Sky was silent as she kept imagining the worst
Twig was always so kind despite being weak and cursed
She flew with grace between the trees keeping up with Leaf’s pace
Leaf only cried more when he saw the look on her face
Todd assured young Pebble that with him there they’d be fine
“This quest is a surefire win now that the quest is mine
Back in my day, portals were like a hobby for me
I’ll punch into smithereens any monster I see!”
The four moved like the wind til they began to hear a buzz
And they all knew that they were close to where their comrade was
They came into the clearing and were shocked be what they found
An endless swarm of monsters and their friend upon the ground

The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? The date is 3rd February 2031, its been 10 years since the 'Rifts' came. People came out of these 'Rifts' and bestowed humanity with the 'system', a status panel where people could level up like in a game . Most of humanity was gifted with it, only the unlucky 5% of the world population was not gifted with the 'system'. Now ever since, rifts in the world formed and monsters that you would only see in fantasy came out. Goblins, Dragons and Demons all those type of monsters came out, people had to seal these rifts. People with the 'system' are able to level up by killing monsters from the rifts and are able to seal it, this people came to be known as Argonauts who ventured forth to the world beyond the rift. I am the unlucky 5% of the population that was not gifted with the 'system'.
