《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 48: I Love It!

Zhao Luo looked down towards the robe. He placed his hand on the robe's cloth and felt his stomach.
'I can feel the touch. But it's a different kind of feeling.'
Zhao Luo was trying to differentiate between how the sense of touch would feel to him when he was wearing something more ordinary than the Robe of Hunger.
"There are like two walls between my hand and my body. On each side of the robe."
Zhao Luo was trying to explain the feeling he had just felt but he could get it out of his mouth perfectly.
"Hahaha."
Elder Bo laughed savagely.
He would always behave like this when someone would praise his work.
This robe was so special that even his enemies would praise it but he didn't expect that a young man would try to explain the hidden characteristic of this robe by just touching it.
Elder Bo looked at Zhao Luo with his eyes squinted. He was trying to see how they matched together. After a while, Elder Bo started to nod.
"The robe functions as a vacuum. When someone hits you, it will just melt away the power behind the force of the hit this neglecting the damage completely. Even though there may be a time when that feature won't help you."
Elder Bo looked at him and started to explain the features of the Robe of Hunger in detail.
"At your level, it will be hard to face someone who would be that powerful."
Elder Bo said to Zhao Luo as he looked over to Brother Sang.
"Young man you wanted to buy a robe from the heaven zone. Right?"
Elder Bo asked Brother Sang.
"Yes...if I can afford it."
Brother Sang said with a mild smile. He only came to accompany Zhao Luo and buy some average robe for him but things had escalated quite quickly.
"Young man."
Elder Bo had his eyebrows dropped and he looked at Brother Sang with a disappointed expression. He didn't like what Brother Sang had just said to him now.
"Do you think I'm so pity that I would ask you for money for my robes? If I like you, then that's already enough payment from your side. It's not easy to be good enough to be liked by me."

Elder Bo told him.
"Just think of this from a gift from me to you two."
Elder Bo gave them the good news.
"Thank you Elder."
Zhao Luo took the initiative to show his gratitude for Elder Bo's generosity.
Brother Sang followed Zhao Luo's gesture and gave a light bow to Elder Bo.
"Thank you Elder. I will not forget this gift from you even after I die."
Brother Sang had a smile on his face as he told Elder Bo what he was thinking.
"It's okay. In the end, these are just two robes that I am giving you. No need to be so happy."
Elder Bo said to Brother Sang.
'It's just a robe from the Heaven Zone.'
Elder Bo thought as if it wasn't a big deal for him. He didn't want them to owe him either.
"Ahem."
As the three were talking regarding the robes a sound came from behind them.
"Umm, Can I get a robe too? As a gift."
Yan said to Elder Bo. He was feeling down.
It would have been okay if Elder Bo had forgotten about him but even his companion forgot that he even existed. Elder Bo was giving them robes for free and they didn't even ask one for him.
'Tsk, tsk, unreliable.'
Yan thought while looking at Brother Sang and Zhao Luo.
But then he took his words back as Zhao Luo was looking so handsome and enchanting that he started blushing.
"No need to cry, little girl. You can get one too."
Elder Bo thought that Yan was going to cry as his cheeks were getting red. That wasn't the main issue though.
'Does the elder have a problem with hearing?'
Zhao Luo thought as his sight started hovering between Elder Bo and Yan.
"Elder you are mistaken. Yan is my.....junior sect brother."
Brother Sang tried to explain so as he thought about how Yan had passed the entrance test and will be a junior brother to him and they were already acquainted.
"Do you think this old man has gone senile? My eyes are per..."
The old man was speaking as Yan rushed to the old man with amazing speed that shocked Zhao Luo and Brother Sang.

Yan was so fast that even the Elder was shocked.
Yan placed his white palm on the elder mouth this stopping him from speaking.
'This movement technique. Don't tell me she is related to him.'
The elder thought of a person as he went over the move that Yan had just used.
Bo was an elder for a reason. He understood what Yan wanted.
He removed Yan's hand from his mouth delicately. Elder Bo didn't show a hint of aggressiveness as others would have taken this as disrespect.
"Young man you don't have to be aggressive just because of a robe. You can take two of them."
Elder Bo told Yan.
"Haha, Elder you are so kind. Thank you so much."
Yan bowed and thanked the elder.
They both were acting like their previous discussion never happened. As if elder had never called Yan a little girl in front of them.
'Whatever, it's cleared now.'
Brother Sang thought while looking at the smiling Yan and Leder Bo.
'Something's fishy.'
Zhao Luo thought as he looked at the awkward acting of the two.
"Well, let's go get you both the robes."
Elder Bo said while looking between Yan and Brother Sang.
Thus the three followed Elder Bo as he walked down the stairs towards the heaven zone.
There were five robes in this zone.
Brother Sang was looking at them with heart in his eyes. Then he looked at Yan.
'Lucky guy.'
Brother Sang thought as Elder had told him that he could take two of the robes.
If Brother Sang could he would buy or take all of them. But these were like 'Special Edition'. So a person could buy only one till the present stock ends.
'Tap, Tap, Tap.'
Brother Sang walked over to the rack where the five robes were hanging.
Yan was walking alongside him to get his two robes.
"I will take this one."
Brother Sang had already taken a dark purple robe out. He was holding it close so tightly that the elder couldn't control himself.
"Hahaha. Young man, it's just a robe, not your wife."
Elder Bo teased Brother Sang.
Brother Sang felt embarrassed as he loosened his grip over the robe.
"Do you want my help?"
Zhao Luo asked Yan.
Yan was looking troubled as he was starting at the four robes. He didn't know which one to take as all of them were extraordinarily well made. This caused Yan's greed to erupt thus he ended up making a troubled face.
"Yes, I would love to."
Yan answered as soon as Zhao Luo asked him. This was a chance for him as he started imagining different scenarios in his head.
Zhao Luo went over to Yan and took out a robe one by one.
He would take the robe and bring it closer to Yan and then touch Yan's shoulder as he laid the robe on him to check how Yan would look with the robe.
'Slap.'
Elder Bo slapped his head lightly as he looked at what Zhao Luo was doing.
'If he was here and saw this, he would shred this kid into pieces.'
Elder Bo couldn't help but shuddering as he remembered that face of a particular man.
Every time Zhao Luo would touch Yan's shoulder, it would cause him to blush.
"This is robe has a pink shade and looks the best on you but I don't think you will like the pink color outer robe."
Zhao Luo knew that guys rarely liked pink clothes so he thought that Yan wouldn't like it either.
To his surprise, Yan suddenly grabbed Zhao Luo's hand which was on his shoulder and opened his mouth.
"I love it!"
Yan said with a reddish face.
This caused Zhao Luo to be shocked.
The soft touch of Yan's hand and his red girly face which was right in front of his eyes caused to legs to go weak.
"Ahem."
Brother Sang interrupted Yan's moment.
Even though Zhao Luo was only helping Yan so Yan could select two robes for himself without being troubled but the situation progressed somewhere else too fast.
Zhao Luo and Yan we're looking at each other.
Zhao Luo was feeling weird as it was had to believe that Yan was a guy as he was going through something like this.
Yan let go of Zhao Luo's hand and said.
"Well, this is one of them. That will be my second robe."
Yan said while taking the robe from Zhao Luo's hand and the other one from the three leftovers.
Elder Bo was enjoying the show while feeling sad for Zhao Luo.
'Unlucky guy.'
Elder Bo thought while turning his head.

Cybernetic Dragon
Idea Seven, or Inter Dimensional Explorer Automaton Unit-7, has had a bit of an accident. Hijacking the egg of a dragon rather than its intended target of a bird egg, it isn't fully in control of its host brain. Rather the two, dragon and cybernetic AI interface, must work together to survive in a hostile world of magic, dungeons, beasts and adventurers. The AI must deal with being a machine from a world of science trying to carry out its mission of exploration, while the dragon, Rex, must deal with being a cyborg living with symbiotic nanotech that sets him apart from other dragons. What adventures await them? Author Note: I tagged this story GameLit because it contains concepts like levels, classes, and dungeon/beast cores. But, it isn't tagged LitRPG because no one has status screens, other than occasionally Idea Seven who likes to organize data into blue boxes. It isn't a natural function of the world to display level ups or skill ups with an announcer voice. I mention this to set expectations, because otherwise I feel like LitRPG fans might be disappointed by my lack of LitRPG elements while others might be turned off thinking I have a lot of LitRPG elements. I think that if you approach the story with an open mind you will appreciate the gradual way in which the main character learns and expands his understanding of how the world works, but the game mechanics aren't meant to take center stage to the actual story.
