[ Unique Skill: Million Randomly Buffed Arrows (A-grade)

Description: Summoned a million arrows to attack a single enemy or group of opponents. The arrows summoned are buffed randomly, with three arrows having 'instant death' buff.

: Instant death only affects enemy/s of 1 major higher level and below. (100 level difference and under)

: Each arrow contained +100% Attack power

After triggering the skill, one arrow appeared above Ken's head. The 1 arrow then turned into two, then two turned into 4, four arrows became 8, and so on...

The multiplication of arrows continues until the arrows reach thousands, ten thousand, hundred thousand, and finally, millions of arrows.

The proliferation may seem long but it occurs within a matter of seconds!

Hence, the Mantis was still a meters away from Ken when the upsurged of arrows came off.

A million arrows illuminate the hunting ground as it levitates on the dreary sky. Some arrows shimmer as those were buffed with fire damage. Some arrows were also gleaming with blue lights as they had ice damage, and so on...

Of course, the chosen within and outside of the hunting ground saw this astonishing scene, these include Samantha and the three members of Cuenca Guild who were in the middle of the fight.

The leader reveals a smirk after seeing a million arrows and spoke after thwarting Samantha's attack.

"Your partner would be dead, I don't know what he did that forced Ken to use his unique skill but now that it comes to this, he will surely be dead as no one survived that skill so far.", said the leader while cackling like a madman.

Samantha on the other hand felt uneasy after seeing the arrows on the sky...

Among the arrows, three of which caught her attention the most, the arrows were submerged with hazy black mist as if the arrows were an embodiment of Death itself.

Of course, the three arrows are those that are buffed with 'instant death'.

'Be careful Ace.', Samantha mumbles while gulping each time.

Meanwhile, the other Chosen in the area were so frightened by the million arrows in the air. Hence, they started running towards the exit of the hunting ground while muttering shakily...

"who the heck dared provoke an A-grade Chosen!", they all mumbles.

They directly concluded that the source of the arrow was an A-grade Chosen as they were the only ones who had such capability to do so.

Meanwhile, as soon as a million arrows finished their proliferation, Ken immediately launched his attack...

"Single target aim.", he snickered while looking and pointing at Adam.

At last, a million arrows start moving towards Adam.

At the same time, the Mantis is now only meters away from Ken but the latter is calm as ever as the Mantis is on the arrow's way hence, he believes that the Mantis would be hit and get killed by the arrows before it could even reach him.

But a moment later, the Mantis who was already moving so fast, abruptly accelerated again as if it had not yet shown its actual speed.

Ken had no time to react at all as his view shifted upwards unknowingly.

'Ehh? Sky?', he thought as he saw a dreary sky full of moving arrows.

He was just looking at the Mantis earlier, and in a matter of seconds, his view changed upwards.

'Why?', he thought bewilderedly as he started losing his vitality.

Soon, his view changed every time as if his body was moving on its own, and while later, he felt his head hitting the ground and what he saw baffled him...

'My body!'

He saw his body standing upright and in front of it was the Mantis.

'Why is my body in there?', he thought while shifting his gaze on the upper part of the body as he anticipates a cruel scenario...

'Head. My head...'

The body has no head! After knowing that, he then concluded that earlier, as the Mantis accelerated suddenly, he was beheaded by the monster gruesomely.

Vitality started leaking out of Ken until he completely lost his consciousness and died as his body turned into white rays of light.

Meanwhile, as Adam saw the appearance of million arrows, his relaxed expression earlier turned sullen, especially when spotting the three arrows with 'instant death' buff.

Hence, he immediately added more mana on the Mantis, boosting the speed of the latter. The Mantis then moves so hastily to the point that it leaves an afterimage.

Ken was caught unprepared to the sudden speed enhancement and died cluelessly. This somewhat overjoyed Adam as he hopes that the skill would be canceled.

But alas, the arrows kept on moving towards his direction. And unexpectedly, the Mantis that was standing in front of Ken's body was hit by one of the arrows and died instantly.

[Monster Duplicated; Inferior Praying Mantis has died]

'What's with that arrow?!', Adam thought while looking at the arrow with hazy black mist that hit the Mantis.

'It must be a unique skill then...', he thought.

Since the skill didn't subside upon the death of Ken, Adam then inferred that it was the former's unique skill cause once a caster died, a normal skill would usually be canceled. Unlike this, the unique skill's effect would remain despite the caster's death.

'I must ensure that I won't be hit by those arrows!', he added

Soon, Adam quickly summoned his coin then supplied it with more mana while changing it to a shield-form.

He then expands it to cover his entire body.

'10,000'

'25,000'

'50,000'

'Ding'

When Adam supplied 50,000 mana, the first arrow hit the shield as supplying itself, required seconds.

The arrow was nullified but still, Adam felt the power within that arrow.

'Such power! So thats an A-grade unique skill then huh!', Adam thought feeling amazed by skill's prowess.

Of course, he was amazed seeing the A-grade's prowess cause it makes him anticipate of possible conclusion...

'If an A-grade unique skill is that powerful, then how strong could an SSS-grade unique skill be then?', he thought

Soon, as Adam continued supplying mana on the shield, a barrage of 'ding' sound echoed throughout as there's an onslaught of successive arrows.

'Ding'

'200,000 mana'

'Ding'

'250,000 mana'

Amidst of the strike, one arrow was nearing the shield when abruptly, it changed its trajectory as if it had consciousness, then moved towards the side of the shield until it reached the edge of it. After that, it travels horizontally then hit Adam!

'Uhh!', Adam wailed as the arrow hit him.

'Was it buffed with target locked?', he thought.

After that, continues arrow deviate from its track again and travels towards the other side of the shield, which were then deflected by Adam as he learned his lesson from earlier.

Soon, various arrows nearly hit Adam, those were buffed with boomerang effect and so on...

'Just how many arrows are left?', he thought while feeling a bit uneasy.

A while later, Adam got goosebumps at what he saw.

Among the arrows which deviates from its trajectory, three arrows enveloped with hazy blac mist come forth.

'Damn', he thought after seeing the three arrows getting closer.

'Gulp'

Presently, Adam cant divide his coin as it will take seconds at least and it will be too late that time. That was the case with his monster duplicating as well. As for the Gigantic Spear? He cant used it yet as the shield was activated and transforming it to a spear would them result to lose of defense from barrage of arrows.

Hence, he can only thought of one person to help him...

'Greed', he mumbles with full of hope...

As the word leaves Adam's mouth, Greed appeared instantly before him, then, a words exited Greeds mouth.

"Thousand Sword Strike!"

Upon activation, a light illuminates the entirety of hunting ground...

Soon, the dense forest then turned into a place with no trees nor monsters left intact... only two person was left standing.
