《I indeed don't know how to cultivate》chapter 2 Golden Dragon

Purple Sect was surrounded by high mountains and stood on top of white clouds. The lay folks could not get near it. Even if they intended to take a rough look, they must make great efforts. They had to climb to the designated peak, only to take a quick and rough glance at the tip of the iceberg.
It was a sacred place for cultivators, and only those who had been proved worthy would be recognized here. Similarly, this was the birthplace of legends.
--The cradle for the real experts or legends.
And it's also the biggest enemy of the Devildom World.
Demons were suppressed by the cultivators for decades, and it was difficult for them to make waves. One of the main reasons was the existence of the Purple Sect. For this, Lin Xi, the master of the Devildom World, the most dangerous succuba to the Mortal World, had been coveting this territory.
She led a large number of demons and monsters to launch an attack during the absence of Xiao.
Although there was no powerful cultivator like Xiao leading the defense and resistance, the Purple Sect had its own protection system. The mountains seemed to be covered under an invisible barrier to stop the demons from bursting in.
She commanded her troops and tried to break through this protection barrier at all costs.
The demons were desperate to destroy the protection barrier by dealing spells outside, and the cultivators inside, looking nervous, dared do nothing in response.
The ball-shaped protective and shielding barrier constantly rippled at the substantial impacts, and its light dimmed.
The white clouds drifted above the square.
"What are we going to do now? Senior, the protection barrier won't last long."
A timid disciple asked nervously to a serious-looking man. Dressed in white, the man showed no fear in his eyes. Glaring at the disciples, the man had two eyebrows like two sharp blades, piercing straight into their hearts.

"Have you forgotten what the master taught you?"
He lectured the group of panicking disciples with great calm and composure, "What we have been cultivated is "Tao". Death is nothing in the face of "Tao". As long as we have a strong mind, reincarnation won't be able to restrain us. It is not the number that matters in deciding the outcome of a war." He pointed to Lin Xi, the demon master lying leisurely on a stone in the distance, and shouted, "You see her? As long as we kill her first, this rabble will retreat without putting up a fight. You will see my words being proven today."
"Boom, Boom, Boom~"
The light on the barrier was getting weaker and weaker, and it seemed that it was not going to last any longer.
The man overlooked the other side of the sky with sharp eyes and sighed secretly, 'It seems that I can't hold on till my little sister comes back.'
He started making gestures with his fingers, and soon enough, a small round hole appeared in the protection barrier above his head, just big enough for one to pass through. A bat-shaped monster noticed it and rushed over with great excitement, trying to be the first pioneer to break through the barrier.
A golden light flew out of the cuff of the man in white at a breakneck speed.
"Ah!"
The bat monster screamed, and in a split second, it exploded in the golden light with no bone ash left. Then the little hole just disappeared at once.
The man went outside, holding a sword in one hand, and floated in the air. His long hair and sleeves were fluttering in the breeze.
Other strange-looking demons saw him. They immediately rushed in his direction and intended to strike him.

"Stand down!"
The Queen's yelling came from another mountaintop. Suddenly, the demons who had just been scrambling to skin the man in white alive retreated and continued to attack the protective barriers.
She looked no different from other typical ladies, plump, voluptuous, well-proportioned in body form, and wearing a revealing cheongsam, which diverged at the root of her thigh.
She got up lazily from the boulder and murmured, "The power of the Dragon Sword is not something you bastards can resist. Am I right, Long Yi?"
Though hundreds of meters away, Long Yi could hear every single word of hers.
He held the Golden Sword with a blank face, and his left hand began to make gestures quickly.
"RIN, HYO, TOH, SHA, KAI, JIN, RETSU, ZAI, ZEN, extermination!"
Nine different gestures were completed in an instant. With the last word "extermination", the golden sword in his hand suddenly let out a huge roar. The sword was glowing, giving out dazzling golden light, then a dragon nearly hundreds of meters long loomed in the air, revolving around him.
The vast shadows enveloped several peaks, blocking out the sunlight. The powerful Qi from the dragon oppressed everyone at present, and no one dared to move.
"Ho~"
An intimidating snort came out of the dragon's nostrils, leaving all the demons and monsters to forget to make another strike.
"Is this the legendary Golden Dragon?" All the disciples in the square marveled.
"I heard that only the Dragon Sword can summon the dragon of the Celestial World. The sword holder can only summon the dragon three times in his life." Some disciples noted.
"What? The celestial world?" Quite a lot of newbies were awed and taken aback.
It was another level of the story as long as it concerned Celestial World.
"What do you want, my summoner?" An old voice came from the dragon's throat.
Long Yi floated in the air, making a bow with hands folded in front, and saluted the dragon, "I am sorry to summon you at this inconvenient time. Now the Devildom World is invading Purple Sect, and our master is nowhere to be found. I need your help."
The dragon's pupils, as big as two basketballs, swept across the demons. They all froze there, afraid to make a sound, for fear of being eaten alive.
Its pupils turned slightly more extensive as it saw Lin Xi.
"I could take care of the rest so easily as if they were pieces of cake, but not for that woman." The dragon's face paled. "Where's your younger sister? With her Purple Sword, I'm sure I can defeat her."
Long Yi's face turned incredibly severe and sober. "What? Even you couldn't defeat this demon?"
The dragon answered noncommittally, "I didn't expect that there was a demon at such cultivation stage in Mortal World."
Hearing what the dragon said, Long Yi's heart sank. He thought it was an act and countermeasure of desperation and would definitely eliminate the demon.
"Boy, I could only protect you if the fight starts. As for your disciples, I wish god show them the mercy."
A chill ran down Long Yi's spine. "We are doomed to die. Let's fight and hold our position together, my brothers."
"Let's go!"
The man in white stood on the dragon's head, holding the golden sword, and launched a fierce attack at the demon on the peak.

The Portals of Albion
Portals to other worlds. Siblings with a secret. A world in need of magic. Zach is haunted, scarred by his time spent in a place that might as well have been hell. Zara, his sister, even more so. After years of torturous experiments, they were finally rescued. But the years since then haven’t been easy. Both siblings just want a break, something to take their minds from the past. The portals that appeared all over the world a hundred years ago are the key. The reason behind years of captivity now holds the answer to their problems. For the second time in his life, Zack awakens as a ‘Traveler’. Someone possessing the ability to pass through these portals and venture into the mystic realms. What begins as a fresh start soon attracts the attention of nobles and those with less savory intentions. When you have known nothing but distrust for those in power, what would you do to remain in control of your life? I will be uploading new chapters on Tuesday and Saturday each week at 4pm Mountain Standard Time. (The story has been described as X-men meets Narnia. Which while not entirely accurate, is still a fun way of looking at it.) (Note: As with my other stories, this one focuses more on the characters than on constant action. The Lite-LitRPG and Gamelit elements are introduced into the story gradually.) Author's Note: This is my raw, mostly unedited text. I am using RR to test out this story as I'm writing it to get a feel for how the published and edited copy will be received. Certain sections of the story will be changed or added to when I publish it as well. Note: A re-write is currently being posted to both this site and AO3. I recommend you read that version first instead of this one, so check my profile for the new version. This kicks off a bizarre and turbulent journey, in which she finds herself leading the charge against a malevolent entity. The story is inspired by Persona 5, but features a fully original cast of characters and setting. Note that this work is overtly religious.
