"You should go first."
Zhao Luo said to Xiao Yu while Xiao Yu looked reluctant as he had his finger pointed at Zhao Luo.
"No. It should be definitely you who gets this turn."
Xiao Yu said since Zhao Luo was the one who had defeated him.
Both stared at each other for a while just for there to be broken of by the Senior Elder who had a charming smile on her face.
'Is she going to pick one of us?'
Zhao Luo wondered.
IF that would be the case, then he had no choice but to follow her decision.
Zhao Luo had already prepared his mind just in case, the Senior Elder would pick him to go first.
"Why not the both of you let the more handsome one go first?"
"Obviously then it would be me."
As she told them how Zhao Luo and Xiao Yu should deal with this, Xiao Yu was already answering her.
He even had his hand on the ball and looked ready to take in a long deep breath.
"You know that's not true."
Zhao Luo whispered in Xiao Yu's ears but he only got a smile in return.
Soon, a color was rising on the ball.
The red color covered half of the ball and just like water being filled in a cup, the round glass ball looked the same.
But, then a white layer covered the red as if it was a cream layer on fruit cake but that wasn't the end. As Xiao Yu focused more of his breath on the ball, after which the blue color started taking root from the white layer.
"A triple color core."
The Senior Elder clapped her hands in surprise.
"I can't believe that there is a junior who has a triple-colored core."
Even Zhao Luo thought of it as something extraordinary.
'I knew he was somewhat special.'
Zhao Luo mumbled while looking seriously at Xiao Yu.
Even though he had defeated him once, it didn't mean that he would be stronger than him always.
The three stared at the ball whose lower part was red, and the upper part was blue, while both colored parts were divided by a white line.
"So am I allowed to choose freely between the three doors?"
Xiao Yu asked the Senior Elder while pointing at the blue, red, and white door.

"Yes."
The Senior Elder answered Xiao Yu and still found him looking at him with begging eyes.
"Hah, i would recommend the white door."
She said to him with a slight laugh.
Xiao Yu smiled and then bowed to the other before looking at Zhao Luo.
"One day, you will be as handsome as me, Brother."
Xiao Yu told Zhao Luo while patting his head.
Listening to Xiao Yu's words, Zhao Luo couldn't help but smile and shake his head.
"I will try my best. Good luck."
Zhao Luo followed along with Xiao Yu's little comic advance.
Xiao Yu nodded at Zhao Luo's words and Zhao Luo saw his back as he moved towards the white door.
The next instant Xao Yu disappeared as he passed through the white door and only Zhao Luo was left there.
"It's your turn."
The Senior Elder said to Zhao Luo who was still staring at the white door.
'I wonder what color my core has.'
Zhao Luo wondered while taking a deep breath and placing his hand on the ball.
'Now, focus it on the ball.'
Zhao Luo mumbled the words of the senior elder as he focused the air he had breathed in towards his hands and then the ball.
The cloud which seemed to be trapped in the ball was instantly swallowed up towards the base of the ball.
A red color covered the ball, and the next moment it was swallowed up too.
'What?'
Zhao Luo was shocked and looked at the Senior Elder who looked more shocked than him.
"Continue."
Suddenly she said to Zhao Luo since Zhao Luo was going to pull his hand away from the ball.
The Senior Elder was already grabbing his arm and had an urging look on her face.
'Nod.'
Zhao Luo nodded and focused on the ball.
One after another, three more colors appeared separately but just when Zhao Luo would think that this color was the color of his core, it would be swallowed up by the base of the ball.
Lastly, a black color enveloped the ball. A dark shine that couldn't be illuminated by any light seemed to have come alive inside the ball.
'Crack.'
The Senior Elder pulled Zhao Luo's arm away causing his hand to be pulled off the ball just when a crack had appeared on the ball.

"You have a black core."
The Senior Elder told Zhao Luo but then gently smacked her own head since even a baby would have realized that by now.
'PHsSSssHH.'
The ball broke down and turned to dust as black smoke emanated from inside it.
"Now go."
While Zhao Luo was lost in his thoughts, he heard the Senior Elder's voice and looked at her.
She was forcing a smile on her face while trying to change her tone.
'Nod.'
Zhao Luo nodded at her before heading towards the black door and stopped just in front of the door in the middle.
'It's dark.'
The space of the door was darkness itself.
Zhao Luo took a step in and then vanished from the walkway.
"He is really special."
A melodious voice left her mouth whilst the Senior Elders watched Zhao Luo enter the door.
She felt a little lonely, even though the walkway was still crowded.
There were many who were whispering among each other while looking at the shattered ball since they had witnessed everything. Right at the beginning from Senior Cutie's turn to Zhao Luo's.
The only thing that remained now was to let this be known to the other inner disciples.
Many disciples left the Amogus building, instead of passing through a door to enter a lecture hall.
Their intentions were clear but Zhao Luo had no idea about it and how could he have, since he was already standing in an unfamiliar place.
"Where am I?"
Zhao Luo wondered as he looked around.
Right behind was a ball, unlike the door he had passed through.
An enclosed space that was big enough to hold around a hundred students and a raised platform at the other end from where Zhao Luo was standing at.
This was the place Zhao Luo was in.
A man sat on the platform with his back towards Zhao Luo but since the difference between them was more than 200 feet, Zhao Luo could barely make out his appearance.
"Oh, I came here just in case, but who knew that someone would come."
The man said with a thundering voice.
Not only was his voice was familiar to Zhao Luo but it had a magical essence to it that slowly changed the hall, Zhao Luo and the man were in.
As though lamps were lighting up one after another, the hall was now three times brighter than before.
The walls of the hall had come to life and within them, dragons with different shapes seemed to be waking up as they flew from one part of the wall to another.
Some dragons weren't holding anything back as they engaged in something which in human terms would be, 'Netflix and Chill', and Zhao Luo who was left speechless by such a surprising event happening in the wall between many pairs of dragons moved his eyes away from the walls.
'The art has come to life.'
Zhao Luo realized and then looked at the one who had just spoken a few words and the whole space of the hall had changed.
At this moment, both Zhao Luo and the man didn't know of each other's identity and Zhao Luo moved towards the man by taking slow yet strong steps.
While the man still kept his back towards Zhao Luo.
A hundred feet away from the man, Zhao Luo who was taking slow steps had a surprising look on his face.
"What a strong pressure."
The pressure was there since the start but before Zhao Luo wasn't affected by it.
After entering the hundred feet distance, there was a big jump in the pressure so Zhao Luo instantly felt it.
Now Zhao Luo was using his strength to take a step forward as he moved towards the man on the platform.
'So I am not worthy to see your face till I reach you.'
Zhao Luo could guess why he had to see the back of the mysterious yet familiar man who looked close but because of the pressure, it was hard to reach him.
"Oh, you are good."
The man on the platform also mumbled as he could feel the disciple approaching him even under the immense pressure that was falling on him.
'Who could it be?'
The man raised one of his brows as he thought about all the disciples who could have a black core.
'It could be anyone.'
He laughed and waited for Zhao Luo to approach him.
On the other hand, Zhao Luo who was now fifty feet away from the platform looked grim.
"The pressure increased by two folds."
Zhao Luo could 'feel' his bones getting crushed under the pressure that was falling on him.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
