《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1899: Rainbow Bubbles

"Die, Humans!"
The Apeman and Frogman shouted as they attacked. The Apeman had a huge Warhammer while the Frogman had its Saber but the most dangerous weapon it held its tongue.
Their attacks are extremely powerful, if they hit my body directly, I would be in a load of trouble, but that is not going to happen. While they may be powerful than me but I am used to facing such enemies, and I am not alone.
Bang Bang!
The attacks came at us, but as they reached halfway, a wall of tiny rainbow bubbles materialized in front of their attacks, and as the attacks crashed into it, it exploded, taking of huge chunk of power and momentum from the coming attacks.
Despite the power of their attacks being reduced by the bubble wall, the Grimm Monster continued with their attacks as they poured more power into them.
I could see them very angry at Danielle. First, her bubbles incapacitated their two friends, who are still struggling against the bubble, by the way, and now she had reduced the power of their attacks; how can they not be angry.
CLANG CLANG!
The hammer of the Apeman struck against my toothpick sword, bringing down huge physical force and bloodline energy. As both of the forces have struck against me, several formations on my armor lit up; they sucked the force and crushed it before being absorbed by my runes.
After the last big meal, my runes have received a huge boost, and with this boost, my armor was finally able to activate some of the formations that couldn't be activated before. These formations are very strong, able to crush much stronger energies and physical forces.
"Fuck Fuck!"

They had just finished with the attack when suddenly, they found rainbow bubbles forming on their bodies at a rapid speed; by the time they had finished with their curses, they were completely covered with the rainbow-colored bubbles.
They did not remain in the bubbles for long; a second later powerful aura blasted off them and burned the bubbles off their bodies.
They were raging mad as I had expected, but they did not immediately attack; instead, both of them looked at Danielle before a weird smile appeared on their faces.
"We are quite lucky; not only we are killing a Grandmaster Runesmith but also the one comprehended the Grand Art, the council member would personally reward us for this feat," The Red Horn Apeman said. "Yes, we just have to be a little careful about this bitch's body, should not let the arts origin dissipate before the supreme lords inspect it," The Lolite Frogman.
"You people haven't even been able to touch us and still dreaming about killing, aren't you thinking too further?" I asked, genuinely concerned about the mental state of the two Grimm Monsters.
"Hehe, human, we are peak elites; what we have shown you now is the spec of our power," The Apeman said laughingly, seeing that laugh couldn't escape from my mouth, which made them even angry.
"It looks like you did not believe us human; looks like we will have to show them the real power of the peak elites," said the Frogman in its eerie croaky voice before a shattering aura blasted across its body that started to make the air around it crackled heavily as if the particles of air are breaking apart under its pressure.
The Apeman had also blasted off a powerful aura which transformed into a huge phantom of hideous-looking Red Horned Apeman before the phantom turned into the energy and merged back into its body, bringing the changes into its armor.

"Herird's Mercy!" "Cyclone of Death!"
Both shouted and came at us with their attacks bearing the explosive power. I did not waste any time and activated the 'Second Boost,' the first boost could not deal with such attacks; only the second boost could provide me with the power to defend against them.
"Die, you wretched bastards!" Both of them shouted and attacked.
This time too, the rainbow bubbles have appeared, but those bubbles have not appeared on the bodies of the Grimm Monsters or between them, no they appeared their weapons, sucking the energy off the attack, but that did not stop the giant bastards as they poured more energy on their attacks and came at us.
CLANNG!
My sword clashed against the huge red Warhammer of the Apeman, and I shook. The physical power of the attack had been great enough that it shook me, but that is all it was able to do against me. The formation inside my armor had crushed the rest of my physical energy and bloodline energy before feeding it to my runes.
I would not be able to dodge the attack this easily if not for Danielle's bubbles which had reduced the power of the attack by 30% despite them pouring more energy into the attack.
CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG
This time, the Grimm Monsters did not waste time talking; instead, they launched another powerful attack and then another. They seemed to want to tired us, or tired Danielle out; while the Grand Arts are powerful, they need immense mental energies.
Mental Energy Method present in each art, not only one have to comprehend the art but also have to practice the method to increase their mental energy.
In one of our conversations, my father let it slip that my mother is still practicing her mental energy method, and even though the curse had somehow restricted the use of her Grand Art, it could not stop her from comprehending it.
Her mental energy and comprehension of her Grand Art have become powerful enough that she could barely use her art.
So, even if the Tyrant had attacked her, she would not be as powerless against it as people thought she would be.
Danielle's comprehension of her art is much lower, as she had much lesser time to practice the mental method, but she said she would be still able to handle them for forty-five minutes to an hour, which is more than enough time for me to deal with one of them which will make easier for Danielle to deal with the other one.

By cold steel and elemental sorcery, they brought peace to a warring land on the brink of destruction. The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. Right as Rage
Only 15 years have passed since the miscreant god, Villi, stole magic from the gods and gave it to mortals. In response the mortals seem to be doing their best to squander this gift. The Kingdom of Abrune regulates it, the church of the Sacred Hierarchies outright condemns it, but one 'wildman' from across the sea begins his journey after being cursed by it. Vakdragnar's curse manifests when he loses his temper. It has driven everyone he’s ever cared about away from him. Out of options and money, he travels to the city of Tirough and quickly finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He is persecuted despite his intentions to do good. How can you stand against evil if everyone you’re trying to protect thinks you’re the villain? And if this curse is truly a part of him now, what if they’re right? **************************************************************************************************** Right as Rage is a story I’ve been excited to write for some time now. I hope everyone is as excited to read it. This story is going to be told over several arcs, with each arc containing 7-12 chapters, and an interlude or two each. I plan on submitting new chapters once a week on Tuesday evenings.
