《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1950: Challange

One and a half hour passed since I walked out from that empty spot; I am now moving toward the last destination; I should be able to reach there in an hour or two.
It is a little harder to guess the time to reach there as everything is part of one giant building. If I did not have the map with me, I would have been quite confused. Though, I still get sometimes stuck when I don't see the way that is shown on the map.
It is a good thing I have Ashlyn; she has an impeccable sense of direction and rarely lets me get lost.
Chew Chew
Ashlyn chirped again, showing me a view of the monster that was not far from me; I avoided the monster and changed my direction and luckily came across few rare plants which I had harvested and continued with my journey.
As such, one and a half hour had passed, and I found myself standing in front of the non-descript round door, which looked like it was made of stone.
There is nothing strange about this door; there was not even a design on it. Though once upon a time, it used to have that, but thousands of years of time had faded it, and now it just looked like a regular stone door with a circular design.
There had been only six people who came here before, according to the information I had received from the Pyramid, and all six of them had gone to different places for the challenge.
All of them had described the challenges strange and that they had barely survived it, but all of them received a great price, with two receiving Divine crystal and the resource of the same category.
It could be said behind the door is a dangerous challenge; if I had survived, I would receive a great reward, probably Divine Crystal or something similar. If I failed, I would lose my life.

I am sure more than six people tried the challenge here; some have not reported, while others died. This door is a huge risk for me as all those who tried were Master class Tyrants. I would have not known about this door if not for councilwomen Marla telling me about it herself.
The information provided to me by the Pyramid had no mention of this door. That old woman had herself told me about it, and if I did not know the old woman better, I would have thought she was trying to kill me.
Before giving me information about this door, she had told me it would not be easy to find the divine crystal since it is one of the most desired resources. If I want to get it, I will have to take some significant risks that even people of her level would not dare to take.
I looked at the door for a moment before I had removed the air pen; as I activated it, hundreds of runes began to appear before forming a huge formation, and that went flying toward the round door.
This formation is key to open this round door, I don't know how one got it, but I am happy. I won't have to try hard to bring the formation out and break it; it would have wasted a lot of time.
Buzz!
The runic formation had stuck on the door before they went inside, and the whole door lighted up before turning watery. Seeing that smile appeared on my face, for a moment, I thought it might not work, but it did.
I looked at the spatial gate for a moment before stepping inside it and found myself in an empty white hall; there is nothing here except for an empty white hall.

"Congratulations, 10000th Challenger, Its your lucky day." "According to the wishes of the master, you will be directly given the reward without attempting a challenge," said a voice in a singsong tone, just like the notes had said.
I had focused on the words for a moment before the reality of words seeped in my mind, and I could not believe this happening. I had rarely found a fortune without danger, but as they say, every dog has its day, and today seemed to be my day.
Seven formations lit up around me, and a stone table appeared, and on them were treasures; seeing them, my eyes couldn't help but pop out; of the seven things that appeared, there are three things I need.
"Remember, you could only pick one thing," The singsong voice said, but this time, there was a hint of warning it. While I am a little disappointed to hear that, I am still very happy as I am finally going to get the thing I need.
There are seven things that appeared in front of me, three are artifacts, and four are resources. I completely discarded the artifacts; no matter how good they are, they are not going to be any help to me; I also discarded the one resource, which is extremely rare, but I have no need for it.
I looked at the three resources, first is divine crystal, a thing for which I have come to this ruin. It is the size of one year child's fist in perfect white cube shape. While the crystal is smaller than what her excellency had, it is more than enough for me.
I wanted to choose it then and there, but I looked following resource, which is at the same level as divine crystal and could be used in core formation in its place. It is a black rock with leafy patterns that seem to move.
Baen Flaik Rock, it does what divine crystal does but is mainly used by the alchemists.
The last resource is thumbside green leaf with earthly cloud patterns on it; it is a leaf of cloud horn tree and the resource I am going to choose. It is more suitable for me than divine crystal; it will provide my core with more benefits than the divine crystal would.
The faint smell that was wafting from it already made my body hunger for me, and I opened my mouth to choose it when suddenly I noticed something which stopped me on my track and made me close my opened mouth.
