《Love Agreement With The King》Chapter 38 - I Have A Name

When he got out, Roselyn sat on the bed and laid her head on her hands as a mixture of feelings and concerns imploded her mind.
"I was asking her if I could see you and she gently replied that she was going to ask you if you wanted to see me," Roselyn announced. When the maid heard her, her skin tone became more colorful. As she gave a breath of relief, "I know you don't want to be disturbed, your highness." The woman justified herself, looking at the King.
"Bring my food in ten minutes, I am starving." He commanded.
"Wait," Roselyn called before he would walk away, "I was wondering if we could eat together."
John shook his eyes, looking at her upside down. The maid, who was looking at the scene, smirked lightly.
"Roselyn, I am glad you would enjoy my presence but I'd rather avoid any situation that may lead to emotional entanglement." He stated firmly.
The maid tried to hide her enjoyment at seeing the disappointment in Roselyn's gaze, but failed when a giggle escaped from her lips.
Fortunately for her, the King had already turned over his shoulders to head back in his room.
"Are you going to ask him to give you a goodnight kiss next time?" She provoked Roselyn, who glowered at her in response.
What did she have against her? She had no reason to be that mean.
The blonde maid went near them and bowed down to Roselyn. "I can walk you to the dining room."
"Thank you." She replied as she followed her.
"I hope she didn't offend you. I figured out myself that she isn't able to keep her thoughts to herself." She said as she looked over to see the older maid who was mean to Roselyn, cleaned the silver.

Roselyn smiled to her friendly, "don't worry. It's fine."
Roselyn sat on her chair when the maid and some servants helped her with serving food. Filling her dish with so much food, Roselyn felt so hungry just by staring at it.
Not wasting more time, she dedicated her full attention to bringing some food to her mouth.
The more she ate, the more it tasted delicious. While she took her time to chew the food properly, she gazed around the huge dining room to spot in another table, some silver big pots filled with meat. "are those for the King?" She asked, pointing at that table.
"Yes, miss Roselyn."
"Do all that fresh meat last for the entire week? I think it would be such a waste if it turned out to become gear."
The maid smiled, leaning close to Roselyn's ear to wish, "don't worry, he usually eats all of it in one single meal."
Roselyn chuckled at the thought of him being able to eat that much. The maid smiled, recalling the first time she learned that information and her same expression was identical, shocked first then amused.
She heard a loud noise from afar.
Roselyn turned around to shake her head, looking at the corridor. She saw few servants run toward the King's room and slam the door behind. She could hear the loud voices coming out, but couldn't hear clearly what they were saying. All she could hear was the angry voice of John that thundered in the house.
"What happened?" She asked when the silence fall on the room.
"I suggest you, miss Roselyn, not to make any noise or ask anything."
Roselyn opened her mouth to ask why, but when the King came out of his room, she closed her mouth in a sudden movement.

His eyes were red with anger, his jaw was tensed. He clenched his fists as he left the house, disappearing in a matter of seconds.
When he left the mansion, all he could think of was that villain that took his father's life. The servant reported to him the information that one of his investigators had found his name. He didn't have a destination, yet the desire of getting his revenge was numbing his mind.
He headed to his flat, which was located in the alleyways. It was a place where he and his crew of vampires stayed in. A secret garage they have been sharing for decades since they have met.
He banged on the garage door and Jack went to open the shutters to let him in and then close them again.
"I have a name," John said. Jack was sitting on his chair with his legs spread.
He was fully covered in tattoos and his eyes were of a dark intense red just like John's eyes. Sharing his same tattoo on the arm, a snake embracing a weird simple.
John handed him a note on which there was written the name on it. When Jake read the name, he put his hands over his head as she gave him a worried glance.
"We can't." He said after taking a long breath and throwing the note on the floor in ire.
"Listen, I am not asking you. I will do it, whether or not you guys are with me." John groaned, his eyes widened to express his anger.
He could feel his blood run through his vein, the ire was blurring his vision.
"You will get yourself killed." Jack stood up in a rapid movement and pushed him strongly in a vain attempt of making him ratiocinate.
Jack was the brother he never had, the only person who had his back during the years. They were just like brothers, without sharing the same blood. And just like brothers, they had a very particular way of showing love, and it was by beating each other.
Indeed, John reached, punched him on his cheek.
"Son of a bitch." He whispered, gritting his teeth to bear the pain.
John shook his hand and cracked his fingers as he had caused himself a little pain by the strength hit he gave.
They both calmed as that helped somehow to reduce the tension and King John to release some repressed anger.
The vampire who was hit by the King went to take out some ice from the mini-fridge. After wrapping it around some paper towels he when to crash it against the wall to cut it into smaller pieces.
He placed it over his wound, on the cheek where he was punched.
John's toe tapped his feet in a staccato rhythm as he nervously thought about what he was putting himself into.
"When and where?" Jack asked, raising his eyebrow and glancing at his friend with a resentment look.

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!

A crumbling autumn leaf
DROPED That systems comes out of nowhere, he's fine with that, it will be hard, but he can bring everyone... What do you mean we don't get to go to the tutorial? Well fuck. How did everyone else die anyway? They just needed to stay silent and not touch webs! Magic isn't even that hard, they could have survived this if they had just listened! Now his family is gone and Aki has nothing but time and the system notifications to figure out what actually happened to the rest of the world, perhaps even finding another reason to live after he finishes destroying the dungeon he spawned at from inside out. ***** This novel bases heavily on novels like Defiance of the fall, The new world and The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I would like to think that's it though, so please point out any sort of copying. As someone has pointed out though, i warn now that the main character is bisexual, so please, don't waste your time if that bothers you.
