You’re slipping into a class of Knights pretty rare to find

This class will suit your needs much better, I hope you don’t mind

I’ll continue watching over you as you progress

Though your recent decisions are causing me some stress

Delilah’s guardian was not the only stressed one there

Some villagers were shouting while others could only stare

It was clear the messengers had nothing left to prove

And so they thought it best that they were quickly on the move

“Fine, we’ll leave you people here in peace, but we’ll be back

So next time you should think twice about you you would attack

The King you serve, the same as us, is merciful and kind

But answers to the system are something he needs to find”

Achievement: Endurance

You’ve done more than enough to prove you have some courage here

But this isn’t where you should risk ending your career

Take this guidance as a lesson in humility

There is more at stake than this rambunctious family

Roy then quickly turned and marched away from the wild crowd

Even as he left the commotion was fairly loud

Neil was still dumbfounded by the power they had found

But when Delilah caught his eyes he quickly turned around

They left the lively town behind them to go and report

Once they left, young Neil looked over to his old cohort

“Should we not attempt to find the child while we are here?

What if we could find him before more portals appear?”

“We no longer have the luxury to take our time

The portals take priority over some petty crime

The King will send a force into the woods to look for him

We cannot alter our quest based on our every whim”

“Yes sir, it is as you say, let’s go to the king soon

Will we tell him everything about this afternoon?”

Neil could see that Roy felt shame for his misshapen nose

“We’ll just say we fought some monsters, you know how it goes”

“What was with those villagers anyways, they were strong

Was the countryside full of such monsters all along

I’ve never seen stats like that, even in the army

What kind of child are we hunting if that’s his family”

Roy just sighed while wiping some of the blood from his face

“Rumours surface now and then of such a monstrous place

A place where all the kingdom’s rejects go to live in peace

But we are on a quest, so it is best your questions cease”

Roy wanted some time to think upon what had happened

Since the wild encounter hsi confusion just deepened

What’s more, his own deity who’d long been so passive

Suddenly had an abundance of advice to give

Achievement: Witness

I sense your questions, and though I have long watched over you

I have never guided you too closely it is true

The path you chose was noble but required little from me

But whatever’s coming soon, you must all be ready

Roy looked back at Neil and knew by the look on his face

Either he was reading, or just staring into space

“Tell me, Neil, has your god become talkative lately

Mine has been as worried as the others recently”

“All she said was I had better stay close to you, Roy

Even if your company is harder to enjoy

Also, she said we she get back home while we still can

And that we should run much faster than we ever ran”

And so they planned to go right back without a moment’s rest

Deciding that reporting to the king first would be best

They hadn’t yet gone far and still the village was in sight

But suddenly the sky turned black, like day had turned to night

They stopped and looked up through the trees completely terrified

They couldn’t rationalize it no matter how they tried

Back in the village it was a similar event

Nobody who saw it could understand what it meant

Achievement: Brace Yourself

Log, I don’t know what is happening, but this is real

How your feeling now is how everyone else must feel

Brace yourself and be prepared for anything at all

This may just blow over, but catastrophe may fall

It felt like the whole world had suddenly grow cold and dark

Nobody dared to make a noise or utter a remark

They only watched and waited for whatever was to come

The only sound Log heard was his heart beating like a drum
