Listening to Zhao Luo's announcement after carefully going over Senior Cutie's explanation, the others also started giving out their plans.
"I will go with you too."
'Tap.'
"To the inner hall."
Si Chen walked forward while telling Zhao Luo his decision.
'I want to walk alongside Brother Zhao Luo from now on.'
Si Chen was already very determined to be with Zhao Luo in his journey as he advances to an inner disciple.
"Good."
Zhao Luo felt elated as he looked at Si Chen coming forward like this.
'It's like I am moving to an upper grade with a friend.'
Zhao Luo smiled as such an innocent popped up in his head.
He looked at the others and nobody was hesitant, at least there was no expression of hesitation on their face and their steps.
The others also looked determined like Si Chen.
"I want to advance too."
Feng Ma said to Zhao Luo and Senior Cutie, even though he had recently advanced to the eighth level.
"These recent battles have improved me so much that I need to test myself again."
Feng Ma said while looking at Zhao Luo but this was something that he was telling himself.
Zhao Luo calmly looked at Si Chen and Feng Ma.
"Don't worry. I will wait for you two."
Zhao Luo showed them a smile while bringing his hands up and placing them on their shoulders.
"Brother.."
Both Si Chen and Feng Ma felt glad.
Now they just had to reach level nine '∆' by surpassing the threshold of strength.
"I have already completed eleven missions so I just need to take the test."
"What? Only eleven? I have 12 on me."
Si Chen and Feng Ma started discussing with each other.

Zhao Luo smiled deeply as he looked at his brothers talking with each other, just then, a hot breath entered his ear, giving him an exciting feeling.
"Wait for me too!"
Mo Anna whispered in Zhao Luo's ear with her pleasing voice.
'Nod, Nod.'
Zhao Luo who had been enchanted by her charming voice hurriedly nodded his head.
"Little Brother, will you wait for me too?"
"Fhoo~"
Senior Cutie closed in on Zhao Luo's other ear and whispered after which he blew a gentle breath causing Zhao Luo to shiver as though he was having seizures.
"You..."
"Senior, you are already a level nine '∆', so you should advance already."
Zhao Luo coldly said to Senior Cutie.
"Ah, how hurtful. You treat the little princess so gently and yet you don't even look at your gentle brother. How Hurtful!"
Senior Cutie cried out with an evil grin on his face.
Zhao Luo was dumbfounded by the shamefulness of his bald senior.
*giggle*
Mo Anna giggle while a sense of relief loomed over her.
'He has good friends.'
She thought as she glanced at the others and found Zhao Luo in the middle of all their decisions and plans.
Zhao Luo calmed down as he heard Mo Anna's delightful laughter.
"Zhao Luo."
Xiao Yu said loudly.
"Xiao Yu."
A flash passed Zhao Luo's eyes as Xiao Yu walked towards him.
"I will meet you in the inner hall."
Xiao Yu said to Zhao Luo with a serious look in his eyes.
"Well, and?"
'There is no way you just wanted to say this.'
Zhao Luo already knew how Xiao Yu was like.
He was a person who hardly completed what he wanted to say.
Showing a cold demeanor while having a gentle nature.

"A-And I need to complete the missions, so it will take some tim-"
"So you are a slacker."
Zhao Luo unconsciously interrupted Xiao Yu while listening to what he wanted to say.
"You basta-"
"Oh, I mean it's okay. I can wait."
Zhao Luo patted Xiao Yu's shoulder while cutting off him again.
'Ah, I want to beat this guy.'
Xiao Yu thought but he couldn't help but nod his head.
"I..."
Pi Hao was left behind while the others were telling their plan and how they wanted to tag along with Zhao Luo and advance as an inner disciple.
"I need to complete missions too."
Pi Hao who had been in the outer hall for more than two years was also in the same boat as Xiao Yu.
"So you were slack- tsk."
Zhao Luo clicked his tongue as his tongue kept on spewing words that would piss anyone if these words were directed towards them.
"What were you busy with?"
Zhao Luo took a different path than before as he asked for the reason.
"I was trying to master my Water-Metal Technique."
"I spent two years honing my fist technique and yet you broke it so easily, with a single punch."
Pi Hao's eyes were filled with respect as he looked at Zhao Luo like he had been reunited with his long-lost father.
"Ah, I just trained more."
Zhao Luo didn't want to undermine Pi Hao's technique thus he went with the words that would give Pi Hao hope that no other words could.
'So I just need to train harder.'
Pi Hao clenched his fist while looking at Zhao Luo.
"Since everyone wants to advance to the inner hall..."
Zhao Luo looked at them.
None of the six disciples around him wanted to wait another year to participate in the outer hall tournament.
"Then let's advance together."
Zhao Luo didn't leave behind Xiao Yu and Pi Hao.
"Let's complete the missions."
Zhao Luo looked at Xiao Yu and Pi Hao as he told them.
"Hmm."
Senior Cutie stepped forward and made some space as he jumped up between them causing all of them to take a step back.
"Do you know how many mission points you need? 100!"
Senior Cutie suddenly told Zhao Luo while glancing between Pi Hao and Xiao Yu.
"So?"
Zhao Luo rubbed his ear as he asked Senior Cutie.
'Why is he overreacting now?'
Zhao Luo thought but Senior Cutie kept going on about it.
"You will need to complete five A rank missions to get that many points. And each A-rank mission is -"
"Hard."
Zhao Luo interrupted him as he also knew that since he had heard it from Senior Cutie before too.
"It's just five missions.
Zhao Luo nonchalantly said as he folded his hands in front of his chest.

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.

Protagonist: The Whims of Gods
Book one now also on Amazon! After quitting her job as a therapist and grabbing some work at a dog shelter, Tess's life became pretty slow. A tad boring, even. It thus came as no small surprise when she was chosen by a god. Thrust into a new world where magic, monsters, and character levels are suddenly a reality, Tess will quickly find that just surviving can be a challenge. It doesn't help that dark forces are stirring, she's woefully underpowered, and that spiders keep trying to claw her face off. One thing's for certain, though: The possibilities are endless. Will she end up wrestling a dragon? Becoming an arch-mage? Opening a quaint, bookstore, coffee shop, and wine bar for elves? The choice is hers... As long as she can live long enough to make it. Protagonist is a fairly classic LitRPG novel with character levels, classes, stats, settlements, and other LitRPG elements. Unlike a lot of LitRPG stories, while the protagonist has some perks, she doesn't start off overpowered. You can expect to see her struggle as she advances. This novel also takes the opportunity to explore some less frequently seen builds, shying away from any min-maxing. Chapters are about ~2000-3000 words and are released at 8:00am ET every other day.

Margrave's Divinity (Rewrite)
Power always comes with a price. Seventeen years ago, obsidian towers thousands of feet tall erupted from the earth near the world’s population centers. Strange magic accompanied their appearance—powerful and inexplicable abilities granted to lucky humans, called Embers for the burning in their eyes. Lyle isn’t lucky, though. When the recently-unemployed college dropout finally manages to get his hands on a Cinder, he is utterly disappointed to find that he will never be an Ember like his father or brother. Before he even has time to process his failure, a strange Ember shoves him through a tear in reality and into the cave of a dragon, where the titanic beast claims to be an ancient goddess of myth and legend. She has a gift for him, but it comes with a warning. War is coming. --- Posting Thursdays and Sundays at 8am Central. Confused about the rewrite? See my letter to previous readers here.
