《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 153: Training The First Step To Enter The Calming Fist Plane

Zhao Luo stored the book in his storage space.
The awkward smile on his face was still there.
"Is it even possible?"
Zhao Luo questioned himself.
"Even though it sounded easy, but is it really easy?"
Zhao Luo mumbled with worry but didn't stop walking towards the mountain.
"I should try it, and then summon my apparitions."
Zhao Luo decided on what actions he would be taking.
Even though the instruction to each step was to do a thousand punches in a sequence but it didn't matter to Zhao Luo.
Since his apparitions would just become a part of him, so he could distribute the 1000 punches with them.
"Each of us would only need to do 100 of these punches and step one will be completed."
Zhao Luo said as he stood straight in front of the mountain.
The smile from earlier had disappeared and now he had a calm expression on his face.
His mind held no more confusions or doubts as he clenched his fist.
"This is just a warm-up."
Zhao Luo pulled his arm back and threw a fist at the mountain with all of his strength.
'...'
The only thing that had changed now was that Zhao Luo's speed was 20 times slower.
After a second, Zhao Luo's knuckles were infinitely close to the mountain.
They were so close, that not even an ant could fit in the space between his fist and the mountain.
'Now.'
Zhao Luo realized that this was the time when he had to diminish his strength and make his full strength punch, a powerless jab.
Zhao Luo's arm muscles tightened and a bulge appeared on his shoulder.
It looked like he was holding something back from reaching his hand.
The next instant a vein popped up on his forehead.

If others could see him, they would definitely say the same thing.
("Oh look, that guy is barely holding his shit.")
But in the dark space, there was no one except Zhao Luo.
His powerless jab fell on the mountain and two sounds rang out instantly.
'Ting!'
"AHHH."
A very light sound of his fist colliding with the surface of the mountain came out, which was followed by Zhao Luo's shrill scream.
The cause of the scream was so unexpected that Zhao Luo unconsciously screamed like a teen girl.
Jumping backward, Zhao Luo hurriedly looked at his arm.
"My bones..."
Zhao Luo said with a tragic voice while he stared at his arm which looked thicker than ever and sturdier like a tree trunk.
"..are fine."
Zhao Luo who felt like the bones in his arm had been crushed, felt them with his other hand and realized that he was wrong.
"Why is my arm swelling?"
Zhao Luo wondered without a conclusion.
He took out the book which contained the Bullet Fist out of his storage and hurriedly flipped the papers to arrive at the page where the Calming Fist Plane was explained.
Zhao Luo's gaze went from the start of the page to the end in a matter of few seconds then his eyes trembled.
"There is nothing about this pain mentioned here."
Zhao Luo mumbled as unlike the explanation of Explosive Fist Plane where it was specifically mentioned that he had to train till his fists crumbled apart, here there was no such thing.
"Hmm."
Zhao Luo's index finger was on the tip of the page, a single movement away from turning the page.
Zhao Luo's gaze hovered on the top part of the page, where the founder had used the predictive speech and depreciated him, in case Zhao Luo was on this page without entering the Explosive Fist Plane.

"There may be the same thing on the next page without an answer."
Zhao Luo wondered while thinking a step ahead for his problem at hand.
After wondering for a minute.
'Thud!'
He closed the book and stored it.
Zhao Luo got up and checked his right arm again and found it back to normal.
"It's recovered."
He had understood the training process, now he just had to complete it 100 times without making a mistake.
"SUMMON!"
Zhao Luo said and his apparitions formed in front of him.
'Nod.'
'Nod.'
Zhao Luo nodded at them and they nodded back at him.
There was already a mutual understanding between him and his apparitions who knew what their task was.
Zhao Luo walked towards the mountain and his apparitions did the same.
"Won't it take me less than a minute to complete this?"
Zhao Luo scratched his head.
Even though the process could prove to be extremely painful and uncomfortable but it didn't last for long.
"Whatever."
Zhao Luo said as he pulled his arm back and started punching the mountain.
Turning his strong punches to light jabs, so light that even a feather wouldn't be disturbed by it.
'...'
'...'
'...'
No sound was produced as Zhao Luo and his apparitions punched the mountain.
A few seconds passed and the silence continued.
But then, "BANG!"
Someone had made a mistake.
Being unable to dissipate all his power before coming in contact with the surface of the mountain caused this sound to echo around the dark space while disturbing the others.
Zhao Luo looked down as he was the one who had made this mistake right after 39 punches.
"Bang!
Bang!
Bang!.."
One after another the apparitions also failed, joining Zhao Luo in his grumpy moment.
"Again!"
Zhao Luo said angrily without caring about his throbbing arm.
"It's just 100 punches..."
Zhao Luo mumbled as he started punching the surface again.
'...'
'...'
'...'
Again soundless and light collisions started taking place on the mountain's surface.
After a few more seconds, Zhao Luo failed again.
"Tsk."
He clicked his tongue as this time he had failed even earlier, that is, at the 15th punch of his left fist.
"AGAIN."
Zhao Luo started punching the mountain again right away.
The cycle of failing and resuming continued for hours without any break.
Two sounds could be heard every minute at least once.
"Bang!"
Someone not being able to control their strength, mostly Zhao Luo.
"Again!"
Zhao Luo voice ordering himself and his apparitions to continue.
But will he be able to achieve the calming fist plane?
While such doubts filled his mind, a whole day had already passed.

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
