《I indeed don't know how to cultivate》chapter 3 Purple Sword

A figure flashed over in the sky. Wang Yan, standing on a flying sword, was rushing in the direction of the sect.
"I must get there as soon as possible."
Her heart throbbed, for her sensing the strong evil Qi accumulating and rising in the distance.
At this time, the fog on the top of Purple Mountain turned black, clouding the palace that she could usually see.
Suddenly, a miserable dragon cry resounded and echoed through the sky, as if a plaintive cry at its death bed.
"Oh, no."
An ominous foreboding rose in her heart.
She pumped more Qi into the flying sword and accelerated the flight. The jewel in the hilt of the sword shone brightly, and high-speed flying had turned her and the sword into a flash of lightning.
"Whew!"
A while later, she arrived at the old place she was so familiar with, only to find that everything here was no longer the same as when she left.
Demons laid siege to the majestic palace. The disciples all curled up in a tiny circle with swords in their hands to defend themselves. Fortunately, no one died yet. It seemed that the time the protection barrier crumbled might not be too long.
What surprised her even more, was another battlefield not far away.
Long Yi, with his right arm covered in blood, trembled. The Dragon Sword, which he used to hold tight to, fell on the ground. The Qi inside his body was in such a mess as if they were to find a way out of his body.
A golden dragon lay dying in the valley's jungle with its tail drooping feebly, its horns broken and wounds everywhere in its scale-covered body. It seemed so weak and badly hurt that it could no longer put up a fight.
A beautiful and charming woman floated in the air right in front of them, her Qi soaring inside her body.
Long Yi sensed her arrival and said with a wry smile, "Sis, you are late."
That was true. She could have kicked the so-called master of demons out of here by cooperating with Golden Dragon if she had come even five minutes earlier. Now, it was too late.

The succuba floated in the air, one of her hands resting on her waist and the other cupping her cheek, and sighed in a mocking tone, "What a pity! It seems that even God is siding with me."
Wang Yan squinted at the succuba and kept an eye on the disciples below at the same time.
To save everyone, she must defeat her. That was the only way and the conclusion she came to at the moment. She believed that Long Yi understood this as well, which explained why this fight happened.
With the sword in her hand, she was confident that she could defeat the succuba in front of her, but she could not ensure that the other enemies would not come to Purple Sect to make waves again in the future.
She rolled her eyes, trying to come up with a good solution, one that would address the problem once and forever.
"Shall we make a bet?"
She asked loudly.
The succuba crossed her hands in front of her chest and squeezed out a deep cleavage of her bosoms, "You are not at the right position to make a bet with me now."
Wang Yan took out a wooden box and showed the purple sapphire inside to her, "It's yours if you win."
The succuba put down her hands and asked with great interest, "How do we bet?"
"We fight one-on-one. If you win, you could have the purple sapphire, and my Purple Sword as well. And we will leave. Every single disciple of Purple Sect would leave. If you lose, you have to promise me that you won't set foot here again for twenty years."
Wang Yan's immature face showed confidence that did not suit her age.
"Interesting."
The succuba snapped her fingers, "You have my word." After that, she ordered all the demons to halt their attacks on the palace of the Purple Sect.
Long Yi said worriedly, "Sis, you are being reckless. This will be a bad thing." Even he himself lost to the demon; how could she win against her? Even though she had two gems to help her, her combat experience was far less from his.

Wang Yan asked him, "Long, do you have any better solutions?"
The man in white said nothing. He knew what she said was right. It was better to gamble with her rather than fight a war that was doomed to failure.
At this time, the hoarse and feeble voice of the dragon came from the valley. "Boy, I have to go back to recuperate. I am really sorry that I didn't help you this time."
Although already fragile, Long Yi replied politely, "Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it."
With a flash of golden light, the dragon vanished in the valley and returned to Celestial World.
After the dragon left, Long Yi knew that they were bound to fail.
He was an incredibly rational man since childhood. He was not afraid of any adversities that may get in the way and was always insightful and far-sighted. He knew very well that Wang Yan was trying to save the disciples' lives; however, the ownership of Purple Mountain was significant as it was related to the safety and security of the whole world.
The Purple Mountain was rich in Qi, which was very suitable for cultivation, and of course, it was also an ideal place for demons. Cultivating here was far more efficient than in other areas. Although there were many holy caves and hills elsewhere, most of them were limited in size. There was no place as big as Purple Mountain, which was full of Qi from nature and could accommodate one hundred thousand people at most.
It had always been a hotly contested spot with vital military importance for all cultivators and demons. Whoever owned the place had the initiatives.
Now, Purple Sect had a high possibility of losing it, and the only chance to win the fight and keep the place was to find their master.
He silently withdrew from the battlefield unnoticed, calling over the dragon sword he dropped just now, and then rode the sword, flying out at a fast speed.
As the man in white left, the succuba smirked and asked Wang Yan, "Little girl, are you sure you wanna fight with me? Watch out!"
Wang Yan satirized, not feeling intimidated by her threat, "Old lady, don't jump to a conclusion before we even start the fight."
A chill flashed across the succuba's charming eyes. She was so angered by Wan Yan addressing her old lady. She replied in a cold, plain tone, "Little girl, you have succeeded in annoying me."
With that, an intense burst of Qi formed into a strong wind and danced around her body. The air temperature plummeted so much that Wang Yan could even see the white water vapor coming out of her nostril.
"So cold."
Wang Yan kept shivering all over. However, for a cultivator like her at such a stage, she had seen stronger.
The black smoke billowed from behind the succuba and slowly gathered together, gradually forming into a shape of a giant skull. Its oppressive force was terrific.
Wang Yan tried to gain the upper hand before the demon launched her attack. She pinched her fingers and made a gesture, "Separation."
With a wave of her right hand, the Purple Sword cloned itself and created hundreds of thousands of copies. All the swords with identical looks surrounded Wang Yan and pointed directly at the skull.
"Out of sheath!"
The numerous swords darted at the distant skull with her command, like a purple-blue stream swashing at a black stone. It was such a spectacular scene to watch.
"Weak."
The succuba ridiculed contemptuously.
If the dragon were still here, it would be a tough situation for her to cope with. At this point, she could not care less about this sort of individual attack.
With a gentle wave of her hand, the black skull behind her suddenly opened its big bloody mouth and sucked hard. A powerful suction sucked the countless clones of the purple flying swords into its mouth as if it was drinking water.
"Oh, no!"
