《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1969: Sound Sucking Bamboo Forest

"These cloaks really take quite a lot of energy," Elina said as she removed her cloaks, and beautiful black wings revealed themselves before disappearing behind her.
"I thought you would struggle to match me despite high level, but I guess I am wrong again," she said as she looked at me; despite such a tiring fly across the desert, there is barely any sweat on my forehead. "Your Bloodline gives you amazing speed; I would have struggled to match it we were at the same level," I said.
Hearing that, she arched her sculpted brow at me, "So, you are saying, I could not outfly you even if we were at the same level?" She asked; to that, I just smiled.
"One day, I will out leveled you and wipe that smug smile off your face," She said and moved toward the sound-sucking bamboo forest or a silent bamboo forest. The forest is filled with trees that absorb any sound that touches them, a perfect place for the murderous.
These sound-sucking bamboo trees are not really that powerful; they are above average trees which have an uncanny ability to such sound, a very useful ability, I might add.
They are only special to this ruin; seeing their specialty to create a natural soundproofing place, many people took their seeds and plants, but not a single one of them was able to grow. These trees could only be grown in this place which is kind of regretful; I would have loved to have some of them around my lakehouse.
We went inside the forest and moved with incredible speed, without caring for the sound we created as it could not be sensed.
Ashlyn had sensed a couple of Grimm Monsters and humans in the forest; they are pretty far away from us and would not be able to sense us even if they use their soul power with the full power.

"There is a mid-Elite Flame Horn Bullman in front of us," I said as Ashlyn had shown me the flash, "I want to fight it; in the last ruin I had gone, I did not get a chance to fight the Grimm Monster, it wall all the marsh monster," She said.
"We can not waste any time; you only have an hour. If you did not finish the, I would finish it for you," I said. "An hour will be more than enough," she said and disappeared from her spot.
Earlier she had said she wanted to fight against the Grimm Monster to test her recent increse; while I would not encourage such behavior as it is time wasting and might attract needless trouble but Elina had been sad since I had seen her and I feel fighting a Grimm Monster would cheer her up, I would be if I were sad.
It took her a minute to reach the Fire Horn Bullman, and they started fighting a second later; the Grimm Monster had begun with its usual threatening bullshit, but Elina did not give it any chance to finish up and attacked.
The Grimm Monster is obviously got very angry since he did not get to deliver its usual lines and attacked back with a fury, which had sent Elina a couple of steps back, but it did not seem to deter her, and she attacked it with even greater power.
There is a difference in the small level between them, but I have no doubt that Elina will be able to beat the Bullman. Not only because she had the phoenix bloodline but also because Elina had been working very hard and her fighting style had improved a lot.
She had somehow been able to receive, second bloodline impartment; in this impartment, not only did she gain advanced fighting knowledge but also gained advanced knowledge about her bloodline abilities; she had been getting used to this impartment in all the free time she had.

For the first ten minutes, it had looked like the fire horn Bullman would win without a doubt, as not only it had continued to push back Elina but also had to injure her.
Though it had not been able to maintain the edge for long as Elina exploded. Her fire bloomed, and she started to rain down one powerful attack after another at the Bullman. At first, it was able to counter the attacks due to its edge, but with time, the edge began to wear than before it had disappeared.
Now it is Elina who had started to get an edge on it, and by the time ten more minutes passed, she had got a complete edge and now pushing the Bullman back.
Earlier it was able to counter her, but now, it could only defend while getting injured by her fiery blade now and then. The injuries of phoenix fire are lacerating and very difficult to heal, and as they pile up, the Bullman started to get weaker and weaker till it had barely able to defend against her.
Seeing that, the Bullman lost the will to fight and started to run away, but how can Elina let her prey get away. She chased it while bringing down even more injuries down and a risky move before she was finally able to kill it by decapitation.
"It is quite a move you have used; its power can bring down even peak Elite if one is not careful," I said as I looked at the body of the Fire Horn Bullman.
"You should be careful; if you talk too much, I will use that move on you," she said and walked toward the dead Grimm Monster.
A pang of regret couldn't help but appear on my heart as I looked at it; it was a monster with a bloodline. If I could, I would have harvested it, and doing that would have benefitted a lot, but unfortunately, harvesting does not give me any more benefits; it will go to the people who live in my body.

At The Precipice
Defenseless. Scared. Alone. That describes the life of Brock Carter as of late. Following his ‘death’ at the hands of a vicious magpie, Brock is rescued by the machinations of the newly instated, all-powerful System and thrust knee-deep into a brutal world catered only to the strong. Fluctuating between two states of being and trapped within a city ravaged by time, he is told to either seek out the mysterious ‘Source’, or die trying. He just hopes he can do it without scuffing his expensive suit in the process. ***** Honestly, I've just always wanted to write a story. I had a crack at it a few years back, but the entire thing fell apart before it even began. At The Precipice was originally written as a way for me to destress and play with System elements and characters, but eventually I decided that if I was gonna write, why not post it too? Writing's just a hobby of mine, so don't expect this to be at published novel level, I guess, or even anything of relative polish. Updates every Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri Average chapter length is 2000 - 3000 words ***** What to expect: - A semi-comedic/light tone, mixed in with a gritty world and brutal survival (not ever grimdark though) - An MC that thinks about what he's going to do and why he'll do it, even if his internal logic is lacking. Is a rather rational person, not often influenced by his emotions, but can be in extreme situations. - A plot heavily focused upon the MC, but one that will branch off to envelope the other characters in the world at times. Often, it's just other people's perspectives of him. - A story of power growth. While the MC is certainly going to be powerful, even over 100 chapters in from what I've written, he still isn't the strongest being on Earth, let alone the entire Multiverse. - Lots of gore, vivid fight descriptions, and often times deaths of people, some even somewhat important to the story ***** Things this story will never have: - Harems - An edgy, villainous MC - An MC that does jackshit about things for 'plot reasons'

Twoen
The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper

Legends meet the 100
DC's Legends of Tomorrow accidentally end up on Earth 100 (which is where the events of the 100 take place) right before S3 E07 and without the whole Alie problem going on. The legends are the group at the end of season 5 plus Charlie and without Mick's daughter (Zari, Nate, Charlie, Behrad, Constantine, Ava, Mick, Sara, Astra). This crossover wasn't originally my idea, but I'll try to stay true to most events and characters.
