《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1919: Safe

"Eeeee!"
I concentrated all my energy into my hands and concentrated as I pushed myself back, and I was able to do it. Though the distance has been only a few centimeters, it is enough to motivate me.
After success, I increased my efforts further and was able to push myself even back; slowly, I began to push back, covering a tiny distance each time till I felt the soul-crushing pressure of me vanished. There is still a very heavy pressure on me, but it would not kill me as that pressure would have.
That pressure I had just experienced would have been enough to crush most of the people of the initial Leader class, but I bore it and survived.
I took a couple of deep breaths and started healing my injuries; even with the grandmaster level healing rule, I was only able to stop my injuries from getting worse, not able to heal them.
I am heavily injured from every part of my body, healing would take time, but I have all the time in the world, this pressure is not going to kill me. So, without wasting any time, I begin to heal them as I lay on the ground.
"I told you to not go over your head, now look, you have fallen down without any energy to get up," The voice of an old woman rang out in my ear, just a minute after I had started healing myself.
I craned my neck gently and looked at her; though I had kept my face blank, still I have her the look. I needed help earlier, and this old woman was not ready to open her eyes, and now, when I am out of danger, she opened her eyes and even scolding me.
If there was not a fear of this old woman beating the shit out of me, if I stepped my bounds, I would have definitely answered her back.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Do you need help? If you need help, just ask me; I would be more than happy to drag you back to the safety," She asked. "There is no need, Councilwomen; I would ask for help if I need it," I said slowly in barely hearable words.
The pressure here is of the leader level; I was even able to talk like this already shocking; if I had not experienced that colossal pressure, I would not have been able to do something like this.
"Fine, if you say so, but you need help, just shout; this old woman would drag you back to safety," she said as she changed her position and started meditating again, and I resumed my healing.
It took me a little more than an hour to heal my injuries; they were much deeper than I had thought, but I was able to heal them all, and now, it is time to get up and pluck those fruits for which I had taken these deathly steps.
I started to lift myself up, which was much harder than I had thought it would be. The pressure here is great; I had to use all my efforts to lift myself a centimeter. The process of getting up was slow and extremely tiring, but after twenty minutes of great effort, I was able to stand up.
A smile couldn't help but appear on my face, and I turned at three of those juicy malachite apples for them I had risked so much.
I had wasted no time and started to collect them; it took me less than a minute to pluck all seventeen malachite apples and stored them in my storage carefully. With that done, I began to take a step back; there was no need to stay under such high pressure seeing I had collected the fruits and also sucked all the energy it could from the steps.

"Are you planning to take energies under every step?" I asked a few minutes later when the old woman opened her eyes. "Yes, I want to absorb these energies till the last step," she replied before changing her place and closing her eyes.
Hearing that, I couldn't help but sigh as it would take a while; seeing that, I found a good spot and laid down before closing my eyes. Since I have time, I might as well use it toward my Inheritance; I had got huge inspiration here, it will definitely help me improve my healing arts.
Time passed by, in the Inheritance space, I had first noted down all the inspirations I had before I started working on the healing section of my Inheritance, improving it by the minute. I had been inside for days while two days passed outside.
"You are finished," I said as I opened my eyes; the old woman was walking toward me, she looked a little tired, but there was great vibrancy in her eyes. "This energy had been extremely helpful to me. It had helped me loosen the boundary; I am sure those fruits I have got here help me even more," She said, and she seemed very hopeful.
Well, she is right, the energy is extremely helpful, and fruits are even more so. They will help her more than she imagined to be, I could tell with confidence as I have the first-hand experience of how miraculous these fruits are.
"Let's go; your teacher and others might have started to worry; I had messaged them we would be returning in a day, but it had been nearly three," she said, and we walked out of The Garden.
The councilwomen had activated the first pearl, which runes have covered it; while Grimm Monsters and others might not be able to discover it inside the garden, there is a huge chance they would discover it after we have got out, so we have to be careful.
After we got out of the cave, old women activated the second pearl, which tore the rift open for us, and we walked inside, and the rift closed behind us. We were able to travel the lower continent without being discovered; not many people of our level could do this feat in these times.
