As mentioned, the young man is the renowned Ken Cuya, one of the "The Three Prodigies" and a member of the Cuenca Guild.

On the other hand, Samantha becomes somewhat disturbed after hearing the Guild's name, "Ace, be careful", she utters

(Note: Ace is Adam's alias)

Adam then just nodded his head and took a fighting stance together with his Mantis.

Of course, Adam knew the reason why Samantha seems alarmed by the Guild's name. It was widely known throughout World of Luck that Cuenca Guild is a guild with a bad reputation as its member are Chosen Killers.

They are also short temper and like to bully those D and E-grade Chosen that's below them.

Since they can gain an exp by killing a Chosen, they become addicted to the pleasure of doing CK(Chosen Killing lol). Also, killing a Chosen could be more worthwhile than hunting monsters as the exp gained was much higher.

Likewise, common Chosen weren't able to retaliate nor fought back as Cuenca Guild was one of the 5 largest Guild on World of Luck.

Hence, reporting it to their small and mid-sized guilds would be rendered hopeless cause their Guild master would just ignore or compensate them and won't dare to provoke the Cuenca Guild as that may ignite Guild Wars.

As for the remaining 4 largest Guilds, they didn't dare to stop nor warn the Cuenca Guild as long as they didn't harm their members.

It's not that they are afraid of Cuenca Guild but rather, they didn't want to waste resources or time on some 'unnecessary' thing as their focus is solely on Royalties of World of Luck, especially, the 'Magician's Tower'.

Also, in this world, strength and luck matter. Hence, seeing a weak being trampled on becomes a common sight.

As a result, members of the Cuenca Guild can kill chosen's all they want with no one restraining them.

Even their Guild master didn't stop or punish them, instead, he inevitably supports their activity as he also wants to increase the level of each member, resulting in an increase in their Guild's strength.

Presently, Adam and Samantha are facing 4 members of the Cuenca Guild...

A while later, one of them spoke...

"The boy is only level 120, and the girl is level 184, I cant see their Unique skill so they must be lower than C-rank.", utters the man from Cuenca Guild.

(Note; Adam had just level up)

"Appraisal huh", said Samantha while feeling slightly uneasy.

'So that's why they have the guts to challenge us', Adam thought.

"Good, then I will leave the boy to you, Ken, while we three will fight the girl", said the red-haired boy while licking his lips like a freak.

After saying that, one of their members then makes some mysterious hand gestures while uttering strange words.

Samantha began to feel worried as she had to fight three Chosen at the same time. On the other hand, Adam was calm as ever.

Soon, the cast has ended and the man clasped his hands.

After that, a circular transparent thing appeared on the ground where Adam and Ken stepped on.

Adam had no time to change his footing as he falls on the circular thing completely, together with his summoned Mantis.

Dizziness surrounds Adam as he felt his body being transported. A second later, the scene before him changed entirely, there are no Samantha nor Cuenca Guild members around him, there are only big trees and his Mantis.

'Was that a spatial magic?', Adam thought silently

'These big trees, I must be still on the hunting ground', he assumed.

Adam also concluded that the spellcaster must be low-leveled, so he might be just meters away from where Samantha was at.

'I got to find her.' He thought

He was about to move when suddenly, he felt danger coming from behind him.

Hence, he instinctively moves sideways to avoid whatever that danger is. Unfortunately, Adam evades too late and the thing, or rather the arrow hit his shoulder.

'Uhh!?'

'It tickles!', Adam chuckled as he felt something hitting him

Soon, an arrow can be seen dropping on the ground after 'tickling' Adam.

'An arrow?', he thought baffled

After seeing that, only one person comes to Adam's mind, 'Ken!'

Earlier, he saw Ken wearing light armor and holding a recurve bow, also, the same spatial magic appeared below Ken, hence, Adam assumed that he's the only possible source of the arrow.

While contemplating, Adam was interrupted as he felt a danger again coming from the same direction, only this time, he immediately acted and command his summoned Mantis, while adding more mana on the latter.

'Ding!'

A ding sound was heard as the 100,000 mana-powered Mantis' claw blocked the incoming arrow that's on fire and swirling.

Meanwhile...

As soon as Ken was transferred to another area by spatial magic, he immediately prepared his recurve bow and aimed at Adam.

He was transferred meters away from Adam and on a levitated area for a favorable shot.

After a while, the arrow was all ready and he immediately conjures it with skill...

"Silent Blazing Bulldozer Arrow", he utters

After activating the skill, he instantly let the arrow out of the bow. The arrow that's now on air starts going ablaze and spins so profoundly.

Also, the arrow was so silent and didn't create even a bit of noise as it travels towards its target, namely: Adam.

Hence, Adam was caught unprepared and evaded too late. But what ensued next baffled Ken.

"Ehhh? What happened?", he mumbles after seeing the arrow that's on fire and whirling hits Adam but unexpectedly, the arrow loses its fire like it was thrown in a pool of water, and stops spinning as it loses its momentum.

"is that defense? Just how high could his defense be?!", he thought after seeing Adam survive his attack unscathed.

Soon, he tried attacking again with the same skill as it had no cooldown.

This time, he stared keenly at the arrow to see what would ensue and discern if his assumption was right.

"Was it pure defense? Or was it a skill?", he thought while peeking at Adam.

At last, he let go of the arrow then activate the skill again. The arrow then moves silently. A while later, it was now metered away from its target and Ken just gulped at what he saw.

The Mantis that was not moving before, moved so rapidly to the point that it becomes blurred in Ken's view.

"what the fuck!", Ken shouted after seeing the stunning scenery.

Earlier, he concluded that Adam was a summoner but since he was level 120 at the moment, he didn't expect that much from his summoned, hence, he just thought of the Mantis as a nobody.

Besides, the Mantis was known for its claw/cutting capabilities and not its agility. Its health was also lowest compared to same level monsters.

But alas, the 'nobody' moved so fast and blocked his attack with ease! Hence, he shouted unintentionally as it was so startling.

Of course, this shout was so loud and even Adam heard this.

The latter then shifted his gaze and looked in Ken's direction.

"I'm screwed!", Ken mumbles while starting to sweat.

At the same time, the Mantis starts plunging towards him. It was so fast but since he was meters away from Adam, it will take at least a seconds, he believes.

Ken kept firing an arrow that was conjured with skill, which was then withstood by Mantis using its claw.

"Guess I have no choice but to activate my unique skill then.", he utters after seeing that his skill did not affect the Mantis at all.

So far, he had learned only one skill which is 'Silent Blazing Bulldozer Arrow'. It is mainly because he prefers learning more advance skills after he reaches level 500+ as the skill that Chosen can possess is limited.

Hence, he had no other skill to use except his unique skill.

At last, a word leaves Ken's mouth as he utters the unique skill's name...
