《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1967: Bloodhare

A bright smile couldn't help but appear on my face as the teleportation formation had lit up; the three of them had been eating away my ears for minutes.
The trio in front of me disappeared, and a second later, the face of elina had appeared in front of me. "It took you long enough; I thought you were staying at the wisdom tower forever." She said while showing me time on her holowatch.
"Nice joke," I said plainly and told my password to the security before I was allowed to go outside. "Has everything had been prepared?" I asked, "Yes, we were only waiting for the great successor," Elina replied with snark.
She seemed more snarky than usual; there is also faint sadness lingering in her eyes. "Has something happened?" I asked softly; I am sure there is something.
"Nothing happened," She replied, avoiding my eyes. I know she is lying, she only does that when she is lying, but I did not press her further; I know this might be something personal, and she will tell me when she is ready.
Soon we reached the yellow palace, a place where one of the ruin-breaking teleportation gates of the academy is places.
While having all the ruin-breaking gates in one place is more efficient, these are the core strategic resources, and placing them in one place is a huge mistake. Thousands of years of experience told us that the further they are from each other, the harder time enemies will have in destroying them.
Soon we entered the yellow palace and again gone through the checks before we entered the hall where the ruin breaking gate is placed.
"Successor, you are late," Said the familiar voice, "My apologies, councilwomen Marla," I apologized; she nodded before she turned toward the technical.

"Ross, activate the gate," Councilwomen Marla ordered, "Yes, councilwomen," He said and started to activate the gate, seeing that both of us activated our armor.
A purple fire covered Elina before it transformed into enchanting-feathered bloodline armor with a realistic phoenix. Her armor is graceful, filled with otherwordly beauty, and emitting the power of the elite. Yes, she had finally got the power of the elite.
She had worked extremly hard for it, going one dangerous ruin after another, without taking any break. All her hard work had paid off, and she had finally reached the elite class in the last ruin we have gone together.
She is still not satisfied and felt she could push even further into the elite stage and have the intention to make a breakthrough before she reaches that stage.
It is hard to believe she is the same woman who wanted to make a breakthrough into the Tyrant stage just because she felt she had reached the limit. I had made of her many time due to it, and she always gets angry when I do that.
I also summoned my armor and handed her artrus crystal, which she activated; I also activated the one in my hand. The ruin we are going to is extremly dangerous, but it does not a dangerous environment like the curseland ruins; these artros crystal are for something else.
Buzz!
"The gate is ready," technician ross had announced. "Best of luck, both of you," Councilwomen Marla said; we both nodded thanks and stepped inside the formation.
This will be my fifty ruin since the war had begun and the second one I had gone with Elina. Aside from not finding the Divine crystal, I had benefitted a lot from the ruins; not only did I find a humongous amount of resources, but I also found two chances which increased the power of my bloodline, which in turn increased my strength.

Still, I wish I had found the divine crystal; it would have solved all my problems. I had already gone to four dangerous ruins, and in each of them, I had to struggle hard and survive from many death blows I have come across.
I don't know for how long my luck would last, and if I had come across something which I could overcome with my wit and Ashlyn's help, I would die for sure. I don't know how many more ruins I will have to scour for it; sometimes, I just wish I could just accept the second off of Wisdom Tower and get it over with.
I cleared my head as I reached the end of the spatial tunnel; I will be entering the ruin soon; I have to be careful.
Everything turned dark in front of me before the harsh afternoon sun blazed on me; it is quite hot; regular people wouldn't be able to stay alive in this heat, even for a second, but despite the head, I found regular greenery around me.
"You seemed to have improved this artros crystal; this time, there was only around a hundred-meter distance between us this time," Elina said as she appeared beside me.
I have drawn a formation named 'Coupling' on the artros crystals; this formation helped us arrive closer to each other when we breached into the spatial layer of the ruin. I was very happy when I found the coupling formation in the broken tower when I was searching for unique stuff to get inspired.
I am the only one who could create the coupling formation; it is not just formation but also ink, a thing made of very precious resources, especially the one which is even more expensive than the divine crystal, but I was able to replace it with rule-bending power with some experiments.
In the last ruin, we appeared three miles from each other, but this time, it was only a hundred meters; I had made some changes in the formation with data I had collected last time.
"So, this is fearful Bloodhare Ruin; the environment of it is like some low-level ruin," Elina said, breathing in an energy deficient air. The energy of this ruin is very thin, far thinner than a central continent; usually, just slightly higher than the minor continents.
"Some factors could be deceiving," I said as I looked above at the blazing sun.

Techno-Heretic
Eli is an ancient man sentenced to death for the crime of surpassing the sacred number of 32.8, which is the allowed percentage of increased mental ability from the use of AI chips. As he journeys through death and into a world of fantasy and magic, he finds himself approaching never before seen heights of magical power and ability. Powers that will shape the world and would see him go down in legends for generations ever after. But just because someone acquires magical abilities, that doesn't mean magic is suddenly the most important thing in their life. Some people aren't looking to be all-powerful gods, have the world bow at their feet, or spend their days obsessing over accumulating ever more power. Some people just want acceptance, stability, and the warmth of their loved ones to drive away the cold loneliness of the night. And in a world where magic is the bedrock of society, where magic is what determines who is preferred for siring children, where people with high magical ability are destined to live in great luxury and those without magic simply live to make due, this difference in values and perspective could not have a starker contrast. As Eli and the people around him navigate the misconceptions and deceptions of this world, he will represent a great and magnificent future for the human race. One where humanity will stand above the elves, dwarves, orcs, fairies, and all the horrors of the world. Sadly, men's tools are as fallible as the people who make them, and in a society where the potential of an individual is determined solely through their magical level, this seed of promise may yet turn venomous.
