If this Ruin had been old as of last Ruin I had been, people would have flocked here in doves, but this Ruin is ancient, the oldest I've been. 

The evidence suggests that it had broken up from its original world more than fifty thousand years ago, and before reaching our world, it had already been at around two worlds at the least,

There was clear evidence of that when this Ruin was first discovered by us four hundred years.

Still, despite being old, this Ruin has many good things; if not for that, I would have never come here.

After looking route, I closed the map and started journeying toward it. The Radiant Glow may seem close, but it is very far; it will take me two to three days to reach there with my current speed.

Suddenly I stopped, and a sword appeared in my hands; the runes inside me lit up as I whipped back my sword.

Clang!

My sword clashed against the sharp claws of Grey Wolf as it bounced back effortlessly while I shook a little. I was sneak attacked by the wolf monster.

It had been following me for a few minutes, trying to find it a perfect chance to sneak attack when I gave an opening; it took the chance without a throught.

In front of me is a Grey wolf; it is small, just one and a half meters long. It has very sharp claws and shiny grey fur, which seemed very soft. This wolf monster is at the Initial Duke Stage, and by that Standard, it is tiny.

Duke level monster wolves are at least ten meters long, and this one in front of me is just one and a half meters long, the same size as Private stage wolf.

If not for me sensing is a powerful Duke Stage aura from it, I would have thought it is just a regular Grey wolf monster and not a powerful monster, which even I have to be careful of.

"Grrrr!"

It growled at me and attacked me again, and this time its speed is even faster, and its claws have become longer. Seeing it coming, I swung my sword without question, this Wolf is very powerful, and I have to kill it.

Clang!

Its claws slashed against my sword again, and this time, the impact was so large that I have to take a step back while the Grey Wolf monster moved back effortlessly.

This Grey Wolf has excellent control over the wordly energy; though it can't fly it yet, it can glide on it without any problem. 

"Growl!"

It growled loudly before bushy tail swung from behind, releasing several grey wind arcs at me, and at the same time, it came at me with the speed that could put a shame on the Prince Stage powerhouse.

Seeing such powerful sure kill attacks coming at me, I became serious, and runes inside me started to shine brightly. 

I disappeared and appeared in front of the Wolf and swung down my sword, which has become three times heavier than before.

"Grrrr!" 

The Wolf was surprised by my sudden appearance in front of it, but it had reacted fast; just as I appeared in front of it, it swiped its shining claws at my sword, which was going at its neck.

CLANG!

Its claws slashed against my sword again, and this time it is Wolf. It flew back; the impact was too great for it effortlessly manage it. 

After I finished my attack, I disappeared from my spot as three grey arcs were about to touch me, and if I did not move away quickly, they would pierce through me.

When I appeared a few meters away, I found the Grey Wolf has stabilized and now looking at me in silence. 

There is no growling or baring teeth, just a gaze of the hunter who had killed in thousand before.

The Wolf's gaze is highly uncomfortable, and an ordinary person might lose composure, but I did not much-felt anything under its eye. 

I have killed in thousands and felt exploding, killing the intent of my mother, which powerful enough to kill an Emperor. So this bit of gaze is nothing to me.

The staring contest lasted for a while before the Grey Wolf Monsters body shone suddenly, and it disappeared from its spot and appeared right in front of me with its claws swiping at my neck.

I am not surprised by its attack, even with its unbelievable speed, which made it looked like a beam of energy; I saw everything, and my sword had been ready for it.

CLANG CLANG!

My sword clashed against its claws loudly, and a huge forcefield erupted from us, but that did not stop the Grey Wolf monster from using recoil and attacked me with its tail, which came so fast that I was barely defended against it.

CLANG CLANG CLANG…

The Grey Wolf monster stared to attack me at a very swift speed, its speed is swift and numerous abilities, I have never seen any beast with so many abilities.

Till now, it had already shown five abilities, and I still felt it had more. I am quite surprised it has so many abilities; having one or two is fine, but five is something else.

Our fight has attracted quite a monsters, its good thing I have Ashlyn. With her handling the mischievous cloud, I can fight this monster contently.

As the time passed, Grey Wolf got angrier and angrier, and its attacks got even faster that smile couldn't help but appear on my face; this monster is a real challenge; I can't remember when I felt so fulfilled when fighting a monster.

It again appeared in front of me swiftly and attacked me with its claws as usual, and I moved my sword to counter when suddenly, a weird smile stretched across its face as it opened its mouth and grey ball of energy came at me, aiming for my chest.

It shocked me, and I expected it to move but did not expect it to have such a move. 

That ball of energy coming at me with extremely fast speed and seeing the distance would be too late; if I were to activate my defense method, I would have to deal with it with the old set's power.

My eyes turned red, and my sense went to overdrive; within a moment, I found away. My eyes hardened as I decided to act on the way, it is dangerous, but it is the only way to deal with this attack.

So, I did not try to dodge the attack entirely, seeing I successfully dodge energy ball but not dangerous claws, which was the real danger.

I moved slightly, and I sprang my sword up with all my strength and activated its blade enchantment at full speed; since I could not avoid the attack, I may as well use it to kill it.

Puchi! PUCHI!

Two sounds came one after another, with me having a hole right beside my heart while my sword in the head of Grey Wolf, which came from down to up with both of its claws barely touching my shoulder.
