《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 36: Little Sister?

Zhao Luo showed a smile to the lady who had just praised Zhao Luo's new look.
Zhao Luo knew how he looked before coming out of the capsule. He didn't know what caused his facial features to change in the 100 years of sleep he went through in the capsule. Nonetheless, he didn't mind these changes.
Zhao Luo looked at Brother Sang which caused Brother Sang to look somewhere else. Zhao Luo looked so dashing that Brother Sang feared that his eyes may wander at 'Danger' Areas.
"Let's Go."
"Yes, we should hurry."
Zhao Luo said to Brother Sang who then sped up and took the lead.
Zhao Luo followed Brother Sang out of the Palace they were in. They soon left the land of 'Sang Sang Merchant' and went towards the building that was in the middle of the 2nd City.
The building was the one with the Teleportation Circle 'TPC'. It was the same one where Zhao Luo with Brother Sang had teleported to from the entry city.
After reaching the building, they both entered the building through the entrance which was still lacking a door.
Zhao Luo was looking around and he noticed that around the teleportation circle 3 people were standing next to the porter.
Brother Sang followed Zhao Luo's gaze and knew what Zhao Luo was thinking.
"They must be going to the 1st City too, to take the entrance exam of the Xin Sect."
Brother Sang told Zhao Luo.
"I thought there would be a lot of people taking the exam but it looks like it's just them and me."
Zhao Luo said to Brother Sang.
In reality, he thought that the entrance exam would be crowded as there were 9 peaks around the peak where the Sect was so all the people from the cities on top of those peaks who had an interest in cultivation would be gathering for the exam.
Yet from the 2nd City, it was just these 3.
'Or maybe we are just too early.'
Zhao Luo speculated as it could be this too. Maybe other people would be dropping like bombs in a little time.
"We will leave in 30 minutes according to the selected slot of teleportation."
The porter announced to everyone in the TPC building, telling them about the time of teleportation.
It was simple as there will be people teleporting to the 1st city from their respected cities so there could a high flux of teleportations which may damage the teleportation circle.

That is why all the cities had a selected time slot for teleporting to the 1st City.
The last slot was given to the 2nd City, so nobody from the 2nd City misses this chance.
As the porter made his announcement, Zhao Luo felt a little sad as he was eager to participate in this entrance exam of the Xin Sect. But now he still had to wait 30 minutes first before he could be teleported to the first City.
"What should we do?"
Zhao Luo asked Brother Sang.
"What do you want to do?"
Brother Sang gave the same question to Zhao Luo as he could think about nothing.
"Hmmm."
While Zhao Luo was thinking about how to spend his 30 minutes. The three people were making their way towards Zhao Luo.
Before Zhao Luo didn't clearly see them but now as they were approaching him Zhao Luo could easily differentiate between them.
Two of them were walking a little behind the third one.
The two in the back were a boy and a girl. Both looked quite young and the third, who was leading them was a short girl.
"What is a kid doing here?"
Zhao Luo asked as he looked at the little girl.
"Don't say that she looks like a kid in front of her, otherwise it will be a big problem for you."
Brother Sang sweated while answering Zhao Luo's question.
"Paying respect to Brother Sang."
The little girl said as she reached Zhao Luo and Brother Sang. She was wearing a white robe and with her face which was so white that even the moon wouldn't dare compete with her, she greeted Brother Sang like a fairy.
'Only the wings are missing.'
Zhao Luo thought comparing the little girl to the fairies from one of his World's fairy tales.
"It is an honor to be greeted by the young queen herself."
Brother Sang greeted back. This little scene was so shocking for Zhao Luo that he didn't even realize that his mouth was open all this time and he was staring at the little girl or as Brother Sang had just said, the young Queen.
"It will be embarrassing if this handsome brother kept on staring at me like this."
The little girl said in a cute manner causing Zhao Luo to blush and look away.
"I am Feng Mei. The Queen of one of the three Royal families of the Xin Range, The Feng Family."
The little girl introduced herself to Zhao Luo.

'So she is also from a Royal family.'
Zhao Luo thought as he remembered Rose.
The girl giggled as she had finished introducing herself and yet the handsome guy in front of her was lost in his thoughts.
"Big brother, can I know your name?"
The little girl asked the aloof Zhao Luo.
Only then did Zhao Luo realized that he was being discourteous.
"I am Zhao Luo."
He didn't know what to say after that as he didn't even have a perfect identity that he could introduce himself as.
"He is my distant relative."
Brother Sang interrupted covering for Zhao Luo.
"If you are his relative then you are my relative too. Brother Sang has always treated me like a sister so anybody related to him will be respected just as how he respects me."
The girl said to Zhao Luo.
"Amazing."
Zhao Luo exclaimed. He was moved by the words of Feng Mei and praised her loudly without even realizing it.
The little Feng Mei blushed.
As they saw their Queen blushing, the guy and the girl behind Feng Mei glared at Zhao Luo.
'We have to keep her safe from this guy.'
They both had the same thought of keeping their little queen away from Zhao Luo.
But Zhao Luo couldn't care less as he, Feng Mei, and Brother Sang started talking together.
Zhao Luo then found out about the Royal Feng Family and how the little angel became the Queen of the Feng family at such a young age.
Feng Mei who was 17 years old had a height that betrayed her age and a face that even betrayed her height. But her height and face were irrelevant to her story. As Feng Mei told Zhao Luo.
"It was when I was 12 years old, my parents went missing after going out to the Sara Desert on a journey."
Feng Mei recalled her story and Zhao Luo who was looking at her could see the pain in her eyes.
'I want to protect her so badly.'
Zhao Luo thought but then he took it back as the silhouette of Rose appeared in his mind.
"Then a year later, sadness enveloped the Feng House when the news of my parent's death came forward. Only then did I realize how much pressure I wasn't facing when my parents were there for me."
The sadness in the little girl's eyes changed into anger as she continued with her story.
"My uncle tried to kill me so he could become the leader of the Feng House. That way he would get the title 'King of the Royal Feng House' and he would be respected throughout the Xin Range. Fortunately, my grandfather saw through his greed and saved me. While punishing my Uncle by banishing him from the Xin Range."
Feng Mei stopped here as everything after that was already clear. She became the Queen of the Royal Feng House at the age of 14.
'Such a small kid had to face a mountain of sadness and burdens.'
Zhao Luo thought as he heard the story of Feng Mei and without realizing it, he was already hugging Feng Mei, who for him was just a little girl who looked so sad that she could cry anytime.
Feng Mei felt Zhao Luo's warmth, she felt a little weird as someone she had met for the first time was feeling her pain and hugging her as if showing his encouragement but she didn't felt bad.
She looked up and saw Zhao Luo's handsome face with closed eyes. His shiny gray hairs were in front of her eyes which cause the sight of his face even more beautiful for the little Feng Mei.
'What a beautiful person.'
Feng Mei thought as she blushed.
The boy and the girl who were standing behind their Queen had a fire in their eyes. They would have burned Zhao Luo with that fire if they could.
'Brother Luo is an amazing individual.'
Even Brother Sang was astonished by Zhao Luo's action and praised Zhao Luo.
'What?'
Zhao Luo realized that he was hugging the little girl as he couldn't control his emotions after hearing her sad story.
He released her from his embrace.
"I never had a little sister before. Maybe fate had sent me here so i can meet you. You called me big brother so you will be my little sister from now on."
Zhao Luo declared causing a smile to emerge on Feng Mei's face as she looked at Zhao Luo's dashing demeanor.
'Nod.'
She nodded.
While the melodrama between the three continued, the porter made another announcement.
"It's time. Kindly enter the circle."
The porter said to the five people who were there.
They started to enter the circle.
Everyone entered the circle and waited for the porter to start the teleportation.
But before the porter could start the teleportation a voice rang out from right outside the building as the owner of the voice was entering the building.
"Wait For Me."
The guy entering the building said.
"Another One."
Zhao Luo thought.

Three Hundred Years After The End Of The World
Three hundred years after the end of the world as humanity knew it, the gears of an old plan slowly begin to move again, as a group of self-imposed reincarnators, along with their equally unlikely companions, gather once again to set things right... but does the world they plan to restore need, or even want, their help? Follow the misadventures of an eclectic bunch of genius misfits as they attempt to assemble and fix the world they accidentally devastated in the past. ~~~ Author's note: This is actually the first volume of a novel I wrote nearly a decade ago for the VNDB discussion boards, taking inspiration from the random off-topic ramblings that characterized the golden age of the community. After sevear years and countless rewrites, it is pretty much unrecognizable, but while it is not fit for professional publishing (due to the fact that several fragments and older versions are still out there on various forums and blogs), I decided it is a waste to just let it sit idly on my hard drive forever. As such, I decided to share it somewhere where people could maybe appreciate it, so here it is.
