"You will have to do something more if you want to injure me, much less beat me," I said and attacked.
As I attacked, a burning red line appeared on the blade edge of my sword, and also heaviness started to emit from the sword.
Samuels's eyes widened, but he reacted quickly and swung his saber as a counter with a speed that is equal to my sword.
Clang!
Step Step...
Our weapons clashed, creating a huge sound while making Samula take a step back. Which shocked him before anger dawned on his face.
"Good, you are powerful that I had thought." He said, and the next moment, I felt an intense aura shot out of him.
"Hell Feather Cuts!" He shouted, and the next moment, the wings appeared behind him; unlike the wings before, these wings are extremely clear as if they are real.
As they appeared, they flapped, and hundreds of feathers nearly a thousand shot out of them.
Sup Sup Sup…
The feathers came at me at extreme speed; these feathers are small fingers but are extremely sharp and powerful. Each of these feathers has the power to kill a Peak Lord.
The Apex inheritance could not underestimate the power one can harness through it beyond compare. The powerful Lords and Dukes and horror on their faces as they looked at the armor.
I have to do something against this attack, or I would be skewed under this powerful attack. Normally, I would have dodged, I have the speed that would let me do it, but I could feel an infusion of will into this attack that would follow me until I destroy the attack or it destroys me.
So, I not only have to defend against but also destroy it, well it's a good thing I have the perfect defense move for that; this powerful attack will help me gauge the value of my newly created defensive move.

'Rose Domination Fifth Move: Rose Cover.' I muttered inside my mind, and a couple of formations inside me lit up.
Suddenly gentle wind could be felt around me, and thousands of tri-color rose petals appeared out of nowhere and started to swirl around me.
Clang Clang Clang...
Finally, feathers reached me and clashed against the feather, and instead of piercing through them, a sharp metallic sound started to ring out as they clashed.
As more and more feathers clashed, the rose petals became brighter and brighter, and they began to swirl around me faster and faster.
In six months, I have worked very hard to create the Inheritance and attacking moves that came with it. For all the moves I've designed, I added everything I have into them.
There are 1099 petals in defense attack, and each petal contains exquisite formation. Each of these petals carved by powerful, swallowing, crushing, and refining formation, also had the power of healing rule, which gave tenacity, and the most amazing thing is, all the petals form one giant defensive formation around.
The more one attack, the more powerful my defense would become. Once the attack started, I didn't even have to provide it with energy; it refines the energy it needs from the enemy's attacks.
"This attack was so-so, try something more powerful." I teased under the cover of my defensive move, hearing Samuels's angry face become beat red.
"Hell Feather Cuts!" He roared, and once again, wide, angel wings appeared behind him, and they flapped again, releasing three times more feather than before, drawing complete horror on the face of the audience.
The attack this time is very powerful; it felt like a tide of feathers coming toward me. Even a powerful Lord with an Apex Inheritance would feel fear seeing this attack; not many people would have the power to avoid this all swallowing Tide.
But I do not fear it; instead, I am very much looking forward to facing this attack head-on. I wanted to test the power of my defense, and there would not be a better attack than this one.

Clang Clang Clang…
The tide of feathers finally clashed against the feathers swirling around me, and I was quite surprised when these feathers and working consecutively to find a hole in my defense and breach.
It gave me a pleasant surprise, and I've again reminded myself to never underestimate Apex Inheritances; no attack of them is as simple as it seems.
The attack came at me like a hungry monster wanting to break my defense with its sharp teeth, but my defense is not that weak, every feather is making it stronger, the more feather crashed into it, the stronger my security would become.
Finally, the attack was over, and we looked at each other; the anger that was present on the face of the Samual had disappeared, and now he is looking at me with calm and rational eyes, seeing that, I also turned serious, the attack that would come would be more powerful than the precious.
"You again surprised me. To defeat you, I will have to use my best attack." He said with a sigh, and the next moment, white flames started to cover him and the saber he was holding, with fire covering him, he looked like a being that came to release one from the cycle of life.
"Hell's Judgment." He said, and the next moment, he appeared in front of me and swung his blazing saber. My eyes turned red, seeing the attack, and I also swung my sword while calling the petals back onto me.
CLANG!
Our weapons clashed, and the deafening sound rang out, and the shockwave was released, despite the suppression of the Central Continent. The shockwave was powerful enough to vaporize any average lords.
The clashes had sent a huge amount of deadly fiery energy into me; it was as sneaky as death that it took me a moment to realize that it is coming at me, and by that time, it had already touched my body.
As it touched my body, it was immediately sucked inside, and numerous formations that had merged into me had lit up. These formations immediately crushed this swallowed energy, converted it, and stored it into special storage without harming me even a bit.
As energy swallowed, a palm-size rose came out from my back and flew ten meters away from us before stopping in mid-air.
CLANG CLANG CLANG…
Samual seemed to feel danger from the rose and wanted to go after it, but I had stopped him. Seeing me stopping him, his attacks have become even fiercer, and while roses kept releasing from me every few seconds.
"What the f.u.c.k are these roses that are coming out of you," Samuel asked; he launched another powerful deathly strike at me. It is extremely powerful, and I had to activate quite a few of the formations to bear the load of attack.
"You will soon know," I said after I defended his attack, this seemed to enrage him more, and his attacks became even wilder, but I defended it all while continuing releasing more roses.
The more roses, I released the more mad Samual seemed to become and many times tried to attack them, but I had easily defended against those attacks.
Even if his attack hit the roses, they would only lose power, not get destroyed on spot, but I prefer something like that not to happen when I am using the first time against the same level opponent.
"You Lost," I said suddenly when a sixteenth rose came out of me and covered us in a perfect circle.

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
