《Love Agreement With The King》Chapter 106 - Royal Wedding [final Part]

"Do you fancy someone in particular? Because if not I can make you meet a few of the best Lords in town. They would be honored to get the acquaintance of such an exquisite lady like you."
After hearing what Jade said, Sharon placed her hand over her chin in a pensive expression.
"I do… fancy someone." Her eyes stopped for a second to gaze at the King just to dart back to the woman's direction. "But I am willing to meet more people and see how things go. Maybe It will turn out into incredible turns of events!" Sharon replied.
"Perfect then!" Jade commented, smiling shyly.
Roselyn wondered however that woman would help her sister to find a suitor, did John ask her to? So that she would stop obstructing their relationship? If so she wouldn't be surprised knowing John's odd ways of fixing things.
First courses were served and the lunch proceeded well. Before cutting the cake the Royal couple headed toward the dance floor. A man began to play the piano and John stretched his hand for Roselyn to take it before walking upon the dancefloor.
"How does it feel," John asked as he took a step forward to start the dances.
"to be the Queen?" he continued while he swirled around her.
Roselyn smiled, "It feels… weird."
"Weird in a positive way?" John asked.
"Yes. In the best possible way."
John made Roselyn twirl around just to push her closer to him by her hips. Lord Victor and Abigail joined the Royal Couple on the ball floor.
After the piano played few more songs the couples stepped outside the ballroom to join the table and cut the cake.
The cake was the classiest cake Roselyn had ever seen before. It had 12 layers, it was all white with floral gold decoration and little ornaments.

Roselyn placed the knife on the bottom of the cake while John helped her to handle the knife as she pressed it down to cut each layer.
After cutting some slices, she placed the first slice on her dish while one of the maids continued to cut the cake and then handed each slice to the guests.
John sat down and gestured with his hand tapping on his knee to indulge Roselyn to sit on his lap. Roselyn didn't hesitate and gently sat on him.
At first, she made sure not to sat full weight on him by keeping her foot onto the ground and balancing the weight. She was concerned he may not be able to hold the weight but as soon as he noticed her concerns he pushed her closer.
"Do I hurt you?" Roselyn asked embarrassed but John giggled at her shyness.
"You have to get used to it, darling." He whispered.
"To what?" She asked but he didn't reply limiting himself to hint a smirk, which was still enough to make his lady's cheeks flush abruptly.
Sharon was sat on the opposite side of the table and was staring at them with a mad look on her face.
Jade reached the happy couple and smiled at both of them.
"May I have a chat with John a minute?" Jade asked Roselyn who nodded before standing up from his lap, "sure."
John stood up and smiled at his wife before walking with the woman.
"So you read Sharon's mind?" John asked, as soon as they were far enough not to be heard.
Jade nodded, "yes, and what I read is not very pleasuring. She had bad thoughts about you and Roselyn. She wants to be the one to marry you at the expense of Roselyn."

John wasn't surprised, considering all the attention she was paying to him. "What are her plans?" he asked.
Jade raised an eyebrow leaning closer to whisper: "She was wondering where the Lord was, and she had been waiting for him to show up during the whole ceremony."
John cupped his chin, in a pensive expression. "Was it Lord David?"
The woman's eyes widened as she recalled the name, "yes it was!"
John's eyebrow frowned, wondering if Sharon knew more than she had to know.
"However," Jade's gaze fell on Roselyn who was looking at them from afar, "I noticed I can't read Roselyn's mind."
John's jaw tensed but Jade intervened as soon as she read his preoccupation through his mind, "I don't need to read her mind. I can see that she truly cares about you from the way she looks at you."
John's eyes met Jade's eyes, as she continued, "don't let her go. You both need each other."
John nodded smiling at the woman. "Thank you."
Jade smiled, "go to her now before she misses you."
John chuckled before walking back to Roselyn.
"Is everything okay?" Roselyn asked quite concerned as soon as he reached her.
"Yes, is the cake good?" John hinted a smile seeing how she managed to finish two slices during his absence.
"It was exquisite!" Roselyn exclaimed and they both shared a laugh.
After about one hour all the guests gathered to greet the just married couple and to conclude the marriage. Abigail embraced Roselyn tightly, "I can't believe you're the Queen of Scotland now!"
It was the first time she heard someone call her like that and it was weird, although she didn't feel different from the days before. Yet as soon as she heard that name, a shiver ran through her spine, acknowledging that her life would change from now on.
'Queen of Scotland,' she repeated to herself mentally. A thrill of anxiety ran through her veins as she realized the many responsibilities she will have to take care of.. 'Queen Roselyn married to King John', she smiled uncontrollably, she liked how that sounded.

The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. On a once unremarkable day, a mysterious girl displayed powers beyond the capabilities of humans in front of many onlookers who knew only the ordinary: Powers of Ice creation. Riki, a normal young man in the midst of the crowd, was astonished to see such a spectacle, but this astonishment quickly transforms into dismay. From the appearance of calm, yet scorching blue flames, he realized the sole reason she was using powers in the first place was to only protect herself from two who have possession of powers akin to hers. And in failing to do so, the last thing Riki saw was the angst look in her eyes before she disappeared from his sight. That was the only one remaining memory he can recall. Thrusted into an organization filled with supernatural stargazers, Riki's only goal is to retake everything back: a journey to take back both his past and his future. Through this journey, it will mean to discover the underlying truths of the world. Any illustrations I use for covers and chapters are illustrations I have drawn myself unless otherwise stated.

A Merchants Tale
Legends rise. Country’s fall. Empires wage war. But what supports these great powers, allowing them to function as a single organism. Is it the common man, Farmers and Millers forming the backbone of the land? The Soldiers and Guards keeping public order? The Wives and Widows supporting from the side-lines? The Nobles from their seats of power? Or the elusive Sorcerers who wield power untold? And what maggots crawl in this great creature, all trying to get a piece of its slowly decaying flesh. The gangs of the Underworld hidden in the shadows? The Bandits and Deserters hiding at the edges, ready to pounce on any weakness? Witches and Warlocks working their dark art? Or other Nations clawing at their neighbour’s, salivating over the riches they stand to gain from another’s demise. There is one group that belongs to neither group. They thrive on others misfortune and bring with them salvation and destruction in equal measure. They can raise a kingdom up or tear it down screaming and kicking. These are the merchants, the lifeblood of kingdoms, because what is the one thing above all else men crave. Is it Love? Power? Destruction? All these things can be acquired with one simple thing. Wealth. Wealth is the true power behind the world. Wealth can buy army’s, strangle kingdoms, and turn even the most devout man from his faith. Merchants come in many forms, shapes and sized, some gaudy, bleeding the people for all their worth, some tricky, preferring to make contracts and debts to trap men. And some desperate, doing all they can to sell even the most worthless of junk. This is a story of one merchant who goes against all a merchant stands for. He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after? Quick disclaimer in response to the review I got, this is my first story and somewhat of an experiment for me, hopefully my writing will get better the more I practice. Thanks for any helpful advice :)

Transmigrating into an endless Death Cycle
The feeling of running far faster than my body could handle was the first impression I had of this world. Unimaginable fear and pain was the second. When our Main Character awoke, she knew that she died in her original world and soon found out the name of the body she possesed: Sophien Alma Rubien. The villainess of an Otome Game she just started playing. However the more concerning fact was that this world was unstable and her soul trapped. If she was unable to help this Game advance to be an original world, she would be obilerated. And to make matters worse, as the villainess, there were countless Death Traps and Flags waiting for her, trapping her in an Infinite Loop. Would this new life be a curse or could she transform it into a blessing? This novel has a Level System with missions and a system but there will be no overpowerdness but constant growth. You could say the setting is hell. This story will also be uploaded on ScribbleHub and Wattpad with the same username.

James was an Operator who had the misfortune to die in battle. Instead of his soul moving on to his just reward, it is intercepted, and James finds himself on a new mission. Asked to be the Champion for Ignatius, God of Embers, he finds himself in a different world, fighting impossible creatures and trying to survive. Their lives now depend on his completing the Challenge and ranking in the top 500. But the odds are stacked against him, and he was a better operator than a swordsman. Chapters released Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:30 Warning: After Chapter 11, the MC undergoes a significant change of class and race. This is due to a couple of factors. The first is that when the MC was created, James didn't know what he was doing, so he picked what he thought would work. The second reason is that he had access to more information to game the system a little. The premise is like when you buy a new video game and decide to play it without RTFM. After creating a great character and making it to the end of the first act, you realize that, although your character may be kewl, it is gimped and will not survive until the end of the game. Going back to the start, you create a new character with the knowledge you gained from playing the game and perhaps, peeking at the manual.
