. Her figure was quite plumpy and charming. What a knockout!
The fixed gaze aroused Lin Xi's jitters. "He saw through me?" She had hidden all evil qi to disguise her true identity. Technically no one could recognize her.
"Do you have a cramp or anything wrong with your ankle?"
'Was he tempting me?' Lin Xi took it for granted and replied. "It's OK."
"Miss lady, there are wild animals in the deep mountains and forests, you need to be more careful when you're alone outside."
If it weren't for her efforts, Zhang Jian wouldn't get this fish king easily. He turned around and intended to select several fish in the basket for Lin Xi.
'... wild animals ....'

Lin Xi continued guessing, 'He had learned that I was vulnerable to it? I did require more attention.'
"Thanks to this girl for her help, these fish will be regarded as the gift." said Zhang Jian courteously.
Cerberus, on one side, was not happy and roared at Lin Xi, seeming to be a warning.
Zhang Jian patted its head and said with a bit of outrage, "Cerberus, show your etiquette!"
Lin Xi was dumbfounded at the man in front of her reprimanding the dog at the Ascension Stage. As glancing Cerberus's dangerous eyes, she forced out a smile, "No... no, this little girl just lift a finger."
Cerberus still sent out the hum of grievances on the side.
"Shut up!" Zhang Jian clapped it unexpectedly, only the puppy sobbing helplessly remained.
Lin Xi was stunned with her mouth widened.
"Sorry to be so rude. I'll lecture it at home." He tried to smile.
At this time, Lin Xi felt less pressure, it may be the best time to escape.
"It's so hot, and this little girl still has something to do, so it's time to say bye."
Before Zhang Jian responded, she left in a hurry.
Looking at the back of Lin Xi's departure, Zhang Jian sighed with emotion, "Although she is a bit dorky, still kind-hearted."
Lin Xi disappeared in Zhang Jian's vision before moving towards the devildom world.
"Damn it... I can't even move!"
She was shaking all over, whether from mad or fear he could not tell.
"No way, I have to win the Purple Mountain. This Zhang Jian is the biggest impediment on the road..."
Lin Xi had a deep thought about it but had no way to bypass Zhang Jian. It was a pity that she had no idea that Zhang Jian had nothing to do with Purple Sect.

This is a demo volume consisting only seven chapters. The sole reason of this publication is to show the world a glimpse of the project. Therefore, the final quality of the product will be lot more refined and polished. This demo might get deleted from RoyalRoad after the actual publication. Synopsis: "Knights wearing their shining armor serving righteous justice riding their glorious horses." We all have heard that story- Heroes who do the right in the purest way without any tampering. But, is it really that easy? Is the world and it's heroes really that pure? After all... fairytale is just a lie. I might be the first author in the world who despises writing. I haven't read any story books or novel in my entire life but children's story book (not even ten of them). So, why do I write? Simple answer- the story. Inexperienced I may be but I believe my project and it's quality. The actual story will be posted somewhere in 2019. The story will be devided into 7/8 volumes and 90 (approx.) chapters. I have been working on this project for 1 year now. It took me 5 months to finalize the concept and plot, 7 months for the story and it's already been 6 months in writing along with 2 times of total revamp.
