She is shocked seeing the vine, not because of its tiny size compared to other vines that are coming toward her but because she did not sense it.

She had a very powerful bloodline, it gives her very powerful sensory powers, and when it added to the sensory rule, she comprehended to a very high level, it very difficult for anything to catch her off guard without her knowledge.

Even the most powerful Emperor Level assassin of her organization was not able to get close to her before she sensed him, but this delicate vine had got her ankle without her knowing, and now its growing up but also moving upward to bind her.

Ellen was shocked seeing it; she thought the strength she used was more than enough to cut through these vines, but all her strength is was only able to reach half a centimeter inside it, and just as she removed her sword from it, a tiny gap she made got filled.

It had shocked her even more; there were a huge amount of energies she had added into the gap; she was planning to attack the same spot again, but that spot healed the moment she removed the sword and the powerful energies she had released earlier, that were powerful enough explode a 'Monster' guzzled up by the vines.

She still moved her sword to attack again, but as just as her sword reached up, vines climbed into her hands and bound her despite having a very powerful repelling force covering her hands.

She had covered her arms with very powerful repelling force when she first noticed the vine, but the which now had divided itself into the multiple vines tore through that repelling force and binded her arms so strongly that she became unable to move them to launch the attacks.
