"Bam!"
"What are you here for?"
Zhao Luo asked Senior Cutie after closing the main door.
He also followed behind him as Senior Cutie turned around to look at him.
"Didn't you want to help Little Pi Hao and that Xiao Yu in their missions?"
Senior Cutie questioned Zhao Luo in return.
"I want to but what does it have to do with you being here?"
'Even though I know he would be joining us, there is no reason to come here so early.'
Zhao Luo thought but as he looked at the smirk on Senior Cutie's face.
'Unless...'
"Are we going to go to the mission zone? Now?"
Zhao Luo stared at Senior Cutie and continued to ask him.
'If he is talking about the missions then we may be going to the mission zone now.'
Zhao Luo guessed but wasn't sure of the details himself.
"Yeah, we are. Since it's already morning, we will have a better chance to get a good mission. And if there are many options, we can select all five at the same time."
Senior Cutie explained to Zhao Luo as he waited for Pi Hao and Xiao Yu to arrive at Zhao Luo's place.
"We can select many at the same time?"
"Yes. Even though all A-rank missions are worth 20 points, their difficulty varies. Not only that, every day there is a flock of such missions and without a limit, you can choose any number you want. Since we will be taking the A-rank missions and both, Xiao Yu and Little Pi Hao, need to complete five of them, we can select the five missions that would be easy for us to deal with."
Senior Cutie told Zhao Luo about how the missions of the mission hall worked.

"But remember, taking on the missions is just the start. Even though there is no limit, nobody has ever taken two A-rank missions at the same time. Not even a group of disciples has done that. That is just how hard and tiring the A-Rank missions are."
"I see. Well, there is always a first for everything, and we four shall be the first ones to do this."
Zhao Luo replied with a confident tone.
'This way, I will be able to go all out too.'
He realized how big of a chance these missions would be providing him.
A chance to give it his all against different kinds of hurdles.
"Knock, Knock."
While Zhao Luo was going over the details the main door was knocked on twice by someone.
Zhao Luo turned around and opened his mouth.
"Who's there?"
"Joe."
"Joe, who?"
A series of exchanges were made between Zhao Luo and the one who had knocked on the door.
"It must be Joe Ma, one of the disciples who always run errands for Mo Suo."
Senior Cutie told Zhao Luo as Zhao Luo proceeded to open the door.
"What do you want?"
Zhao Luo questioned the short guy who had knocked on the door a while ago.
Joe Ma was a little tanned and had brown hair with an average structure, he was a foot shorter than Zhao Luo.
"B-brother Zhao Luo, I am here to take Master Mo Suo's stuff back."
The disciple named Joe Ma stuttered as he evaded Zhao Luo's eyes while speaking to him.
Zhao Luo looked at the disciple and found a level six black badge on his chest.
'So he has been bullying these disciples.'
Zhao Luo wondered as he looked at the scared disciple in front of him.

"Listen, Joe."
Zhao Luo patted his shoulder and took out a gold coin from his storage space.
'Fwish.'
'Clap.'
Zhao Luo tossed the coin to Joe Ma who awkwardly grabbed it while making a clapping sound.
"You don't have to run errands for him. If he asks you for his stuff, just tell him that I burned his stuff. Okay?"
Zhao Luo told Joe Ma as he patted his shoulder again.
Joe Ma looked stupefied. He wasn't worried about what Mo Suo would do to him as all of his concentration was on the gold coin in his hand.
'He used to give me ten silver coins once a month after pushing me around like a slave. While Brother Zhao Luo gave me a gold coin for doing nothing.'
Joe Ma looked up as he gazed at Zhao Luo with respect and worship in his eyes.
His mind was calculating the rewards he had just gotten.
'1 gold coin is equal to 100 silver coins. I just got paid for ten months.'
'Thud!'
Joe Ma's knees landed on the ground as he looked at Zhao Luo with tears rolling down his bright eyes.
"..."
"Thank you, brother."
Zhao Luo who was confused for a moment hurriedly helped Joe Ma up.
"It's okay. Now go and train since only strength will help you when it counts."
Zhao Luo told him as he strongly held the side of his shoulder.
'Hopefully, he can increase his strength.'
Zhao Luo hoped the best for this short disciple brother of his.
Joe Ma nodded while feeling the warmth of this generous handsome senior of his.
With tears of joy rolling down his face Joe Ma departed from the main door of Zhao Luo's place.
Zhao Luo felt relieved.
'It would have been bad if he insisted on getting my (Mo Suo's) items.'
Zhao Luo shook his head and slowly raised his hand to close the door.
"Wait."
Senior Cutie who had been looking at the charitable side of Zhao Luo walked towards him.
"We should leave too."
Senior Cutie told Zhao Luo as he moved past him and exited the palace.
Zhao Luo also followed along with his senior while wondering.
'What's the hurry.'
Just when Zhao Luo had such a thought, he looked ahead and found Xiao Yu and Pi Hao coming towards him from the direction where Joe Ma had gone.
"Oh, they are here."
Zhao Luo mumbled.
"Zhao Luo, you bastard."
Xiao Yu cursed Zhao Luo as he reached them.
"What?"
Zhao Luo furrowed his brows as he glared at Xiao Yu.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
