《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1970: Myles Campus

"Just how many Grimm Bastards have come here?" Elina asked as we have avoided another Grimm Monster with Ashlyn's direction.
It had been nearly two days since we had come to this ruin, and the closer we got to the Myles Campus, the more Grimm Monsters we encountered. In just within an hour, we have come across five Grimm Monsters, four elites, one leader class Tyrant.
Their numbers will continue to increse till we reach the Mylas Campus, where we might inevitably have to fight some Grimm Monsters, but that is nothing compared to the real danger we face. Hopefully, I should be able to leverage my formation-breaking ability and stay clear of the dangers.
"Another one," I said as Ashlyn had informed, and we again changed the direction and such nine more hours passed by when we had finally stopped as we could see what it seemed like a city from a distance; it is no city but a thousands of years old part of the powerful organization and things inside will help both of us immensely.
"We have to be more careful from now on; every step will be filled with danger and no, needless fighting, we can't afford to waste time or attract attention on us," I cautioned, to which she nodded.
A few minutes later, after Ashlyn mapped our journey again, we begin to move, but this time, it is at a much slower speed, avoiding both humans and Grimm Monsters.
I was surprised by just how many familiar humans I am seeing since I had come into this ruin; I know 60% I had seen. I do not know them personally but had read the information about them; a teacher had memorized the information of as many Tyrants she has, especially the powerful ones.

Anyone who becomes Elite Tyrant is a respectable powerhouse who holds some weight, and every organization creates a dossier of them.
"Quite a few people have come here; even Charles Bone had come," I said, referring to the rapist of great notoriety. He had served Pyramid for five decades before he earned his freedom. While he seemed to show he had changed his way and still faithfully serving the Pyramid, we had to stay as far away from it as possible.
"With the war, Pyramid is loosening the leash on its dogs to make them grow," Elina said with a sigh, and I couldn't help but nod.
Usually, Pyramid keeps a tight eye on the social deviants even if they are released after earning their freedom, from ruins to resources, everything is restricted for them till the Pyramid becomes very sure they have found the right way.
But with the war, Pyramid had nearly loosened all the restrictions on the free social deviants, so they would grow and help against the coming war.
It is an unfortunate reality; if it had been in my hand, I would have never let these bastards go free, especially deal with them after crime against them is established.
Three hours passed by, and we have finally entered the Myles Campus through the broken wall, which was quite hidden, and in front of us was a city that used to be a place where once upon a day, all the members of Bloodhare desire and despair.
As I had said, this is a research facility, and not all research facilities follow the code of ethics, and there is plenty of proof here that this one did not follow the ethics at all.
People had found many places that used many inhuman methods this place used to advance the power of the bloodline.

Due to that, there were many restrictions on this ruin before; only people authenticated by Supremes and Pyramid were able to come here, but now since the war had begun, it had become open to all. Anyone can come here, as long as one has the power of the elite.
As we passed through the cracked wall, a view of Myles Campus appeared in front of us. It is perfectly preserved; one could barely see any damage on the building, nearly 90% of the building here are in very good condition, and that makes them dangerous.
While the Myles campus is small in a general sense, it is quite beautiful; it would have been more beautiful when it was in its own world with manicured gardens and people around.
"It does not look like a place that used to do gruesome research," Elina said. Hearing that, I couldn't help but shook my head. "The people of this place had no moral and ethical compass, but not all research here was gruesome,"
"The people here had one target in mind, and that is advancing the power of bloodlines, and for it, they were willing to use any way they have, whether it is ethical or unethical," I said.
Sometimes, things are not in black and white; there is grey in between, and from what I had read about this organization, these people were mad about bloodline advancement, but they were no cold-blooded killers; they were just people who were willing to do anything for their goal and for some people, that is cold-bloodedness.
"As we have decided before, we will first go to the Edna Charm laboratory," I said, and Elina nodded. Edna Charm laboratory is one of the places where resin had been found, and the person who had found it was not able to get deep inside me due to the dangers it had.
This is good news for us; the Edna Charm laboratory is filled with the powerful, deadly formation, but unlike others, I would be able to broke them, and if I am lucky, I might be able to get my hands on that resin or something of similar value and functions.
I once again removed the map and looked at where it is, though I didn't have to remove the map, seeing I had already memorized and it is Ashlyn who will be taking it, but I still did, to feel little in control.
We are at a very dangerous place right now and where the slightest mistake on our part would kill us, and we did not want to get killed when we had reached so close to our destination.

Dragon Knight Prophecy
A hero, a dragon, and a love that breaks all bounds. A fantasy story of a man trying to save his homeland from a terrible war by completing a prophecy nobody fully understands. To complete his mission he needs a dragon but the road to the dragon’s lair goes horribly wrong, and when he finally faces the beast he stands alone. A deeply emotional story that deals with pain, regret, betrayal, and failure. Despite it all somehow our heroes discover they need each other and slowly come together. With the help of some dedicated friends they realize their love is special, and go on to forge a new world befitting their unusual union. If you like dragons, romance, a little magic and a lot of war this might be for you. This story eventually evolves into a very loving harem, where the women rely on and love one another just as much as they love our hero. Please note: I am an amateur writer who started this story as a form of therapy while my wife was teetering on the brink of death. Thankfully she survived but by that point I was so committed to telling this story I couldn’t stop. I learned a great deal about writing over time but I am afraid my early chapters were very rough. I have since gone back and begun to edit them, applying the lessons learned and cleaning them up. I hope you will still enjoy the story, as I love sharing it and I can’t imagine a better use of my time. Sexual content.. In seven books I have written two sex scenes, but one of them will be highly edited once I reach them with my rewrite. Overall I imply our characters are sharing their love but don't go into any great detail as to how. So if sexual content bothers you, it is only lightly touched on twice. The Harrowbird's Crown
(Formerly: Tales of a Harrowed House) Synopsis: This is the tale of an exiled royal family who, after their bloody reunion on the island of Providence, return to a war-torn homeland where once more, powerful forces pit sibling against sibling in a bid for the crown — and once more, the magical streets of Auctor echo their infamous motto: “Fire will Reign as Harrowbirds Soar!” From his humble beginnings as a shoemaker’s son, his year spent as a daringly brazen orphan caught between rivaling Houses and a mad ghost, and his fight for the crown after his return to Auctor, Corbyn faces a coming-of-age story unlike any before him as he discovers magic and birthright are two things he never knew he had. From the intimate narrative of a childhood that was never her own, her year spent struggling to find the person she is rather than the person her family needs her to be, the secrets she hides, and the truths she finds, Halle discovers herself on the fabled island of Providence as her House collapses around her, bids to enter a legendary school of magic in her homeland of Auctor, and fights for a crown she never knew she wanted. A high-action, character-focused story written with a poet’s styling, The Harrowbird’s Crown is a tale that will transport readers into the conflict and conquest of a royal family back on the rise. General Information: This story is more traditionally plotted. While the beginning may seem to start out slowly, when shit hits the fan: the action is constant, the mysteries are satisfying, and the character development is rewarding. Chapters are usually between 2.5-3.5 thousand words (though some, like the first and second chapters, can run up to 5k words). When it’s long it means that the chapter will just have that much content in it. There’s Action, Mystery, Fantasy, Comedy, and some Psychological undertakings. Romance hasn’t come up yet, but it may in future chapters. I try to have chapters out every Sunday at 7:00 CST Book One: The Ghost of Providence
