《Becoming God of a Dystopian World 》Chapter 15: Heaven's Tomb

The old man was happy. His disciple may have been a self-centered idiot but his approach to his mistakes was very impressive.
The old man looked at the book in his hand and smirked.
"Zhao Luo."
The old man addressed Zhao Luo, seriously.
This was the first time that the old man called him out like this. So Zhao Luo let go of all his worries and thoughts as he looked at his master.
"Yes, Master."
Zhao Luo knew that it was going to be something beneficial to him so he was completely ready for what the old man was going to tell him now.
The old man closed the book and placed it on his left palm. Right after that he waved and curled the fingers of his right hand towards Zhao Luo. The book started floating as a result of the waving gesture from the old man and went over towards Zhao Luo.
The book that the old man was reading before reached Zhao Luo. Zhao Luo opened his right hand and the book placed itself on the palm of Zhao Luo. Zhao Luo looked at the book and at that instance, a memory came to him in the form of a shock.
'This black color looks so familiar. The shining tone of these dark outlines. Don't tell me that this is the book of the soul demon from hell. The book was used for bestowing death by that demon. Just a name is enough to plot the death of a being. Holy.'
Zhao Luo was in a frenzy. He was so excited that he had lost all kinds of sensible judgment. He even forgot to flip the book to check if it was the same book from his memories. His inner otaku was coming to life. This was one of the secrets that Zhao Luo didn't want anyone to know but as a famous saying goes that there is nothing that can be kept hidden forever. Zhao Luo didn't want anyone to know but Zhao Luo was a hardcore crazy fan of a certain anime from his time which led to this exciting reaction.

He was a single action away from confirming if his assumptions were correct. Just a turn of the devilish black shining book would let him know. So without waiting any further he was turning the book.
'BaDump'
Even though his body was still in a state of paralysis, his heartbeat was increasing slowly.
'BaDump'
His slow heartbeat was getting louder.
'BaDump'
So loud that it echoed in his mind space.
Three excited beats were heard in the time taken for Zhao Luo to turn the book to its front.
To his disappointment the there was nothing written on the front side of the book.
'Hmmm'
The old man who was looking at Zhao Luo was confused by the reaction of his disciple.
"You are disappointed. Do you even know the value of that book?"
The old man was confused and angry with Zhao Luo.
How could anyone be dissatisfied with something they received from the Emperor of Gods himself?
Yet this insolent disciple of his was making a sad face just after turning the book.
He didn't even open it but the old man would never know that the disappointment of Zhao Luo was well justified.
"Master, it looked familiar to something from my World."
Zhao Luo replied but his answer wasn't correct. He forgot to differentiate his World from a 2D World. Maybe the long sleep had already destroyed his reasoning.
The old man couldn't understand the meaning behind Zhao Luo's answer.
'There wasn't anything like it even in my World so how can there be something like it in your World?'
The old man had a questioning thought in his mind but he decided to dismiss it.
"Open it. Hmph."
The old man ordered Zhao Luo. He was eagerly looking at Zhao Luo waiting for him to open the book and be blown away by the majesty of the contents inside it.

Zhao Luo looked at the book in his right hand and flipped it open with his left hand.
The book was opened and the first page appeared. The first page was emitting golden light. The thickness of this page covered half of the book.
Zhao Luo was focused on the two words carved in that thick page.
'Heaven's Tomb'
Zhao Luo was mesmerized by the style of those words.
He looked at the font and he couldn't match with any of the fonts that he knew about. The two words were written so well that Zhao Luo was shocked but this shock lasted for only a short moment.
Zhao Luo thought of the meaning behind the words.
'The tomb of heaven. Heaven must be buried in this book or there may be some secret related to heaven. Is Heaven even dead?'
Zhao Luo was having a conference in his mind.

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
