《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1393: Green King

Blaze!
I watched the necrotic core blaze up in my palm, and within a few seconds, it had all but disappeared. The price I won after fighting for little more than an hour had disappeared within seconds.
It is the ninth day to the fifth month, and till now, the Green Kings have not appeared yet. I hope they will not appear for two weeks more; I am far from creating the Diamond Seal or reaching the King Stage.
Ive finished designing my King Stage Inheritance and was extremely lucky to reach the 4th floor of my Refinement Tower the day I had fought that fatty Ghoul, but that is all progress I had made.
I am still far from reaching the required strength needed to equip with my King Stag inheritance and feeling like I had chewed more than I had swallowed.
In my overenthusiasm, I created the Inheritance with the requirement that is even those with Apex Constitution like mine have a problem getting, and I am seriously having thoughts of creating lower level option.
If I wanted to create a good lower-level option, it would take me at least two months, but I do patchwork and put in a little more time, I could finish within two weeks. Though it will not be perfect, I will have made it perfect in a future upgrade.
Currently, I want to reach King Stage as soon as possible, and that is the only way I could survive against the Green Kings. If they appeared before I reached the King Stage, then it would be the death of me.
Hun!
I had just thought that when I felt a sudden change in the ruin, there was no increase in the density of energy or power, but the change I am feeling unmistakable.

I had just felt the change when suddenly, I saw the fiery balls of Ghostly green fire appearing in the sky. These balls are small, about the size of my head, but they are glowing spookily in the sky.
"FUCK!"
I couldn't help but curse loudly as my whole body shook in fear; the diary had not mentioned what kind of spectacle that will herald the appearance of the Green Kings but seein the scary fiery balls in the sky, I am sure this sign of Green Kings appearing.
One more thing, the fiery green balls in the sky are in a lot more quantity than written in the diary.
The diary had mentioned that there wouldn't be more than twelve signs in the sky, but I could already spot more than thirty balls in the sky, which I am sure is very bad for me.
It had been less than ten seconds when those fiery balls appeared in the sky when suddenly they begin to shine like a sun, bathing whole night their ghostly green glow, which felt very uncomfortable around my skin.
The fiery green balls blazed like a sun for a moment before they fell down like meteors and merged into bodies of the Ghouls.
My luck was extremely shitty that one fiery ball fell on the Ghoul that was little more than kilometers away from me.
As Ghostly Fire's battle merged into that silver Ghoul, a huge change began to occur into that Ghoul. First, its skin color changed to that of the ghostly green before a green jade armor begins to appear on their body.
Within a second, the Jade Armor of Ghostly Green Shade appeared ghostly shade appeared on the Ghoul's body, covering every inch of it. In its hand, a greatsword appeared with Iron Handle and Jade blade.

The most notable thing that appeared on it was the cloak, which looked like it is made of the Ghostly Green Fire.
The change was amazing, but it had also light up the great fire of fear inside me. Just one look at Ghoul and I know I am not its match; it had the power to kill me in a single move.
'Run!'
An instinct came from deep inside me; my whole self became aware that I could not survive against this being. It screamed at me to run away as fast as can, and I followed that direction without hesitating.
"Running away so soon, little human!" I heard a deep voice and found a Ghoul covered beautifully ghostly jade armor and fiery clock in front of me.
Its whole body is covered in Armor, even its eyes. I can't see what it is feeling, but his voice is enough to tell me he is extremely angry.
Unlike the Silver Ghouls, who are more interested in playing rather than actual killing. The Green Kings are the opposite; they go for the immediate execution of the enemy.
"Human, you have soiled the sacred ground with your filthy presence." It said slowly with every worth seething with anger.
"Now, die so I could purify your presence from the Sacred Realm." It said and punched toward me; this bastard had not considered me worthy enough to use its blade on me; it had just punched.
Seeing the punch of death coming at me, I activated the last move I had. This move I had used very few times, I can use it single time as it used every speck of energy I have.
The move immediately sucked away all the energy from my body and moved it into my body. This move gives more power than the first boost; I could nearly five times if I had my energy storage full.
Feeling the immense power running in my body, I moved but was quite surprised to find that my speed is extremely slow. I found myself moving at the speed of a snail.
It is not I am moving at an extremely slow speed, its just that it is moving at an extremely fast speed.
Its movement is extremely fluid that even after moving at such amazing speed, I could see every part of its body, and it is a casual punch from it; it is not even using any special moves or Art.

Beneath No Sky: Chronicles of the Atmospheric Sector
After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama. Multiple POV protagonists and lots of unnecessary detail. Somewhat psychological. My first work on this website.
