《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1935: The Target

It was late evening when I was able to return; the scenes are I had seen earlier were weighing on my mind; From the afternoon to midnight, five million humans had already died. This number is even greater than the records of the past epoch war, where four million people had died.
Even Pyramid seemed to surprise by the number of casualties in a single day, though the experts are saying numbers would decrease a lot in few days when the weaklings got weeds out but still, what kind of number is five million.
The number of deaths in the Grimm Monsters side is even higher, but it does not matter; they have a huge number, and there are many more that are hiding. That once those forces are revealed, we would have to try our all to hold them back.
Ive seen the battles, and it is exceptionally bloody, where both sides are hellbent on hacking each other on every battlefield on the eleven contested continents.
There are a total of sixteen minor continents; of sixteen, three are totally occupied by the Grimm Monsters while the two are in the hands of humans; within a month or two, these dynamics will change. The war will also reach the continents which have been completely occupied by the other side.
As I had said, nobody will be spared in this war; it will be spread everywhere, and everybody will become involved in it, including us.
Currently, Elina and I have been excluded from the war deployment; we have been added into project 'New Elites'; we will not be deployed till we have become elite, but we do not have unlimited time; at max, we have six months before Pyramid will be a forced to deploy us.
From Academy only, Elina and I had been included in this project, but I am sure there will be more people from other organizations, including those from supremes.

To be honest, I did not like this exclusion from the war; seeing the scenes of battle, I wanted to join my brethren, help them against the Grimm Monsters, but the Pyramid is right.
We need to focus on our progress; we are the ones with the greatest potential that could change the directions, but before we do that, we have to grow into our full potential, and the first step of that is becoming a Tyrant.
The Pyramid had already said they expected each and every one of us to be a peak Elite at the least when we broke up into the Tyrant stage.
This is too low of the target for Elina and me right now; I already have a strength of the peak elite; if Pyramid comes to know about it, I am sure even Grand Commander would be shocked by it.
Our target is Leader class, and if everything went alright, then I would easily be leader class Tyrant when I broke into the Tyrant stage and not an initial leader class but a Mid-level class Tyrant, and if my luck is extremely good, I would be a peak leader class Tyrant with high potential to reach the Master class.
Elina had also set her target on gaining the strength of the elite; once she got and broke through into the Tyrant stage, her Death Phoenix bloodline will surely make her a leader class Tyrant.
The war had started earlier than I had expected; I had thought I still had months or two, but I did not. Now, I have to work twice as hard to level up to the Tyrant stage before the time limit of the project 'New Elite' is over.
I do not much care about the project 'New Elite,' but I do appreciate the time it has given me without any stress. Not only that, but it had also opened access to new resources like secrete ruins and other things.

I had put up a special request about XX category ruins, these ruins are not involved in my newly gained access from the Pyramid, but it could be fulfilled seeing the times we are in. In such times, Pyramid let the people take the higher risk instead of restricting them.
While there is a huge chance of death, but person survive, they go through big growth, and that is what Pyramid a want.
With the war beginning, I plan to scour the ruins soon; I have decided to go into the ruin scouring from next week. The sooner I have all the resources in my hand, the more I will be able to focus on my Inheritance.
As for taking Elina with me as she had asked, I planned on taking Elina with me; I will not take her to all the ruins, just those I think will be useful to her, and I think one of the ruins I had selected would be very useful to her.
While I want to scour the ruins as soon as possible, I will not enter them without any preparations. Those runes are extremely dangerous that only leader class and above dared to take a step inside them; if I go there unprepared, my death is guaranteed.
Every step has to be cautious; otherwise, I will die before I know it, and I don't want to die in the ruin. If I were to di, I would prefer to be on the battlefield, fighting and killing the Grimm Monsters till my last breath; like many brave souls did and doing it on the battles being fought on this on the minor continents.
I massaged my head and went to the bed; I am feeling hungry right now but in no mood to eat anything. I just want to sleep.
From tomorrow, I will have too much to do; the teacher had even asked me to teach a group of talented healers for at least one hour. Aside from the supremes, our Academy has the best healers, and their value is far greater than the fighters.
