《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 291: Amogus, the Lecture Hall

Listening to Zhao Luo's question which he had asked Senior Cutie, everyone present there also looked around.
Right when they had entered this zone after passing through the door, their attention had shifted to Senior Cutie who was already waiting for Zhao Luo there.
But now, their attention finally shifted to the zone of the inner hall, they were currently in.
"Hmmm."
Brother Sang seemed to be lost in his thought as he wondered about what to call this zone since the third zone didn't have a name.
"There is no name for this zone since all the disciples call it The Inner Hall's City."
Brother Sang answered Zhao Luo which also enlightened the others.
"Interesting."
Zhao Luo mumbled since he had already realized for things to be so.
A little further away there were numerous buildings that had circular structures.
Each building had a golden plaque at the entrance of each building which had shiny words carved on it.
Brother Sang looked at the buildings before turning back to Zhao Luo and the others.
"Do you know what happens after an inner disciple reaches the ninth level '∆' of Bronze rank?"
Brother Sang asked them while pointing towards his badge.
"Th-"
Si Chen who had just opened his mouth to guess the answer was interrupted instant.
"Obviously, you all don't. So, I will tell you about it."
Si Chen nodded his head at Brother Sang's words while Zhao Luo smiled.
'He hasn't changed.'
Zhao Luo thought while looking at Brother Sang who was telling them about their near future.
"If they are talented and geniuses, one of the ten elders can take them as their direct disciple. If they are average, then they are advanced to a junior elder. Some stay with that title for the rest of their life since they are unable to cross the middle boundary of silver rank. Those who go beyond it are called Senior Elders. But even though have the title of an elder, many of them are still the disciples of one of the Ten Elders."
Brother Sang told them the hierarchy of the disciples after they surpass the bronze rank and many of them wondered where they would end up.
"Then there are those who can enter the gold rank, like the ten elders and the Sect Leader. But till now nobody knows how many disciples have entered the gold rank since they are the core disciples of the Sect and most of them are rumored to be the successor candidates."

As the word, successor came up, Senior Cutie and the others looked at Zhao Luo.
Zhao Luo was also taken back.
'So, that must be why he had asked me to become his student.'
Zhao Luo remembered the time when Xin Wang had asked him to be his student.
'I would have become a core disciple right away.'
Zhao Luo wondered but he wasn't envious since how could something like being a core disciple match against what he was aiming at.
"But, don't worry. You guys should focus on increasing your strength. Every week, a few lectures are held by junior elders in the lecture hall called 'Amogus'. A lecture may be starting soon which will be benefitting for you, Brothers."
Brother Sang pointed at the biggest building.
The building was round in shape and looked more like a colosseum but the walls were different.
The plaque on top of the main door had a word written on it.
( AMOGUS )
Zhao Luo looked at the plaque and read the name which sounded more like a devilish chant that some possessed kid would be repeating at night in front of his fridge.
'But whatever.'
Zhao Luo shook his head to get rid of the irrelevant thought and focused on the word. Each of the letters of 'Amogus' was connected. The 'A' seemed to be the tail of a dragon while the upper part of the 'S' seemed to be its's head which gave off the feeling that the dragon was trying to leave the golden plaque.
In this setting, the plaque seemed like the evening sky and the word carved into it was just a lonely dragon that was trying to go past its limit which was the sky.
"Brother, it seems like you have understood the meaning behind the word on the plaque."
Brother Sang whispered in Zhao Luo's ear as he had already seen the changing look in his eyes as Zhao Luo had continued to stare at the plaque.
'Nod.'
Zhao Luo nodded as Brother Sang was indeed right.
He looked around and found the others looking at the plaque with wide eyes too.
"Senior Cutie, can you see it?"
Zhao Luo asked since he was standing right beside him.
"Yes."
Senior Cutie mumbled with a serious look on his face.
'So he can see the struggling dragon too.'

Zhao Luo realized how insightful Senior Cutie was but the next moment he was left speechless.
"I can see the weirdness in it. Why carve such a strange word on a golden plaque?"
"Right."
"Senior, that's what I was wondering too."
As Senior Cutie continued what he was saying, the others also added their perspective of the plaque and the name of the lecture hall.
"Hah."
Brother Sang laughed before telling them and Zhao Luo to proceed towards the lecture hall, Amogus.
"Let's go."
They all proceeded towards the entrance of the building.
Zhao Luo who was looking forward to it found many inner disciples also going towards it.
'What will the junior elders even teach that can help these seniors too?'
Zhao Luo realized that there were even many high-level inner disciples that were making their way towards the entrance.
The door was similar to the ones they had encountered before. The space of the door looked endless and dark but they could feel eyes that were staring right at them from the other side.
Zhao Luo, Senior Cutie, Xiao Yu, Feng Ma, Si Chen, Pi Hao, and Big Bean, all entered the doors one after another.
The seven appeared inside a big hall of the building which was supposed to be the lecture hall and Zhao Luo who was in the lead was baffled for a moment.
They had appeared in the walkway just like all the inner disciples who had entered before them and who were coming after them.
The walkway led to five doors.
Green, Red, Black, White, Blue.
Except for the black door, the inner disciples kept on entering inside one of the other four doors.
Not one inner disciple stopped before the doors showing that they knew which door they had to pass through.
Zhao Luo felt like a villager who had just entered a city for the first time.
'Which door should I enter?'
Zhao Luo wondered and that was also what the others were doing at the moment.
They had no idea on which door should they walk in through.
"Brother, nobody's going inside the back door. We should go there."
Si Chen told Zhao Luo as he pointed at the third door.
"No, we should enter the blue door, since that's where most of the disciples are entering through."
Xiao Yu rejected Si Chen's idea as he presented his own.
But how could the others follow Si Chen and Xiao Yu without even knowing what was behind those doors?
"I think we should do it like this."
Feng Ma got down and placed his wine flask on the ground.
"What are you doing?"
Zhao Luo asked as this was the first time Feng Ma had placed his flask on the ground like this.
"I will spin it. You should all choose a door and if the flask's head stops at you then everyone will enter through the door that you have chosen."
Feng Ma left everyone speechless with his creative side as he told them his plan.
Even Zhao Luo was impressed. Even though they all knew that Feng Ma was strong but nobody knew that he was smart too.
A new side of his was finally shining and everyone had chosen a door while Si Chen and Xiao Yu were still on Black and Blue, respectively.
Zhao Luo decided to just watch and stand out of the circle that the others were making.
Since there were five doors, so he didn't have to participate in it. Feng Ma tightened his grip around the flask before giving it a spin.
*Whistle*
A whistle blew and Zhao Luo looked in the direction where the sound was coming from.
A gorgeous lady seemed to be looking at him with a mischievous look in her eyes.
Zhao Luo left but it wasn't only him. The others around him also felt the same, even Senior Cutie was mesmerized by the gorgeous female disciple on the other side and followed behind Zhao Luo.
Only Feng Ma was left behind who was sitting there with his eyes fixed on his wine flask which was spinning rapidly.
"Brothers, it's stopping. Hahah-"
Feng Ma said without knowing that Zhao Luo and the others had already left.
"Where did everyone go?"
'Tsk'
He mumbled while clicking his tongue.
This was the first time he had shown his clever side to them and now no one was there to witness the result.
"Here."
Zhao Luo shouted at Feng Ma and Feng Ma looked towards the five doors.
A little further away from the green door, a reception was there, and Zhao Luo and the others were already standing there.
"What are they doing there?"
Feng Ma grabbed his wine flask and rushed towards them.

Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
