《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1886: Intense Battle II

"Ninth Strike!"
It said, and its ax came at me bearing the colossal pressure, the pressure of that violet energy is so great that it had constricted my movements greatly.
'Everwings!'
I activated the Everwings. If I tried to take the attack without Everwing's power, I would regret it badly. There is no way I would be able to the raw physical power of the attack, not to forget it's the energy that is most dangerous; it will ravage me.
With the power of the everwings, I moved my sword to defend. I do not want to counter, nor do I have the strength to against such an enemy who is many times stronger than me.
CLANNNG!
Its ax came down on my sword again, bring raw power that shook every cell of my body and wanted me to take steps back, but I held on against the raw power while my armor dealt with the dark violet energy that came at it.
I could see the eyes of the Bone Snakeman are focused on the energy rather than the ax which is pressing against my sword. Still, I could not take advantage of it and strike against it; it would react to my slightest movements. I had tried it many times and failed each time.
I still moved my sword to make it look like I am taking advantage of it; I had to make it believe that I am fighting it with every effort; if it sensed something amiss, I would be in deep trouble.
Unlike the other Grimm Monsters I had faced, this one is extremly powerful. I could not afford to have it realized, and even though I consider my plan is perfect and no elite should be able to discover it, many strange abilities exist, and I do not give it a reason to use it if it has them.

"Tenth Strike!"
It looked at me till all the energy had disappeared into my armor which barely took a second, and launched another attack which is even more powerful and forced me to harness more power from my runes.
CLANNNG!
Our weapons clashed again with even more power, and this time, the Bone Snakeman did not wait even for a moment before it took back its sword and attacked again.
"Eleventh Strike!"
It shouted, and its ax blazed with even denser violet energy as it came at me. I harnessed more power from the runes and swung my own sword.
I would have very much liked to dodge this attack, but I did not have the speed to do it. Bone Snakeman had great speed; it will be easily able to counter my dodge. So, it is better for me to stay on my spot and defend against these attacks.
CLANNNG!
Its ax struck against my sword, sending me to step back while shaking up my internal organs with raw physical energy. If I did not have the powerful defenses and the strong body, those internal organs would have turned into space.
"You are one of strangest humans I had even fought; you have less than a half strength of me, but you are still able to defend against my attacks without suffering any injuries," It said while pressing me down with its ax.
"It is very strange, and I like to see how far this strangeness goes," It said in a low voice and brought back its ax.
"Final Strike!"
It shouted and attacked; seeing the attack, the expression on my face changed. I immediately harness as much as the power the 'Everwings' could give me. I had expected the attack to be powerful but not this powerful; it is beyond what I had thought.

The dark violet energy is now burning like a flame across its black ax, and this dense energy is creating quite a pressure on me.
The mental and physical pressure of this energy is immense that weaker unraked Tyrant would fall on its knees. While I was stressed seeing this powerful attack coming at me, one part of my mind was observing it very clearly.
For a long while, I have been searching for something like that; I wanted to make my Inheritance energy have heaviness in it that could suppress one both physically and mentally, but I had not found someone with such energy.
Our academy does not have someone with such aura; there are some people in the supreme, but they are too powerful, and they likely do not let me observe their energies.
This Bone Snakeman is very powerful and has the potential to become even more powerful. The resources it had obtained here would help it in a big way, increasing its strength, and that will make it an even bigger thorn against us humans.
It should be quickly dealt with before it becomes too big of a threat, and I will try to kill it, but first, I have to save myself. There is a chance that I might get killed by it before I can fling my trap.
CLANNNG!
The ax of it came down on my sword, and I felt like the world had stopped for a moment before I found myself in the air flying back like a ragged doll while thick violet energy, which looked like a flame, had covered my whole body and now drilling into my armor with the intention to burn me with its poisonous fire.
Puh Puh Puh
I puked the blood while activating all the defensive formations I have in my armor and piloting some of them myself, so I could better deal with the humongous amount of energy coming at me.
Usually, the formations operated themselves fine, but this time, I did not want to take the risk. I am already injured by the raw physical power that hit me, and if I let this powerful energy inside me before it had been completely nullified of danger, my internal organs would take a fatal hit.
BANG!
I was dealing with the violet energy when I crashed against the wall of the herb hall hard and vomited a few more mouthfuls of blood with tiny pieces of my internal organs in it.

Most of it is already written, but I'm going through the chapters and editing the shit out of them. This story is NOT a Lit-RPG, so no blue screens or anything of the sort. It is just fast-paced fiction with slight cultivation elements. Updates are bi-daily (so every 2 days), and chapters are 1500-3000 words. As always, feedback is more than welcome. Why are you still reading the synopsis? You have already decided. Go ahead, give this story a shot. It's worth it.
