Takuma turned towards his staff and said,
"Perform the endotracheal intubation. I don't want any mistakes. Get him breathing again. He will be the one. The one who will see through our hopes. He is going to be the main hope of the 'Gone Over Death-GOD' project. So hurry up."
For some reason out of nowhere, Zhao Luo had become the 'main member' of some weird project without even knowing.
The other members of the project moved. One had an oxygen tank in his hand. One had a tube with him. The other one was bringing an oxygen pump. They fixed the equipment next to Zhao Luo and inserted the breathing tube through the mouth of Zhao Lou and pumped the oxygen into his lungs.
Zhao Luo who was unconscious all this time was living in a dream. He was dreaming about drowning as he couldn't breathe with all the water around him and when he was about to give up, a girl rescued him.
After pulling him out of the water, she tried to perform CPR. Zhao Luo being a shy guy couldn't even tell the girl that he was okay and there was no need to do this. This was going to be the first time Zhao Luo had an indirect kiss.
His lips started twitching. Zhao Luo couldn't wait for his lips to connect with hers but for some reason, his lips and the girl's lips never connected.
So Zhao Luo tried to peek. He opened the lid of his left eye slightly to check and what he saw was a tube which was half inside his mouth that was like a wall between the girls' lips and his. Zhao Luo tried to blow this tube out of his mouth which went from trying for days to intense struggling for a week. Well, there is no time sense in dreams. So he didn't know how much had passed since he fainted.
In the end, Zhao Luo woke up.
Almost two weeks had already passed since Zhao Luo had lost his consciousness after his breathing had stopped.

Now His breathing had returned. His lungs were working fine and his condition had stabilized. Slowly Zhao Luo opened his eyes.
'Where am I?'
He wondered.
He moved around and saw a bunch of guys wearing the same type of lab coat as the guy he had met before fainting.
All the memories of that day hit him like a flood.
"Bastard"
Zhao Luo said through his oxygen mask. While his eyes were still moving around looking for that man.
"The subject is awake."
One of the researchers said addressing Zhao Luo as the subject. Everyone in the lab was alerted.
All of the researchers of the GOD project gathered around the bed Zhao Luo was lying on.
' The hell '
He thought anxiously.
' What? Are they gonna do something to me?'
Zhao Luo was scared.
Right then the guy he was looking for made his entrance.
'Tap, Tap, Tap'
The footsteps were the only thing Zhao Luo could hear as Takuma appeared in front of him after passing by the other researchers working under him on this project.
"So you are finally awake. Our wait can finally end."
Takuma smiled at Zhao Luo and turned towards the others.
"Get ready to proceed with the next step of the project."
After hearing the command from Takuma, the others started running around.
Some were checking the data on their computers. While others were pulling a gas tank towards the capsule which was next to the bed Zhao Luo was on.
"You see I am working on a project. The project was already discontinued to end it as a failure but I am secretly still working on it. As they say, hard work is always paid. We needed someone like you. The main key to our project will be you. A guy who is just living by. A person who can't even feel the excitement to its fullest. You are going to get treated by participating in this project. Your condition will get better. The best thing you get is to live long. So what do you say? You will do it right?"

Takuma looked at Zhao Luo waiting for him to agree and accept his deal. But Zhao Luo was freaked out.
"The fuck you trying to say, weirdo."
Zhao Luo removed his oxygen mask and said.
"The only thing I am participating in is getting the hell out of this building and reporting you to the Police."
Zhao Luo even though he was feeling scared, said what he felt after hearing Takuma's long explanation.
It wasn't like that he didn't want to get better or as if he didn't want to live long. But the thing was simple, he wasn't willing to believe this guy who was the reason he fainted.
"Don't get too excited or else you will faint again Mr. Zhao Luo. I am sorry about before. But you need to listen to me. This is the only way you can get better and better in such a way that you can not even imagine."
Takuma tried to persuade Zhao Luo who was like an angry bird right now.
Zhao Luo breathed and calmed himself.
"What is in it for you? How long do I participate in this? Will I get better? Why do I even participate in a project that is already supposed to be a failure?"
He bombarded Takuma with his questions and waited for Takuma to answer them.
Takuma pushed his lab coat behind doing a weird move. He adjusted his glasses as if pushing them up to his nose.
"I just want to prove that I haven't failed and it's already a success. So please."
Takuma said and continued,
"You just have to sleep for a few years. Like just a little around 100 years. Don't worry about food. Your body will be in a static condition. All the functions will stop except the ones which are important to keep you alive. As for your condition, I have already told you that it will be better so better that nothing can be compared."
Takuma moved closer to Zhao Luo and grabbed his hand tightly,
"As for why it's you. It's simple only you can participate in this project. As you are the perfect match for this project. A guy who has defied death. You don't care about dying and that is why you are PERFECT for this project."
Takuma added as much bullshit as he could to convince Zhao Luo that there was no one better than him for this project.
But Zhao Luo was already convinced of something else.
'100 years of sleep. Are you gonna sing me a lullaby for a century? And Condition better than ever. Are you gonna replace my lungs with stars?'
Zhao Luo after thinking it through decided to decline Takuma carefully.
"Sorry. I understand what you are saying but I can't participate in your project."
Zhao Luo tried to get up from the bed he was in while looking at Takuma.
Takuma had a bad expression on his face. Zhao Luo didn't stop at that.
"But it's not like I don't believe in your project. I know it's a success. Haha."
Zhao Luo tried to be a positive guy just till he left this place.
'Let me leave this shithole building then I will teach you a lesson. hahaha'
Zhao Luo thought while looking calm on the outside.
Takuma looked at Zhao Luo and nodded,
"I understand. You are the first person to say that my project is a success. Even I didn't have much confidence in it. But thank you and know this. This will be helpful for you."
Takuma said this, leaving Zhao Luo in confusion.
Zhao Luo looked at Takuma and just then he felt a pain on his shoulder side. Takuma had injected him.
"What did you do to me?" Zhao Luo screamed.
"Zhao Luo, don't worry. It's just a little strong anesthesia that will put you to sleep for a day. Think of this as your sleep training. When you wake up, you will thank me. Hahaha.."
Takuma patted the shoulder of Zhao Luo.
Zhao Lou started to lose his consciousness as the effect of anesthesia spread.
"Thank you? F*CK you."
Zhao Luo lost his consciousness after cursing Takuma.
