《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1615: A Good Stab

"Human, it seemed like I have to use my most powerful move to kill you," The Blackbear roared while looking at me with hate.
It did not seem to want to use that move; using that move will mean showing the others its limit, and no one wanted others to know how powerful they are exactly; I am also no exception to that fact.
Still, it now has no choice but to use all its strength to defeat me; with so many people watching, it is a thing of honor to it, if it backed down now, all the honor it had earned fighting the humans would be lost, and it might even get punished by its tribe.
"Goreas Blessing!" It said piously in an almost whisper-like voice, and as it said it, the Phantom of huge Black Bearman appeared behind it, and it looked a lot more vivid.
If normal people looked at the Phantom, they would find it real instead of being Phantom made of energies.
Unlike last time, I did not directly look into phantoms eyes, but despite that, I felt huge pressure and feeling powerlessness emerged from my heart that wanted me to give up.
Heeding that feeling, I nearly given up, loosen the sword from my hand before suddenly coming to myself.
'Fuck!' I couldn't help but curse inside me; the compulsion is fucking strong; if not for my strong will, I would have given my, and that would have been disastrous for me, I would have become fish on the block for the Bearman's hammer to crushed into the paste.
It is a good thing that the Phantom behind the lasted only for a moment before it entered the Bearman's body.
As the Phantom entered the Black Bearman's body, the changes begin to occur on it. Runes began to appear on the Bloodline Armor of it, and Bloodline Armor begins to thin out, becoming more delicate.

The blazing aura begins to turn mute till I sensed no aura from it, and this continued for about five seconds when a faint aura begins to release from its body.
'Fuck!' I cursed, sensing that aura and activated 'Everwings' without hesitation as I did; strength like never before begin to course through me, and I wanted to attack it immediately, but I did not.
I did not attack not because there is any danger but because I want it at its full power.
One barely comes across such an opponent, and I want to fight it at its full strength. Though it is not a wise design, I had already waited enough and would not lose if I had waited some more.
I had already rushed the fight, and if I rushed more, the battle would not be enjoyable.
Let it increase its power as much as it wants; I know I will be a final winner.
"Hehe, Human now bear the strength of Goreas Bloodline," It said with laugh with itself infused with power than, each of word it spoke felt like a powerful punch at my head.
The moment it had finished speaking, it launched the attack and seeing the attack, I had wasted not time harnessing nearly all the power of the 'First Boost+Everwings.'
As I harnessed their full power, a surprise change had occurred to me; I found myself covered in very faint diamond sheen; it is so faint that it is nearly invisible to the eyes. This very faint sheen had covered nearly every cell of my body.
A flash of surprise appeared on its face for some reason, but that did not stop Bearman from continuing its attack; it even increased its power mid-attack.
I did not waste any time and swing my sword toward the hammer; as my sword moved toward it, I felt something different; I don't know what it is but know it is something different; I just hope it did not affect my attack power.

CLLANNNG!
STEP!
Our weapons clashed, and a look of shock appeared on the Bearman's face as its whole body shook, and it was forced to take a step back; not only that, blood also leaked out its nose.
The change had shocked not only me but also me, as this effect is too great. I had not expected to shake all over as the strength of our attack was nearly the same, but not only Bearman's huge body shook, but it had also had to take a step back, and blood leaked out of its nose.
Though I am shocked by the power of my attack, I did not waste any time launching another attack while enveloping both of us with a fiery dome, so others could not see what is happening.
"Bastard!"
The Bearman cursed, seeing my attack, and moved its hammer in a defensive position due to my attack being too quick.
CLLANNNG!
STEP!
My attack clashed against its hammer, sending a greater shake across its body and making it taking another step back with greater momentum; the power of the attack is so great that it had barely able to stop from taking another step.
PUCHI!
"You Wretched Hu"
It had just stabilized itself and uttered a curse when it found my sword stabbed in its back which had shocked it greatly as it had not expected the attack coming from behind.
There was barely any space left behind it on the tile, which is why it had stopped the second step's momentum, bearing that force with its body, harming it little, which gave me enough to act using all my strength.
While the space behind it was not enough for Huge Bearman like it to take a single step back, it was enough for a human like me.
These fortunate circumstances had given me enough chance to make a killing move against it.
I did not kill it with my attack, I still have to harvest its essence and Bloodline, but I poured enough energy inside it to immobilize it for few seconds. I have to bind it quickly with my ribbons before its powerful Bloodline suppressed all the energy I had poured inside it.

Code Reader Kagami (LitRPG)
Sometimes things happen in this world that we are not in control of. Sometimes we are to a certain degree, and sometimes we are completely in control. However, this is a tale that constantly questions those boundaries. The story follows Kagami, a young programmer, as he winds up in a world almost alien to him. If it were up to him, he would have never visited this world and would rather stay raising his young daughter. Was it through his own actions that he had wound up here? Was it due to several combinations of factors? Or was it something he completely chose. These are questions that constantly haunt Kagami’s mind as he wanders this world and ponders his actions. Unfortunately, the glaring truth of it all refuses to ever look him in the eyes. Each night as he looks up at the night sky, he wonders if the end of this would turn out like the game he made. A tale of Guts and Glory… or would it turn out like he fears, a tale of blood and tears. Regardless of how it turns out, he will one day unveil the truth enshrouding it all. And perhaps in doing so, unveil the fate of his old world, enshrouded by mystery. ___________________________________________________________________________ While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you. Thank you~

Guerdon
The sheer vastness of the planes of reality meant that if a combination of laws is stable enough, then it probably exists. The protagonist encounters one such stranger than fiction world that he has a hard time wrapping his head around. He is left alone in an Alien Reality. To him survival isn't the most important after all that he had been through, but he refuses defeat in his pursuit to understand the strange reality he finds himself in. Join this journey of his new story in finding out the answers and secrets of this world. I like this Genre to put it bluntly but I've always found that illogical 'Science' and flawed laws of the world, typical in these stories. So, I've decided to fix that. I have tried my best to make weirdness make sense in this World filled with Magic. Short of simulating them to verify, the laws of this new world should make some reasonable sense and will be consistent (As much as I humanely can keep it that way). This might mean my story might vary in it's progression speed but as a compensation, I promise to have a lot more sensible Cliffhangers if I must put them in. Also, I'm not a big fan of over using vocabulary when telling a story. So, My Language will be very unsophisticated. Hope that's not a putoff. So, Enjoy your reading!
