《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1889: Bloodline Essence Crystals

"Human, you have done something to me; what is it?" It asked while stopping the attacks of the phantoms, though these phantoms are still blocking me against the wall.
"Really? I am not doing anything," I replied, completely denying I was doing anything to it. I do not deny it for some reason but just to make fun of it. It had already fallen into my trap, and even though I would have liked a few more minutes more, it is still fine.
"Don't fucking joke, human, tell me what you have done to me," It shouted, and this time, there was a clear hint of panic in its voice. It had really seemed to become sure I had done something to it, and if I did not give it an answer, it might do something.
"I told you, I have done nothing to you," I said back, again denying. "You fucking bastard, it looked like playing nice won't work on you; I will have to make you reveal by force!" It said, and a powerful aura exploded out of it and tried to come at me when it found out, it could not.
It had frozen on its spot, unable to move even an inch, not only its body parts but also its mouth and eyes, but one could see the emotions in its eyes to know what it was feeling.
The sudden turn of events had shocked those watching; both human and Grimm Monsters had horrors on their face as they watched the battle.
This is something that is out of horror for them. I have done something to the Bone Snakeman that had made it incapable of movements; it could not twitch its eyes, much less speak.
Suddenly, the horror in the eyes of Bone Snakeman had disappeared, and vicious glints took its place. The next moment, I saw the three phantoms moving, seeing that smile appeared on my face and the next second light pink fog appeared on its body out of nowhere, and the phantoms stopped, and they began to break themselves.

Huge poisonous energy spread around as the phantoms collapsed, but since they were not targeting anyone, I and other elites could defend against it without any problem.
I did a simple thing, I isolated the Bone Swordman. Created a small space of the Rule Breaking power that isolated it from the world.
So, even if the phantoms act on their own, they still need an anchor to rely on, which is Bone Snakeman, but when I broke that anchor, making phantoms believe their creator is dead, they will collapse on their own.
"Ice Dome!"
I said as I looked at the horror-filled eyes of the Bone Sword as we got covered in the sanguine white dome.
I am still burning my essence, though in much moderate amount. If it had been up to me, I would have stopped doing that, but currently, my condition is very precarious. It is due to the essence I am currently operating; if I had stopped now, I would be too tired to do anything.
The essence is still burning at the manageable level, but I still have to hurry and deal with the Bone Snakeman. Its bloodline essence would help me a lot in recovering.
As the ice dome finished covering us, I made my vines visible; they have covered 88% of it, and I now feeding them my essence to grow fast.
The Bone Snakeman had finally understood what was happening to it and tried to break it, but all its attempts were futile. My vines are not something that could be broken by elites; even those above elites would have to use considerable force to break them.
Puch Puch Puch!
With me feeding the vines, my essence, they quickly covered 95% of it. Seeing that, thousands of sharp ends split out before piercing through the skin of Bone Snakeman.

It seemed to have used some method to make its skin more defensive, and it would help it if I had not been using my essence to power up the vines. My vines pierced through its body and went inside it, and just they tried to grow inside it, they faced immense resistance from its bloodline.
I am not surprised feeling such great resistance; I would have been if I had not felt such resistance. The Bloodline of the Bone Snakeman is immensely powerful, such resistance from it natural.
I started to feed my vines even more of the essence, both to resist the bloodline and grow faster. The sooner they spread inside it, the faster runes would come out and started harnessing the bloodline, and I needed them to come out as soon as possible.
Currently, there is equilibrium between the two sides, but it could get broken at any time, and currently, I am in no condition to fight any battle. If I do, I will end up damaging my formation permanently; I do not want it to happen.
It took seven minutes for me to cover its whole body, both inside and outside, with my runes, and I nearly burned all the essence I could safely. I now could not burn any large amount of my essence without damaging the formation.
I waited for the runes to come out, and I did not have to wait for long. Nine seconds later, the Silver and Green runes came out and began to spread across the vines; it took them around fifteen seconds to completely spread over the vines.
A moment after runes spread, the floodgates opened, and all I saw were violet crystals glittering in the thick bloodline energy which came into my body.
I had never seen even half an amount of crystals in any bloodline energy I had every harness. There are millions of glittering bloodline essence crystals in it, more than three times I had seen in the bloodline essence of the werewolf.
Seining such an immense amount of bloodline essence crystals, my eyes couldn't help but go wide in shock before my heart started beating in intense excitement.

Demon Hunters
Far in the future, the last two viable cities in the western hemisphere – Technoburbia and New Baravia – struggle for control over a vast and largely desolate land. Officially they are at war. In practice, the war has been a stalemate for a generation, the disputed frontier between the two city-states never moving. In the city of New Baravia itself, a vast circular concrete wall keeps its inhabitants in, and its refugees out. For its citizens, life is monotonous and unequal, with enormous wealth in the hands of nobles, criminal gangs, and entertainment bosses. It is the last of these that control the hit entertainment show, “Demon Hunters”. A chance, perhaps, for the ordinary man or woman to rise up, and change their fate... This LitRPG novella is based around a futuristic battle-royale situation, partly set in VR, and partly in a post-apocalyptic city. The story features combat and action, some strong language, and lots of great characters that will stick with you! [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
