《Digital Marine》Ch: 75 The joys of retail therapy

Freya sighed as she left the fourth level store that she normally went to when she was on the Monarch. It wasn’t the same store of course, but she just assumed that she would be able to buy her next rifle there. She had been wrong. All the stuff the sales android showed her was only slightly better than what she had now. In the end, she left to head up one flight to see if that store had anything better.

As she climbed the stairs, she thought about what the android had told her. She hadn’t realized how much her Golden E had helped her in letting her buy rifles one rank higher than she was technically allowed to. That meant that her Desus was a corporal’s weapon. Now that she was a corporal, she could buy a sergeant’s weapon. She had forgotten that fact. Sergeants’ weapons started at the fifth level and higher depending on what a person wanted.

She passed an armor store, but she ignored it for now. She was dead set on getting a new rifle. She was really eager to see what new rifles were out there. She had over 400k of credits sitting in her account and she was not leaving until she had the best of the best. As she thought about that she realized that she needed to visit the vehicle store to get a new contract for BaTk. Right now she had nothing to use for her ship.

Thinking about the contract for the BaTk led her to think about her ship. She started to fantasize about upgrades to her ship before she started to think about buying a second ship. “Maybe a boarding ship for space boarding ops. Oh, maybe an assault ship.” She thought to herself, mentally rubbing her hands together as she passed a sergeant on the stairs. She moved to the side to let him pass her as he went down the stairs.

“Morning, Magic.” The sergeant said as stepped past her.

“Sergeant.” She replied with a nod, completely caught up in thinking about all the options she had for ships and the mods she could get with them, then stopped. Frowning, she turned around to look at the sergeant again. He ignored her and kept on walking down the stairs. She strained her memory, but she couldn’t remember ever meeting him before. She watched him for a few seconds, but nothing popped up in her memory. Shrugging, she turned back around and kept climbing up the stairs. She told herself she must have met him on the Monarch, and just didn’t remember him. Soon she completely forgot about the incident as she walked out on the fifth floor and saw a small weapons store to her left.

She frowned as she walked. None of the weapons were what she was looking for. On three of the four walls were medium machine guns. On the last wall were some larger weapons. Some of the weapons she saw were pretty cool-looking, but not what she was looking for. She was just about to turn and leave the store when all the rifles spun inwards towards the wall, and long barrel rifles appeared in their place.

“That’s more like it.” Freya thought to herself, as she stopped and looked around happily. She was immediately drawn to the rifle in the center of the back wall. It was slightly longer than her Desus, and, well, overall just bigger. The spec of the rifle said it was five feet long which was a foot longer than her Desus. It was also eight pounds heavier at twenty pounds in weight. It also didn’t have a scope. That, she assumed, she would have to buy separately.

“Good morning, Corporal O’Malley. Welcome to Thad’s Gun Shop. I am Dexter. I see you are interested in our E.S.I. Multi Heavy ASO. This is the latest version that E.S.I. has come out with. It currently fires a LNG rod heavy ballistic round at 8,000 miles per second with an electromagnetic cocoon at ten rounds per battery. It is pin-dot accurate up to 100 miles. The weapon also has the ability, unmodded, to fire 40 ballistic rounds at two-thousand miles per second without the electromagnetic cocoon. But, as you can imagine, this setting is much less accurate.” The shop’s android sales assistant told her.

“Granted, if you do get the weapons, you are going to need shock absorbers. The weapon has three options outside of the one that comes with it. My recommendation being the Duralogistic, that also includes its patterned Nexus sound reducers. It will reduce the sound to 0 to 60 decibels depending on the environment and surroundings. With your build, I would assume that you will want a quieter shot than most scout templates. That is, if you are working towards a First Sniper template instead of going the command route.” The android said to her, as they walked up to the rifle.

Freya nodded absently as she picked up the rifle. It felt slightly heavier than her Desus, but with her strength mods it was negligible. She lifted the rifle to her shoulder and noted that it felt awkward doing that standing up. The barrel felt like it wanted to fall towards the ground. The android must have seen her expression because it quickly started talking again.

“That is the standard stock. If you mod the weapon with any shock absorbers it won’t feel so unbalanced.” It told her. “Here, let me show you the Duralogistic shock absorbers. If you would put it back in the cradle.”

Freya did as it asked and put the rifle back on the wall. The gun retreated into the wall before coming back out again. The stock had changed from the standard long stock that she was used to to a longer but thinner version. The curve at the end was also smaller and, to Freya, it looked like the android had custom-fitted it to her shoulder. She picked it up again and immediately noticed the difference. The balance was so much better. She swung the rifle around feeling out the balance. While it was longer than Desus, it felt the same to her, if not slightly better than her old rifle. She nodded to herself as she pulled it off her shoulder and looked at it closer.

“Now, we have a mod that I think you will be very interested in. E.S.I. has added an aftermarket mod that allows you to also switch to a beam weapon. The beam is accurate in all but the most cluttered of environments. What makes this a very good option for a sniper is the penetration power of the beam. It can penetrate the heavy plating of a tank or a Mech at up to five miles away, if fired for .004 seconds. That is the maximum heat versus time any active camo can mask. You can, of course, set it to fire longer, but E.S.I. cannot guarantee that you will not be picked up by any passive sensors. You may also mod the beam to have an explosive reaction after it penetrates its target. Granted, it would not explode if you fired it at a lightly-armored soldier at close range, as the armor would not be thick enough to set the explosive reaction off, but it will definitely go right through them.” The android said, but Freya barely listened to the last bit, as her inner child was screaming in glee.

“I know what you're thinking. Something like that is a battery hog. That is true, but E.S.I. has partnered with Colax to create a battery pod. This pod is a single pod that contains five reduced-size Mega Colax purified batteries. This pod allows for a faster reload time than other, similar, competitor’s weapons. If you get this mod you will also get 4 Mega Colax battery pods at no additional charge, as well as the recharger belt which can be adjusted to fit any light armor suit.” The android told her.

“Now, to your next question if you will, how hot will this run? The rifle comes with ten slots of heat sinks which will last you for five minutes, if you mod the rifle with the beam option. Without that option, you can fire your weapon constantly for an hour without damage to the rifle itself. It does have ten more open slots that you can add heat sinks to, so that you may fire the weapon with the beam option for much longer. Doing so will allow you an hour of consistent fire with beam mod, and two and half hours without the mod.”

“How many shots can I get out of one pod, if I go with the full twenty heat sinks?” Freya asked, as she put the rifle down.

“If you stick to the recommended .004 second firing time for the beam option, then you will get four shots off before you will need to replace the battery pod.”

Freya winced at that, but didn’t stop looking at the rifle. “Is there a mod that can increase the number of shots I can fire before I need to reload?” She asked the android.

“I’m afraid not, at this time. Please be aware that the penetration power of the beam versus it’s portability is one of it’s selling features. We do have other beam weapons with more shots per battery life, but none of them come with a ballistic option with an electromagnetic cocoon.” It told her.

“Can I see one?” Freya asked, and the android led her to a few other weapons.

The only weapon that she was even halfway interested in was a beamer rifle that was an even larger rifle than E.S.I. 's version. To carry it, Freya would have to break it down into two parts just to tote it with her. That did not include the fact that, just like the android had said, while the rifle did have a ballistic option, it did not have the electromagnetic cocoon option. In the end she went back to the first option. The other beamer rifle was just not worth it in her mind, even if it did increase the number of shots from four to fifteen. She really didn’t like that she had to break the weapon down to carry it and then reassemble it if she wanted to fire it.

“Now that we have picked your next rifle, I assume you will need a scope?” The android salesmen asked her.

“I guess.” Freya said, putting the rifle back on it’s cradle.

“If you would come with me, I have several selections picked out for you. I assume that you want to continue without an auto-aiming option in your scopes?” The android asked her.

“Yep.” Freya replied, as she walked over to the counter that was filled with all different types and sizes of scopes.

“Okay.” The android said - it waved its hand and about two thirds of the scopes were lowered into the counter, leaving about twenty behind. “These are your options for the ASO. They range from your standard, advanced infantry scope, if you’re looking to stay in a budget, to the state of art, multi-option, wide-angle scopes.”

“Let’s see what the best you have is and work from there.” Freya told it.

“Very well.” It said and pointed to a wide-angle scope that was in the middle of the pack. “This is an Angler 57. It is a wide-angle rifle scope that you can focus in on a fly at four miles away. It has preset semi-auto zoom features, so that you can quickly zoom in on your target. This is just a shortcut feature so that you are not spending too much time adjusting your scope while in the heat of battle. You can set the zoom features to your liking so that you can quickly skip however many feet or miles you need to get to your target’s range. From there, you can manually adjust the range for a better shot. Please be aware this does not have an auto-target feature. You will still have to know and adjust to the approximate range to get an accurate shot.” The android told her as Freya picked up the large scope.

The rifle scope was about six inches long with a small, one-inch opening for her to look through. At the other end, the scope widened to five inches to give her a better field of vision. The scope was much fatter than any scope she had ever seen before. It had the manual adjustments on the top like she was used to, but it also had a bunch of buttons on the left-hand side that she had no idea about. She looked through the scope and saw a mini-HUD along with the target reticule.

“This scope has a MAS vision feature so that you can see through non-reinforced solid objects. This will not include individual armor of course, but you can see through anything from trees to non-reinforced walls or barriers.” The android told her, showing her which buttons to push. She pushed the button and looked through it. Everything looked normal except a rainbow hued body that was standing behind a semi-transparent wall. The figure waved at her. She lowered the scope and looked up to see that she had been looking at the back wall of the store.

“It also comes with a standard range finder as well as weather and gravity indicators. There are several mods that you can buy to upgrade these features to increase the information and give a more accurate, real-time analysis. Please be aware that there are some enemies of the human race that have the technology to disrupt these features. In the event you do come across jamming like that, all the mods can be turned off.” It told her.

“How much is all this going to cost me?” Freya asked, looking at the android.

“Do you wish to talk about the mods for the scope before we talk about the overall cost or do you want me to give you a quote now?” It said in turn.

“Fine.” Freya said with a sigh, turning back to the scope. “Tell me about the mods.”

The android reached under the counter, pulled up the E.S.I. ASO rifle and placed the scope on it, before it started talking about the mods. The mods, Freya learned, weren’t all that crazy. The most expensive one gave her advanced warning of wind gusts and a recommended time to shoot her rifle. It also gave her real-time information about the atmosphere so that she could adjust her shot according to how thick it was. There were a few other semi-interesting things in the mods, but those were the things that stood out to Freya the most. Feeling like she was being led to spend more money on information she could get elsewhere, she didn’t take any of the mods.

“I see you have a secondary weapon that is grossly out of date for someone at your rank. Would you care to see some options?” The android sales person asked her.

“Let’s just talk about the price on what I have here before we get into that.” Freya told the android, feeling a bit annoyed. She looked down at the rifle and sighed.

“Very well, the current total for both the ASO and the Angle 57 with all the mods you agreed to comes to 9,912 credits.” It told her, holding out both hands to indicate the weapon on the counter.

Freya cursed. She looked at the android then back down at the weapon. It was a really beautiful weapon, she noted, and she had the credits for it. She looked up at the android again and sighed. “Is there any way to reduce the price?” She asked it, hopefully.

“I’m sorry, I am not authorised to provide you any deals at this time. I cannot go lower than the price that is listed.” It told her. “I can give you a ten percent discount on a side weapon that is at least 1000 credits or higher, as long as you buy this rifle with or without the mods that you have added.”

“You're killing me, Smalls.” Freya muttered, as she looked down at the rifle.

“I’m sorry Corporal, but I think there may have been a miscommunication. My name is Dexter, not Smalls. According to your vitals, you are not at the present dying. You may be feeling some psychological problems. Do you wish for me to contact the October and see about some mental counseling?” The android asked her, sounding alarmed.

“What?” Freya replied, surprised. “No, it’s just a saying from a really old, but good movie.”

“My apologies. I have located the movie quote and have added it to my colloquialism database.” It replied, sounding oddly relieved.

“It’s okay. It’s my fault. No one says stuff like that anymore.” She told it, feeling guilty. “Ok, let me see what you have for side weapons.”

“Since you have a long to extremely-long range weapon already picked out, I suggest a medium to long range weapon.” It replied.

Freya turned around as all the weapons on the walls spun once more and medium-sized guns appeared. She noted that there were a lot more of them than the others that it had shown her before. It guided her to the middle of the room again and began to show her all sorts of different weapons. Some were beam weapons while others were ballistic weapons, but with much less power than what she had with her ASO rifle. They were still a huge step up from her old GMZ rifle.

The problem, she concluded after some thought, was that her GMZ had both range and penetrating power problems. It took several shots just to penetrate heavy armor at medium to long range with it. Even the long range for the rifle was a joke. Her hunting rifle back home had more range than it did. That, she knew, she had to fix. On top of all that, she also hated the scope that was on it. The scope had two preset zooms, without the ability to manually adjust it. That really grated on her nerves. She knew she was a perfectionist when it came to shooting, and not being able to adjust her scope really triggered her anxiety.

One thing she noticed was that none of the weapons that the android was showing her had both ballistic and beam options. They were all very strong weapons, but after her ASO they were just not that exciting. She knew that she had to get a new weapon because the ammo cost and the very length of the barrel on her new rifle made it far too unrealistic to use for anything but sniping.

She wittled her selection down to four ballistic weapons. None of them had an electromagnetic cocoon like that of her ASO, but they all had their various benefits. The T.S.S. 77 used the same ammo as the ASO. The LNG ammo rod was simply a denser version of the NG ammo rod that she used in her Desus. That denseness added up to greater stopping power but at a reduced penetrating power. Granted, it still had better penetrating power than her GMZ, but nowhere near the penetrating power of her ASO.

The Nav 454 used the NG ammo rod, but it had a great firing rate. The downside of the 454 was that it was slightly less accurate than the 77. The Tobogin Medium Taggart rifle could be outfitted with LNG HE ammo rods, but it was much louder and had a slower firing rate than the other two weapons. On the plus side, it did have greater stopping and penetrating power. Its accuracy, though, fell between the two other rifles.

The last rifle she was shown was the Irish Nester. The weapon was made by a corporation that was run by the New Ireland planetary government. While she wasn’t a fan of the theocratic government, it was a good weapon. It was similar to the Tobogin, in that it used HE ammo rods, but instead of the LNG rods it used paired down NG rods. It had a better accuracy compared to the 77, but had a slower firing rate than the 454.

While it wasn’t as powerful as the Tobogin, it did beat the other two. It also used the Mega Colax purified battery that she had modded into a pod so that both her weapons had the same battery. It could fire 200 rounds per ammo rod while she wouldn't have to change out the battery pod for months. Granted, she knew that the battery pod was overkill, but Dexter the sales android threw in two extra battery pods and an additional charger on her belt so that she could charge two pods at once. What clinched it for Freya was that he only charged her half price for the two pods and threw in the extra charger for free. On top of that, he was able to take the scope off her Desus and put it on the Nester for free.

She ended up walking out of the weapons store 11,484 credits lighter. Still, she felt good with her new weapons. She was really itching to try out her new ASO rifle, but she told herself that she had other things to buy. She left the fifth floor and went back down to the fourth flood to the armor store she had seen before in passing. She walked in and was greeted by a female, android sales woman.

The android showed her a bunch of new armor sets, but nothing that really stood out to Freya. She then asked about changing her current suit back to its tier 5 status, and saw what she thought was a micro-expression of defeat in the android's face. The android did as she was asked and unmodded Freya’s armor. Freya got a bunch of communications unlocks and a bit more armor for only fifty credits. Then the android started talking about mods and, feeling bad, Freya started to listen in.

The first mod that she was shown was a strength mod for the suit. It would increase her speed to nearly twice what she currently had. If she added to her strength mods, the mod for the armor would increase that by a fourth. It was only good up to one-hundred and fifty mod points, but, since she had very little desire to waste her precious mods on strength, she thought it was a good deal. Granted, she did want to increase her strength because she hated how nearly everyone was faster than she was, but she very much doubted that she would need more than one-hundred and fifty mods.

The android also talked her into upgrading her batteries to the pod system. It would give her greater time for her ATI stealth boost. It wasn’t quite double the time, but it was close. There was also an upgrade to her normal stealth package. It didn’t do much except help hide her from someone who could hack their armor’s sensors like she did in the past to see past the active camouflage.

It also told her that the mod would increase sensitivity on heavy atmosphere worlds. She didn’t know about how that would apply, but she was still feeling bad for the android so she bought it. It also had a mod that would increase the size of her backpack by half again its current size. Granted, it wasn’t all that much of an improvement, but it was cheap so she got it. In the end she left the armor store two-hundred and seventy-eight credits lighter because she was feeling guilty for the android. She knew she was being stupid, but she felt better after doing it.

From there, she spent about a half an hour bouncing between stores picking up some random things. She added a bunch of new songs and deleted a lot of songs that she couldn’t stand anymore from her time when she was stuck on her ship. She found a store on the second floor that was selling classes and she went in to check them out. She had a bunch of Phd’s already and had been working on getting one more in corporate FTL communications, but she really wasn’t all that interested in it. She dropped it in favor of xenology studies. Basically, she wanted to study the aliens that humans had discovered or who had discovered humans.

Fifteen minutes before she was due to meet up with Monkeyman, she left, went down to the first floor and waited in line for the training console. She missed not having a dedicated training console - and a camp, for that matter. It took her nearly ten minutes to get to the front of the line, which was far more than she expected to wait. She quickly brought up her training screen.

Instead of seeing what options she had, she had the notice saying that she still had required training that she had not finished. She sighed, feeling slightly depressed, when she saw that message. It reminded her of Sergeant Torres and then of course brought back memories of everyone in her old platoon. She shook her head, trying to shake off the sadness, and instead ran her finger down accepting all the required training. Once she accepted them all she got another notification telling her that she had been advanced automatically to First Scout in her template and did she wish to see what the requirements were to advance to Sniper? She quickly agreed and waited for the new screen to pop up.

The first thing it told her was she needed 1500 mod points in Perception, Agility, and Dexterity. She dumped the needed points and went from 450 mod points in each to a whooping fifteen-hundred in each. That chunk of change dropped her mod points from over one-hundred thousand to a bit over seventy-five thousand. Then it told her that she needed one-thousand in both Memory and Processing speed. That took another huge chunk of her mod points. Then looking at what was left she raised her Processing speed another five-hundred points to make it equal to the other points. She did that because it was a primary stat for her flying. Looking at what was left over, she bumped her strength up to a hundred and fifty mostly because that was as much as the mod in her armor would multiply. Knowing what she knew now, she would have gotten a stronger strength mod in her armor.

“Oh well, I’ll know better next time.” She thought to herself. Seeing that she still had a few mod points left, she dumped them into Memory, bringing it up to twelve-hundred and twenty points. That left her with fifteen mod points. She briefly thought about raising her health and or her health regen, but decided to just hold onto them.

Once she added the mod points the list updated for her sniper qualification. A huge list of classes dropped down on the screen. She needed a bunch of pattern recognition classes. The good news was that most of the classes she needed were in the required training list, so she just added the rest. The next part was a long list of leadership and small unit tactics. She had some of the basic ones already done, but the list seemed to be endless. With a third sigh, she added them all. She checked her skill points after adding the classes and winced. What seemed like a wealth of points now seemed like, well, still a wealth of points but much less.

Once she added all those classes, more popped up. With a frustrated growl, she added the new classes. These were on human society, culture, and politics. She nearly screamed as yet more classes popped up, this time on alien behavior, and culture. Some of the classes were college classes. These two categories of classes cost a ton of skill points and she wanted to bang her head against the glass on the console when she saw the total cost. The last part was greyed out as she was already a corporal and First Scout.

With a satisfied sigh, she accepted the skill point changes. She still had a bunch of skill points left over, but with the amount of classes she already had queued, felt burnt out. Saving the rest, she accepted everything and watched her well-earned points total drop like a rock. With a sad sigh, she stepped up to the training facility door and put her palm against the lock. The light turned green and the door opened. With a determined gait, she stepped into the light.

As she stepped out of the light, she found herself in the same stupid graveyard as she had been to before. This time, the instructor had her firing with a boot camp rifle with iron sights at targets downrange, and, at the same time, calling out names from the gravestones beside and behind her. The rifle sights were off so she had to adjust after nearly every shot, and, on top of that, stopping and pulling out her pistol and shooting at the correct gravestones made her miss the bullseye more often than not. She still got good scores on hitting the target down range, but her gravestone target score was poor. She had to keep at it for what seemed hours until she got a good score.

Once she passed, by the skin of her teeth, she was plopped down into a room with a bunch of monitors in it and told to look for suspected terrorists. She wasn’t given any help, like information on the type of person they were looking for. She failed the test over and over again as there didn’t seem to be anything for her to notice. The suspected terrorists were all over the place, from how they dressed to what they looked like. In the end, she only found them by their behavior. They were either angry or scared. The hardest were the people who didn’t have any overt emotion showing. It was only when she compared their visible emotions to everyone else around them that she started to spot them. She was kept in that room for what seemed like forever, before she got consistent and picked out the right ones.

From there, she spent a lot of time doing all sorts of tasks in the graveyard while the instructor shouted out names on the gravestones, interrupting her, as she had to shoot the gravestones. The worst part about all those classes was they were all timed classes. She got better at watching her surroundings while she was busy doing other things. Still she felt like she never really mastered the skill. She was also put into all sorts of situations and told to find all sorts of people, from pickpockets to murderers. Those classes, she figured she was better at than the graveyard tasks.

Those classes went on forever, and she nearly cried in relief when she found herself in a different skill class. These classes were instructional classes on her new weapons. She learned when to use the different rounds for her ASO. If she was looking for penetration and accuracy, she should use the beam setting on her gun. The beam weapon caused low damage to all but heavy-armored vehicles, where it would cause significant damage to the structure of the vehicle. If she was looking for high damage and accuracy, then she should use the ballistic round that was covered in an electromatic cocoon. If she had multiple targets, then she found the ballistic round without the cocoon was the recommended choice.

The Irish Nestor was an easier weapon to use. She just had to remember not to fire it when her target was close to her or a friendly target, as the explosive round could cause injury around her intended target. It wasn’t bad, but she did have to watch where she was firing. It was a fun gun to fire as it had both semi and fully automatic settings on it. She just had to remember the gun also had a big kick to it so, while it did have the full automatic setting on it, she didn’t think she would use it all that often.

She would have been bored senseless with her leadership classes if it was possible in digital training. She was taught how to praise people in public, and how to scold people. Contrary to what she saw on TV, it was sometimes okay to scold a person in public if you were trying to get a point across to everyone around that person. She was cautioned only to use that technique rarely, as it did bad things to morale. For all other times, scolding a person was to be done in private. The hardest part was learning how to listen to the people under her, but at the same time still make up her own mind when it came to decisions. The instructor made sure to point out that, while the people under her had valid advice, she was running the operation and needed to make sure that her decisions would get it done.

After going through those leadership and morale classes, she was told to throw most of that out as she was to focus on the mission and the operation. She was instructed to remember them, but focus on the mission. It was both an annoying and enlightening experience. Learning to see the bigger picture was enlightening. She was put through fake sim missions where she had to lead a squad in an operation. Once each mission was completed, she had to sit through a debriefing that told her how well she did in the overall mission. It focused only lightly on what she had done, and more on how her mission affected the overall operation. She was then put back in the fake sim missions and told to think of the bigger picture. That led her to do some side objectives that would put her and her squad in greater danger, but would help the overall operation.

The cultural and political classes really opened her eyes. She had no idea she was so prejudiced against certain governments. She was taught how to look at a government and see how it affected the people, both economically and in terms of standard of living. Just because a planet was poor and it was a form of government she was taught to dislike didn’t mean it was a bad government. If the people were mostly happy, then did it really matter if they could do something better? On top of that, she was shown how changing the government would affect the people it governed. Sometimes it was best to just leave the government in place and let it do its job. The best change of governing style came as a slow change instead of a rapid one. Fast changes tended to create chaos.

She went from that to small unit tactics. It made her smile at the opposing messages she was getting. Some of the stuff she learned were no-brainers, like never argue in an active combat setting, while others were a bit more subtle, like how fear changed a battlefield. She learned how to go behind enemy lines and create an opposing force from the inside. Her instructor praised her efforts in her last mission, but then went over them and showed her how she could have done better. In fact, she showed her how she could have caused enough chaos that her battalion could have taken over the planet before the Raja arrived.

On and on her classes went. She liked the alien classes. It showed her how very alien some cultures were. That was even before she learned about the truly alien cultures where nothing they did made sense to a human. She was taught how to discover more about an alien culture - to look at what was deemed important. To find that, she would have to look at their history and figure out why they did things the way they did. It was extremely tough to do without adding in personal bias. It was also hard to know when to start. Did you start with a seed to a tree or do you start with how the trees came to grow in the valley? Or even back further to how the valley was formed? With all the information they were throwing at her, she figured she knew why these classes were labeled college-level classes.

When she was done, finally, with all her skills training, she nearly made the mistake of leaving. Remembering at the last minute that she added thousands of mods to her body, she was able to pay ten credits to slowly get used to the mods. It took a lot longer than she expected, but, in the end and with a lot of meditation, she allowed herself to exit the training facility.
