《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 93: Meeting Mite Again

Zhao Luo was feeling nonchalant while surrounded by the others.
While Zhao Luo and the others with him all chattered and tried to catch on with each other, the disciples who were here to participate in the moonstone challenge were taking their turns.
Every time ruckus would break out whenever the middle pillar where Zhao Luo had stood while taking his turn would be empty. Everyone would be challenging each other for that spot which was the 7th pillar.
'They have changed.'
Zhao Luo would glance towards the disciple on the ring and the others who were surrounding the ring with eager faces.
Even though they were able to participate in this challenge twice a year, the disciples that he had seen when he had joined the sect were slackers.
Something had changed them, Zhao Luo could see from the enthusiasm they were showing just to take the spot where had once stood.
"Who could have made them change this much in such a short time?"
Zhao Luo mumbled unconsciously.
It was a weird feeling to watch everyone trying hard when he was aiming for the top. It was like soon more challenges will pop up.
Zhao Luo turned around to look towards his companions but was shocked to see them staring at him.
Feng Mei, Yan, Wu Yang, Mo Lee, Su Shi, and even Wei Bin were looking at him as if the answer to this whole change didn't know that.
"Hahaha."
Zhao Luo laughed awkwardly as he remembered Mo Lee's speech when he had asked to swap places with him.
'Guess I am creating trouble for myself...but it's nice to see everyone working hard.'
Zhao Luo thought but he didn't mind.
The more challenges that came up to him, the more powerful he would get.
'From challenges...."
Zhao Luo wondered as he looked at Wu Yang.
"Wu Yang, what's the third mission?"
Zhao Luo implored Wu Yang.
It was time that he knew what the third mission was. He had already cleared the second mission and the last mission was a difficult one, so he should just complete the third mission while he is here.
"Good timing. It will open tomorrow. As for what the test is..."
Wu Yang answered Zhao Luo as he shifted his gaze to another ring.
The others looked towards the ring too.

The ring did have tools up there but nobody could confirm what those tools or instruments were as they were covered with a cloth. The ring was enveloped with that mysterious cloth.
Zhao Luo felt a familiar feeling as he looked at that ring. He then looked back at the pillars of the moonstone challenge on the ring in front of him.
'That's why I didn't remember seeing these pillars. I never saw these pillars as they were covered with this same cloth yesterday. But why don't they open all the challenges together?'
Zhao Luo had a question arising in his mind but before he could put more thought into his question Wu Yang spoke.
"The test is memorizing and understanding. As for what you will be doing the two things for will be clear tomorrow."
Wu Yang told them.
"Memorizing?"
Zhao Luo questioned with a strange expression.
"Yes."
Wu Yang replied hardly as he closed his eyes for some reason.
After watching his reaction, Zhao Luo already realized how hard this test was going to be when even Wu Yang had to make a sh*t eating expression.
"Sigh"
Zhao Luo let out a sigh that showed that he had been let down.
But it wasn't just him.
The cute little girl from the Royal Feng's was also looking confused.
"Do I have to study even after coming to the sect too?"
Feng Mei questioned with teary eyes.
Her whole life, she just had to study. The more responsibilities that fell on her shoulder, the more knowledge she had to acquire to act as a person worthy of the title, Queen.
Tap!
"Don't worry. We will be together."
Zhao Luo patted and assured Feng Mei as he looked towards the others. She wasn't alone anymore.
"Mhmm."
Feng Mei stopped thinking about the next challenge.
'How much did they make her study that she has a trauma of studying?'
Zhao Luo thought with anger building up inside his mind.
"Stop exaggerating. The test isn't even about studying. It's like memorizing chants and techniques. Depends on your luck."
Wu Yang suddenly added after watching the small interaction between Zhao Luo and Feng Mei.
"Then why did you have to show us that expression?"
Zhao Luo questioned Wu Yang as he was the reason for their anxiety.

"Ah, that, I was thinking about the fourth mission. I don't think anyone else can even do it as you are the only one who is barely eligible to face this mission."
Wu Yang changed the subject by raising the issue of the last mission.
But it was a mistake to dodge Zhao Luo's question as Wu Yang was just cornering himself.
"How do you know, that I am barely eligible to fight the secret disciple? Do you know who the senior is or..."
Zhao Luo looked at Wu Yang with a gaze of suspicion.
"Ah, that is because I have heard of that senior's strength but I don't know who the secret disciple is."
Wu Yang answered calmly with clear eyes.
Zhao Luo didn't have a reason to suspect him anymore as suspecting a friend would only riddle their bond.
While they kept discussing, the moonstone challenge was coming to an end.
"Let's go to the dining hall."
Zhao Luo instructed them.
It was already night. Thus Zhao Luo and the others decided to leave the training area as Zhao Luo told them and headed to the dining hall.
Zhao Luo couldn't feel hungry because of the changes in his body, the others were still humans who had to cure their feeling of hunger by stuffing themselves.
Even though Zhao Luo wasn't hungry, he cared for the others. While the faces of Feng Mei, Yan, and Mo Lee were written off with hunger. They couldn't hide it while Su Shi and Wei Bin hid their hunger perfectly.
"He is so small and yet his patience has exceeded his age by a great margin."
Zhao Luo mumbled while looking at Wei Bin who was very disciplined.
While he was carefully looking at his companions, they had reached the dining hall.
Zhao Luo entered the dining hall with the others.
After today's incident where he was the only one who had cleared the moonstone challenge, Zhao Luo had become an absolute respected being in the eyes of other disciples.
"Look that's brother Zhao Luo."
"The star is here."
"He is the hope of trainee hall."
The disciples started talking about Zhao Luo as the spotlight was on him and that same light was shared by the others who were with him too.
'I just wanted to let them eat in peace but why did I have to be so famous and handsome?'
Zhao Luo placed his hand in front of his face in a cool manner covering it while praising himself in a complaining manner.
'Grab.'
Feng Mei grabbed Zhao Luo's hand as she felt weird with so many disciples watching them.
That is when a noise echoed in the whole dining area.
"Don't annoy him. Stop pointing at them."
A voice scolded the other disciple after which they stopped looking towards Zhao Luo and his group.
Zhao Luo looked at the back of the disciple who had just shouted for his sake.
'It's him.'
Zhao Luo thought as he moved behind the others to get the food from the big dish plates.
"Oh, it's meat again."
Zhao Luo couldn't help but drool when he saw the various type of meat pieces waiting for him.
'Thump, Thump, Thump.'
Meat over meat Zhao Luo fully stacked his plate with meat pieces making a mountain out of them.
Then he turned around to look for the place where he could sit with the others.
'There.'
Zhao Luo looked at a familiar place and moved towards the table where the disciple who had helped them was sitting at.
The disciple was sitting alone at the table so Zhao Luo decided to join him. Also, Zhao Luo looked like he had something to ask that disciple.
With a humongous mountain of meat pieces on his plate, Zhao Luo moved towards that table with others walking alongside him.
'Tap.'
'Tap.'
'Tap.'
Zhao Luo's footsteps were like a melody that flowed into the ears of the other disciples in the dining hall as Zhao Luo moved towards the table in question.
"Look he is going towards that table."
"Yes, I hope they don't fight."
"No, even if they fought, Brother Zhao Luo will win."
Two disciples whispered to each other.
While they were talking Zhao Luo had reached the table.
'Pat.'
Zhao Luo placed his plate on the table as he sat on the chair and the others also followed him.
The table was full now as Zhao Luo looked at the disciple who had helped them before.
"How are you Senior Mite?"
Zhao Luo asked that disciple who still had bandages and stitches covering his face and body.
"Alive. Thanks to you."
Mite answered honestly with a dull expression.
There was no hostility left in his voice as he looked at Zhao Luo.
